My name is Sylandi Brown, and I had the pleasure of serving as a 2018 Send Me Now Summer Missionary this past summer.

If you haven't picked up by now, we have several of these videos --

Several of our missionaries speaking out about their experiences, and this one will be no different.

However, yes the applications for SendMeNow are closed

That does not mean that there are not opportunities for you to share your faith, for you to share the gospel in each and every day life.

So that's kind of what I wanted to talk to you guys about in just a few moments that we have.

One of the biggest takeaways that I took from my summer

Where I got to serve in Waianae, Hawaii if you couldn't guess from the introduction

At Pu'u Kahea Conference Center, which is located on the island of Oahu

Um, but that big takeaway that I had from this summer is this:

There are always opportunities to share the gospel, to share your faith, if you seek them out

While serving in Hawaii, we really didn't have structured opportunities to share the gospel

And I -- what I mean by that is this:

We may not have had moments where we said -- um, okay this day, this day, and this day

We're going to go out to this place, this location at this time, find ten people, and share the gospel.

We didn't have moments like those, but that does not mean that those moments didn't happen.

Which was an incredible moment for us to put into practice intentionality

We talk about intentionality a lot, but when you're put in a situation where you have to put that to the test

It allows you to grow in a lot of ways

And so for us, one day, we were, we had a day off and so we had the chance to go to the beach

And I remember just seeing something click in all of my staff, in all of my team

In saying, how are we being intentional in this time?

And I remember, so many of us got up, were looking for people to be intentional with

Helping people simply take the things that they were done with at the beach -- their chairs, their towels

asking them if they needed help to bring that back to their cars, or so forth.

Little things like that that led into an abundance of gospel conversations

Moments like that, small moments that made big impacts

And that was reflected throughout my entire experience

Looking for little things. If we're trimming bushes outside of the gate, seeing people walk by

Talking to them, talking with every day people -- tourists, locals, anyone

Who we could find to share the gospel and share our faith. Seeking out those moments is what we did.

And those are moments that had such a tremendous impact

And those are moments that we each can have here today.

Whether you're at the Student Union, in class,

We would be blessed if we had an opportunity where someone came to us directly and said

Hey, will you share your faith with me?

That may or may not happen, but how many times do we have conversations with people

That we know, that may be nonbelievers, may not be necessarily mature in their faith

But we have conversations with people every single day; how many gospel conversations do we miss?

And I think having that mindset of whenever you leave, whenever you walk out into the world

Seeking out those opportunities to make a difference, to impact someone, to share just what God has done in your life

Those are moments that will make a difference.

That is a moment that I had in Hawaii, a few weeks in where I realized the importance of that

The importance of practicing and living intentionality and not just preaching it

Those were moments that defined a missional lifestyle for me

And those are moments that each of you guys can have as well.

Browns' Baker Mayfield Snubs Hue Jackson's Hug Attempt (VIDEO) | Heavy.com

The Cleveland Browns and rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield squared off with former coach Hue Jackson in Week 12.

Jackson, who's now with the Cincinnati Bengals, had no answer when it came to slowing down his former quarterback, as the Browns rolled to a 35-20 win.

But the aftermath of the matchup was what made even more headlines.

It was pretty apparent that Mayfield didn't have much interest in any major interaction with his former coach here.

It even seemed as though he pulled back from the attempted hug of Jackson at the end of the video.

Obviously, Mayfield and others may not have been overly fond of how Jackson approached things after leaving Cleveland.

The Browns quarterback made this known in his postgame comments, as Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Rep revealed.

Baker Mayfield says the way he took it is Hue Jackson was a guy who asked one group to win for him and suddenly showed up on the other sideline.

Jackson was hired originally as a special assistant to the head coach in Cincinnati.

It was rumored as recently as Sunday morning ahead of Week 12 that he could be in line as the future replacement for current coach Marvin Lewis, per CBS Sports.

Whether or not that plays out remains to be seen, but Jackson has had little success as a head coach.

After the coach went 8-8 during one season with the Oakland Raiders, he posted a 3-36-1 record with the Browns.

Jackson was fired after eight games of the 2018 NFL season when the team sat with a 2-5-1 record.

Mayfield wasn't asked to do a ton in the second half against the Bengals as the team held a 28-7 lead going into halftime.

Even still, he finished the game with 258 passing yards on 19-of-26 attempts with four touchdowns.

The Bengals defense simply had no answer for the No.

1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft on this day.
