welcome video for UNE course - Duration: 1:34.
hey everyone I'm Jen Ruel this is super uncomfortable to do a LIVE video or a
video that I'm going to upload I'm not that great with technology so this is
gonna be a little bit of a challenge course for myself I'm really looking
forward to it because I know I need to include a lot more technology into my
classroom through what websites and Google classrooms and but I want to make
sure that the technology that is there is absolutely worthwhile for what the
students are doing and enhancing their learning not just distracting their
learning so with that said a little background on myself I live in
Kennebunkport, Maine. I have I live on a farm we've got goats, dogs, chickens,
horses so it's a busy life! I've got two small children
an eight-year-old and a ten-year-old. I've got a husband who works full-time and
volunteers and we are just a busy family where he's the president of our little
league, we coach Little League basically we love to be part of
everything. I am training for a half marathon that is going to happen in July
so wish me luck on that! My background for education is... for eight years I
taught elementary level (fifth grade) and then for the last five years I've taught
middle school math (seventh grade) specifically so all's good with my
career . I've got my master's in literacy through UNE and this is going
to be my post master's certification so really really excited to do what we're
doing here. Thank you and I look forward to connecting.
