MERMAID MEGAFEST 2018 Video | Convention Highlights | Meeting Mermaids in South Haven Michigan - Duration: 4:27.

Gosh! I was gonna say something, dad... I don't remember what it was!!!

Hey guys, we just got back from Mermaid Megafest (in South Haven, Michigan) and it was a blast!!

We went to the record-breaking mermaid gathering. I was in grotto number two. You ladies were all great!

We ended up breaking the world record. I think we had a

420-ish mermaids which was fabulous.

We were out on that pier for about three hours.

I won't lie... I was DYING in my tail. Like... my ankles were dead! But it was totally worth it. ♥

After we went to that, I got to meet Mermaid Marielle and we got to talk a bit.

You should check out her channel. I'm sure you ready watch it. It is called "Aqua Mermaid."

She is so sweet and I got to see her swim in a tank too, and she was wonderful!!

I also got to meet a few other mermaids and make some new mermaid friends.

And mermen friends... which sounds funny? (too many "n's") But I made mermen friends, too.

And I got to see my first silicone mermaid tails in person. It was so cool!!

I had to touch them... because even though I have my own tail, you know... they probably feel different or something! ;)

It was so neat!

Some other highlights of the event... My dad and I (the wonderful gentleman filming this) did something after the event.

AFTER we broke the world record at the pier in South Haven during Mermaid Mega Fest,

we got to go and take pictures with a professional photographer!

Actually, an artist. I'm not going to release details on that yet, but I cannot wait to show pictures and share with you what's going on.

Because I am just over the moon excited about meeting. This wonderful woman...!

I don't know. My mind is blown!

Great photographer. A great artist. Ah, so cool!!!

And after we went to that event, they did the photo shoot and then

we went to the Siren Ball. At the Siren Ball, we got to see all the mermaids out of their tails.

We got to socialize I got to meet the person who coordinated the Mermaid MegaFest.

I hope she'll come visit me sometime!! Because I think we should swim together and this beautiful lake! ;)

I also got to meet some other mermaids

that hopefully I'll get to see at the Michigan Renaissance Faire this year. Pretty excited about that!

One of the biggest highlights though, at the entire event, was that they had a giant tank that mermaid Morgana brought.

And a bunch of mermaids were swimming in that. I got some footage of them swimming around.

I even got to get some video footage of Mermaid Hannah Fraser! Which, guys... she is SO sweet! ♥ Like... oh my gosh!

Even just being in her presence was fabulous. ♥

I got some footage of Hannah Fraser and some other mermaids in Mermaid Morgana's tank.

The tank was this big, beautiful, cylindrical thing that just caught the light perfectly and was glistening.

The mermaids looked ethereal. And it was so SO spectacular! ♥

I was going to go in, but I didn't get to. We were last minute about it.

I was kind of a chicken about it. I didn't really want to get in a tank for the first time because it looked very challenging!

But I will maybe get a chance to do it some other time? I'm hoping! Maybe in some other tank somewhere? Who knows!?

It's gonna happen! Someday!! And you'll see footage of it!

I just want to say "thank you" everybody who organized Mermaid MegaFest.

It was....

Probably the highlight of my year so far! ♥ And thank you Dad for taking me!!

(Dad is back there!) I hope to see you next year at Mermaid Megafest 2019!
