When God Closes a Door - Inspirational & Motivational Video - Duration: 6:52.

In the walk of faith, there is a sound that is

Impossible for us to get used to

It often comes abruptly and it always

happens

Surprisingly, it's inaudible, but it is powerful

And most of us can name specific

Places and times in our lives when we heard that sound and I'm referring to the sound

That occurs when God closes a door

The thing that makes it so difficult is that we usually

misinterpret that sound it often comes on the heels of

strong commitment to obedience

being filled with the spirit

Going through a season of Prayer often over weeks of time

followed by hard work diligent effort

the counsel of others

and then slam that door shuts

And to make it even more difficult is

The following the closing of the door there is silence

deafening silence God's silence

Where are you God?

Times like that we are

Humbly reminded that he is the potter and we are the clay

He is the master. We are the servant

We say we willingly bow before him that he is our God and He is our

guide o great Jehovah

Just a pilgrim in a barren land and

And I'm moving toward the goal of

honoring you and serving you and

now this

To make it even more difficult God does not tell us why

certainly not

then

God rarely if ever explains why

One thing is for sure when that door closes. We do not think at that moment. This is going to lead me to something better

The Scottish Essayist Thomas Carlyle 19th century writer

Essayist historian put it this way

When the oak tree is felled the whole forest echoes with it

But a hundred acorns are planted silently by some unnoticed breeze

When the door slams on our face we don't think that poetically

All we can hear is the falling of our oak

Destroying our dream our hope our anticipation we don't think at that moment that there are some acorns being

Whisked away and blown to a place that will grow and bear fruit for God's glory through an open door

At a time like this when the door closes and some of you have had one close recently

That's when great theology needs to kick in and two great truths come to our rescue

The first truth is that God is sovereign

Daniel 4:35 all the inhabitants of the earth are is nothing

And He does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth and no one can ward off his

Hand or say to him. What are you doing?

The psalmist put it this way in 115:3 our God is in the heavens he does whatever he pleases

Sort of point-blank in your face. I'm in charge

The other great truth is that God's plan is profound

And often to us very strange

Revelation

3:7 tells us he is the one who opens and no one closes he closes and no one opens

And there's no explanation

following that statement

You feel like a failure you feel like you

Were poor in planning you weren't sensitive to the Holy Spirit none of the above is true. God closed the door

But we're not ready to understand closed doors. We like open doors

Especially when we're not told why they closed. Remember God is sovereign and God's plan is profound and

Often so strange

Get on past the closed doors

There's something great to be reaped

by going

to the open ones

Since God is sovereign

He is in

full control on both sides of any door

Being in full control God takes full responsibility for the results

The closing of a good opportunity

Occurs in order to lead us to an even better one. Not until you walk through the open door and look back

You realize the necessity of the other doors being closed

I have no idea what closed doors

You are living with

For all I know you are going through self-loathing and blame or even worse you may be blaming someone else because a door closed

Because I don't know which one to speak to directly I speak to all of you and say

Let it be

Let the oak fall

Let the acorns scatter

God moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform

He plants his footstep on the sea and rides upon the storm

Deep and unfathomable minds of never failing

Skill he treasures up his bright design and works his sovereign

will

okay... not so long ago

wait a minute

on the 16th of March

yeaaah, it wasn't so long ago

on the 16th of March the Chainsmokers

released their new EP

we have 3 songs here

sooo we will react to this very fast

the title of the album is "Sick Boy...Everybody Hates me"

okay so in the title of the album

we have the titles of 2 songs that are on this album

okay then...

the rules are exactly the same:

I haven't listened to these songs before

so let's move on to the listening

the lyrics are brilliant

I love it

I have this idea in my head

I'm driving down the highway

while listening to this song at full volume

this song will be a hit of the summer

the summer is not even close

but I know that this song will be a hit

I have never really listened to the chainsmokers

I mean... everybody knows "Closer" ft Halsey

and so on...

but I've never been a huge fan of their music

I was ambivalent about their music

but this song is great

I think that after listening to it

I'll listen to the Chainsmokers more often

I really like it

when there's that kind of tension in a song

and you are waiting for a drop to come

and it actually comes

I love that feeling

I can't stand when there's an anti-drop

here we have the drop so I love it

this song is a little bit different

from their previous songs

I would listen to this song

during the roadtrip

the sun is shining

you're driving

the car window is open

the same as in these video clips

your hand is outside the car window

so you can feel the air blast

this song reminds me of the scene like that

I know what I'll be doing during the summer

not gonna lie

I was waiting for the drop to come

especially after listening to the "everybody hates me"

there was that "tension"

that gave me hope for the drop

but that's okay

I'm not complaining

maybe the drop will come later

I love that part

this song is completely different

in completely different style

it's calmer

there's only 3 songs here

but I'd rather have these 3 than nothing

there are artists that I'd be happy if they recorded

even 3 songs

we haven't heard from them in a while

okay, so this is the last song

the title of this song is very promising

so let's see

I hope it won't let us down

the good title is a half of success

so I'm positive about that one

okay, so the beginning of this song is much calmer than in previous one

but as far as I know

the Chainsmokers would never leave us without the good beat

I love the lyrics so much

tbh I had no idea what to think about this EP

before listening to it

'coz I've always thought that

the Chainsmokers can only play a pop music

but this EP turns out to be completely different than I thought

I didn't realize that it is possible to create something better than "E h m "

I haven't heard such a good song for a while

I don't usually listen that kind of music

but we can say it's the most similar

to the style that I listen to

the lyrics are about our society in the 21st century

when there's a song and both lyrics and music are great

the only thing that I can do is to congratulate

I mean... I wouldn't put on this channel something that's not good <nicely said>

the bands that I don't like at all

bands that style I can't stand

the Chainsmokers' music style was the closest

to the style that I listen to

they were also the only one that released a new EP

so I had to choose them

because this is what this show is about

but I'm impressed

but you know what?

it's much easier for me to criticize

bands which music I know

'coz then I know if they did their best

as you could see in my previous video about the NBHD

some of you were shocked

that even though I'm a fan I was able to criticize them

but it is all about !

it differs fans from psycho-fans

Fan can point out the things that he doesn't like

about the work of the artist that he likes

A Psycho (fan) doesn't see the negatives at all

a normal fan is able to say what he doesn't like

that's why it was so easy for me to criticize the NBHD

1st - I'm a fan not a psycho

2nd I listen to them since always so I know that they can do better

what about the Chainsmokers?

I haven't listened to them before

'coz their pop music wasn't for me

I mean I could listen to them in the summer

and that was it

but this EP is a masterpiece

it's amazing

I'm not really sure if it is the style that they've had before

but I can't say this for sure

because I knew only a few songs

I didn't know that this episode of my show will be that good

I didn't know that we will discover something that good

I'm soooo happy
