Hi guys, welcome to another episode of DeliBytes!
It's coming up to that time of year where people are starting to close down switch off and think about
enjoying the summer and the Christmas period. But there's really no better time
when the business is getting quieter to start thinking ahead and planning for the future.
So today's DeliBytes is all about planning your content
and getting ready to really hit 2018 running.
So in terms of planning your content I guess the simplest way of starting if you haven't
started already is to start with simple video blocks quite similar to this one
whether you release them on a weekly monthly or fortnightly basis it's really
important that you actually talk to what your customers wanting to hear from you
and so they learn something they come away inspired and educated by what you have to say.
The best place to start when thinking about blog videos is to
think of your FAQs what are your frequently asked questions?
List them all down cut out a couple of bullet points relating to those questions and then
just hit the record button whether you're recording those by yourself or
you're recording with a professional crew you could really look at doing four
videos at a time pre-recorded or actually spending an entire day with a
professional crew and nailing out 10, 15, 20 video blocks in a day. So planning
ahead and mapping out that content then recording that content in advance will
really give you the get-up-and-go to hit The New Year running and so you've got
that content ready to share with your audience. When it comes to other content
it's really, really easy to plan your activities in your business, plan an event,
plan your entire marketing strategy and just go" Yep! Cool we'll do a video there".
It doesn't quite work like that in order to maximise that videos
potential and so it's really important that you bring someone on such as the
video strategist or even consult a video production team to understand how you
could really maximise both your budget and your time when creating video
content across the portal or across a yearly plan because video content is
like how long is a piece of string so the more you plan it in advance the more
video content you try and at the same time the more you can get
out of the budget that you've got to spend and the more fun you'll have when
doing it. The team won't start shelling with your brand and it will really just
give that whole new energy to the entire production. Video content isn't something
to keep on the backburner and it's not something to be scared of it's not
something that you can easily go and do yourself with your with your mobile
phone and get it at high quality so whilst you can film some content
yourself I'd always recommend talking to a professional about how you can really
lift that game with content. So I hope that's really helped in terms of just
