Camila Cabello and her family cried after watching video for her new track 'Never Be the Same'
Fifth Harmony star turned solo Havana hitmaker has shared the music video for the latest track off her upcoming album, and its an emotional one.
Never Be the Same is the third single (possibly, what even is a single nowadays?) from the singles self-titled debut album, and following the lyrics and tone of the song, the accompanying visual is suitably personal.
The first half of the video contains clips of Camila as a child and some of her recent performances, before cutting to clips of her fans singing along to the track.
Sharing the latter bit on her Twitter page, Camila wrote: i frickin love you all so much and PS my family and i cried several times watching this back. ITS END OF THE YEAR EMO TIME..
The star called the entire video a thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being here for me and for all the memories weve made together this year.
The album, originally called The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving, taught the singer not to be afraid to feel and is the culmination of everything she has done since she made the decision to leave Fifth Harmony at the end of 2016.
Feeling sad is a part of life. Grief is a part of life.
Heartbreak is a part of life, just as much as falling in love is a part of life. And it doesnt necessarily mean that those emotions are bad. They are just as necessary as the happy ones..
Now called Camila, her debut will be released on January 12.
