I can't talk about myself in just one minute. Instead, I will say this:

nothing in this world makes more sense to me than reading.

Perhaps because of my thirst to know more about the world I never seem able

to shut out the thirst that keeps me hungry for more and greater stories

stories which for the most part have taught me valuable lessons. To stay close

to those that matter the most to me. To keep wanting to know more about them and

for them to know more about me as time goes by. To never forget what I learned

about those departed.

But most of all, books have taught me about this: living fully who I am. Taking

time to find that self and standing by it, knowing that that is right. Speaking

my whole truth. Life is very short in fact, and there's no time to be small or

selfish or to be distracted by material possessions and opinions. I owe that to

books. Just how unsettling is it to know that as I read more and more, who I am

today won't be who I become tomorrow.

Nothing in this world makes more sense to me than reading.
