So for my new piece of information, I basically found a study that extends our mindfulness

knowledge already into workplaces.

So I found a comprehensive analysis of a study done and this is found on the Science News

Website, and this website is used in order to find studies and publications that pertain

to different fields of research.

So this particular study relates to this course since it concludes a finding of positive effects

of introducing mindfulness into the work place, both informally and formal practices of mindfulness-

specifically the study goes into detail about how mindfulness improves attention, interpersonal

behavior promotions, and strengthening of relationships that come from practicing mindfulness.

And the results of the study can benefit many companies across the nation, since most companies

try and implement policies and procedures that help make a better workplace for their

employees, this is one more step that can be done towards that- using mindfulness to

attain the atmosphere they want within the workplace.

And this specific study and its results promote the implementation of mindfulness practices

within the workplace obviously.

So this is best to be used.

And for my two questions that help facilitate a discussion about mindfulness and my new

piece of information and what we have learned in class, I came up with asking how this study

relates to helping us construct our mindfulness projects (since our mindfulness projects,

some of them, contain a workplace or a company that we may want to work for in the future)

how these results may help us construct our projects?

And how hard/ how long do we think a company would have to work for in order for them to

acquire these results from the study?

Since mindfulness is not something that can just be fixed and implemented to an entire

company overnight, so how long and how difficult it would be to actually have these successes

of mindfulness show within a workplace?
