I'm Roman and this is the Movavi blog!
Today I'm going to show you how you can easily fix vertical videos to get rid of these
big black side bars in no time
Of course, the best solution is not to film vertically at all.
But sometimes we're in such a hurry to capture something that we forget which way we should
hold our phones.
Especially when we're traveling and there are so many amazing things to capture!
And when you have a backpack, a child, your partner's hand in one hand and an elephant's
trunk in the other and there is a magnificent landscape that you want to capture around you,
you don't really have time to prepare for a professional shoot.
If you want to make a great video and share it with your friends but you realize that
some clips were shot vertically, I'll show you an easy way to rescue them.
We've uploaded our vertical clips into Movavi Video Editor.
Go to 'Filters' and choose the Adjustments category.
Choose the 'Vertical fill' filter and drag it to your clip.
This filter gets rid of the black bars on your video, creating a motion blurred background
in their place.
Isn't that a whole lot better?
Just like that, using this simple tool, we were able to rescue a vertical video.
Now you can share your travel video with your viewers or save it on your computer as a reminder
of the good times you had.
But still, if you want to make the best videos, try to avoid shooting vertically.
There's another common problem with travel videos – camera shake.
No matter how hard we try to hold our camera or mobile phone steady, a slight change in
posture or in hand position, or even breathing, can create shake in your video.
The easiest way to fix this is to use the stabilization tool in your video editor.
It makes a shaky video like this look like that.
I'll tell you more about video stabilization in one of the next tutorials.

Dr. Arghavan Salles – Video Bio - Duration: 3:01.
I was born in Iran and my Mom and I left Iran when I was five and lived in Iowa
for several years before moving to California and that's where I spent most of my life
was in California.
I went to medical school at Stanford University and went on to do my residency and a PhD
at Stanford as well prior to coming to St. Louis.
My two major areas of interest are bariatric surgery or weight loss surgery, helping people
to lose weight, and anti-reflex surgery or what we call foregut surgery so surgery on the stomach.
I also take care of a number of other types of problems and a number of different types
of patients including patients who have hernias from previous surgeries, or who have hernias
in their groins or have problems with their gall bladder.
I think the decision to have bariatric surgery is a really personal one.
There are a number of factors that play into that decision, including what other medical
problems that patient has, how effective other weight loss efforts have been and how bothered
they are by the excess weight that they may be carrying around.
For those that have made that decision I think it is one of the most important things that
they can do for their own health because the changes that happen after bariatric surgery
are dramatic and positive.
People go from not being able to see a movie in a movie theater or not being able to fly
without paying for two seats.
Then you take into account the medical changes that happen.
So peoples blood pressure improves, their diabetes improves, their cholesterol improves
so the number of medications they take every day improves.
It's really important for the patient and the physician and the dietitians and the psychologist
to all work together because those are all big changes that happen for patients after
the surgery and it's impossible to go through it alone and be successful.
So they need support from us and also support from their friends and family.
Having been always in academic medical centers I am a little bit biased, I think that the
care that people provide in places like Stanford and Washington University is better.
I think that because we do stay on top of the research, we know all the latest papers
that are coming out, we attend conferences and talk about the latest techniques.
We meet with each other and talk about the latest data and the latest techniques
and make decisions together about what we think is best for our patients.
I think one of the most satisfying things is being able to help people.
Just yesterday I did bariatric surgery for a patient and she had made it through that
entire process, she made the decision to have the surgery, went through all the evaluations
we asked her to do, made it to the surgery date and when I saw her in the afternoon after
surgery just to see how she was doing and she was so grateful that we have taken this
step together and started her on a path to better health and that's a really great feeling.

Germany's Crazy Robot Censorship In Video Games - Duration: 4:36.
There are a few reasons why you may not want to be a gamer living in Germany.
The sometimes strict censorship of video game violence, for example, is sure to upset those
of you who enjoy seeing your enemies exploding to pieces.
However, once upon a time, German gamers were faced with something a bit more bizarre when
it comes to video game censorship and I'm talking about... the robots.
You see, one way that the industry decided to tackle Germany's problem with video game
violence was to turn all of the characters into non-human robots instead.
Due to this, there are many examples from the 90s and 00s of games having a special
German version created that are extremely different to the rest of the world... and
much more mechanical in nature.
Take Soldier of Fortune 2, for example, which is a popular FPS from back in 2002.
As you can see from the gameplay, there's no shortage of that red stuff, with you being
able to target any of the enemies' body parts and obliterate them to pieces.
Back in 2002, Soldier of Fortune's gameplay was groundbreaking and there was absolutely
no chance that it would be allowed to be released in Germany in its original form.
And so, for the German release, the devs completely changed the game and not only turned every
single human character into a robot, but also replaced the story with a new one, where the
game now takes place in a parallel universe where mankind was completely wiped out by
machines.
The game of course plays and feels very different with all humans now turned to machines.
Also, this means that there's no more of that high tech violence system, with the robots
instead blowing up when defeated.
Another game released in Germany with humans turned to robots is Carmageddon, the graphic
vehicle combat game from 1997.
One big part of the title was the ability to mow down pedestrians during races for points.
Over in Germany though...
German games turning characters into robots though, goes back even further than the 90s,
with one of the first cases happening in Contra from way back in 1988.
This one however, ended up affecting all European regions and it even led to the title being
given a new name...
Probotector.
As you can see on the cover art, the game is now based around futuristic robots instead.
These changes affected all humans in the game and then went on to also be made to all of
the Contra sequels for a whooping 9 years.
One of the later games even decided to make the same changes to a wolf-like playable character,
showing that this treatment wasn't exclusive to humans.
This is similar to Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, which made changes to all of its Demon enemies,
which, whilst humanoid looking in nature, aren't actually human
Turok does also contain many proper human enemies though, such as human poachers, soldiers
and sergeants.
Naturally, these were censored in Germany the same... by turning them into some sort
of robot.
Now there are many more examples of German games with similar sort of changes, but the
last for today will be a rather infamous case from 2003's Command & Conquer: Generals.
The real time strategy game was actually originally released completely uncensored in Germany
and with only a 16+ rating.
However, shortly after release the game was then indexed by the German government, meaning
that it was unable to be sold openly and had to be hidden out of view of children by, for
example, hiding it under counters.
This would, of course, heavily affect sales and so out of nowhere the devs had to create
a new version of their game for the German market.
Thus, a little while later came a version that had many changes made to it, to remove
anything that could potentially cause issues... one of the most popular forms of editing being,
yet again, turning all humans into machines.
Dozens of art assets had to be altered and it really gives a different impression than
the original.
Other changes include the removal of all civilians, changing anthrax to acid, the removal of elements
that were related to real life and even a mission being completely cut from the game.
There were many other changes made to the German version and perhaps one day Censored
Gaming could make a full in-depth video going into these.
Here, for example, is one of the other ways that Command & Conquer: Generals handled human
characters, with the bombers on the left being replaced by bombs on wheels.
Thankfully for German gamers though, it's now been a long time since this sort of thing
has happened and, in fact, the country has actually got a lot more relaxed in recent
years, with them allowing games like Mortal Kombat X completely uncensored.
However, with so many classics from the past being affected, including Valve's Half Life
which is commonly regarded as one of the most influential games of all time, these are memories
that still to this day must unfortunately linger on.

This week, the House Education and Workforce Committee led by the GOP
considered several bills that significantly undermined critical labor protections
and weakened workers' ability to organize.
These anti-worker bills are yet another attack on the freedom to negotiate for
fair wages, benefits, and working conditions.
These harmful policies must be prevented from becoming law.
House and Senate committees approved vastly different approaches to the reauthorization
of the Federal Aviation Administration.
The House, following President Trump's lead, decided to pursue a risky path to privatization of the FAA,
spinning it out to a quasi-private entity, which AFSCME opposes.
The Senate renewed the FAA without the risky privatization scheme.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was forced to postpone the vote on his health care bill
after several Republicans balked at voting for it.
But McConnell is hard at work, trying to make backroom deals to line up the votes he needs.
Now more than ever, we need to tell our senators to oppose this bill.

this is a very special moment at KPMG Colombia and also at KPMG Americas
and KPMG International.
We have here a special moment where we're sharing our strategy plus what our history is.
Starting with the history of the region,
we've been here since 1915,
when Mr. Peat arrived in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires;
he moved to South America with a single purpose, which is to serve his clients in the region.
This combined with the career, with the moment of all people,
KPMG in my case, provided me with very special moments.
I have worked with clients of all magnitudes, large, small,
different industries and a great learning.
Today we have a fantastic story in KPMG that we can talk a lot.
From the personal point of view,
I`ve been here in the firm for thirty years
and I began career
in auditing and I lived very special moments.
I worked for two years in the United States;
I had the opportunity to lead an advisory group for four years.
I believe that the combination of the people with the history of the firm
contributes to the events for this day that we are going to continue until 2020
... with you Jorge.

The history of Colombia also goes back a long way,
we go back more than fifty years, sixty years in Colombia.
I joined the firm in the year 85, 1985,
in that year there were no more than 40 employees in the firm,
today we've passed 1,250 employees.
For me it is a source of great pride to lead this journey
that will take us to the year 2020,
where we will have great opportunities,
great challenges to prove our value and to demonstrate
our drive towards better well-being and better living at KPMG.
The story for us is very important, the way we've done our work is also very important,
and we hope that with your support,
with your decisive support we can get to a good port
in these four years.
Because when we land in 2020 having fulfilled this goal,
it is cerntain that you and as I will be so satisfied

Mitch McConnell has promised Donald Trump that the Senate will vote on its broken healthcare bill.
That means three out of ten people who are addicted to opioids stand to lose medicaid coverage,
For people struggling with addiction, access to healthcare is paramount.

iLearn/Moodle is our campus LMS (Learning Management System).
This is a password protected web space that allows you to communicate with your students,
post course materials, give quizzes, collect assignments, host forums, take attendance,
maintain a gradebook, and do just about anything you would expect from a virtual classroom.
On the front page of iLearn, you will find information on how to get free and discounted
software, including Virus protection, the Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia video editing
software, and Microsoft Office.
CMS is our Common Management System.
It is the HR portal where you will enter your emergency contact information, keep track
of paychecks, print out the official student rosters for your classes, and is where you
will submit final grades at the end of the term.
We are a Google Campus, so if you are familiar with Gmail, this will be an easy transition.
Your campus Gmail and Calendar accounts are where you will receive all official communication,
and scheduled meetings.
In addition, you and each of your students have access to the complete Google suite,
of collaborative tools, including a personal YouTube Channel, and a Google Drive of unlimited

Actually, funny enough, videos got me into wanting to be a pilot.
So, back in the day, in Toronto,
my dad took home a promotional company video
and it had a Blue Angels music video at the end of that.
I watched that once and then I watched it another hundred times
and I was hooked and I said: "That's what I want to do."
I'm Captain Maciej "Match" Hatta, Snowbird 3
with the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds.
I just love the freedom you have with wings and with an airplane
like you're able to do…
obviously within the rules and environment that we have
that you're able to float around.
And whether in formation or separately, it's just,
it's an indescribable passion for a thirst for being in the air.
I've had a unique experience in my life
with all the vantage points I've seen,
whether being over Parliament, or seeing the CN Tour rush past
as I'm watching the boss' jet off my right wing.
I want to be able to share those views
with as many people as possible.
And we do have the claim to be the first North American jet team
to use 360 camera technology.
It allows you to see a bunch of different angles at once,
and analyze the show that way, and airs and debriefs that way.
But more so, it allows the people at home watching it
to be brought into the cockpit.
Whereas, we can't unfortunately share
this experience with a lot of people
in terms of flights, we can try to bring them into the cockpit
through the 360 camera technology.
I got turned around by a video I saw.
That was a turning moment for me.
So, if I can instil that same flicker in some young child's mind
or that same passion or that same "Hey, I want to try that!"
Or "I want to be in that video one day!"
If I can make a video that touches home to that one kid
the same way it hit me,
then that is ultimately my goal fulfilled.

Behind The Scenes, The Making of the Capilano Suspension Bridge Photo - Video - Duration: 2:59.
How more West Coast can you get we're in a rainforest in North Van is raining and
we have a hundred and fifty Mounties here celebrating Canada 150.
Basically the inspiration for this was a book that I was reading celebrating the District of
North Vancouver 100th year anniversary and in that book there was a
photo in 1955 where all the Air Cadets lined the bridge. So I wanted to try to
recreate that and for Canada Day I thought what better way to kind of
celebrate Canada than having a hundred... one hundred plus members on the
bridge and one of the top tourist attractions in all of Canada
You know this is an incredible opportunity for us as an organization
and you know obviously was in British Columbia to participate in Canada 150
celebrations but what's even more important for me is the fact that we've
got so many people here within the organization that are participating in
this and it's the pride I have in the employee in the fact that they've taken
the time out to be here today even though weather still a little bit you
know interesting, after a months of great weather
as always we carry on and very very proud of that.
It'll be once in a lifetime opportunity and
I'm looking forward to everybody being on the bridge and for what will make a
fantastic picture
Us coming together and standing on the bridge again will become
a historic moment for not only members of the RCMP to view in the future but
also for the larger community and sense the pride that we are sensing you today
as members of the RCMP. Proud to serve. Proud to be Canadian. Proud to live in this
wonderful country even though it's raining which is perfectly fine but if
you look around and you look at all the smiles you see the esprit de corps and
you see the pride in the red and the blue and the yellow.
It feels good. There's a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders because there
was a there's a lot of moving parts and as the RCMP normally does we make the
best of it and we kind of push through.

Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from naztazia.com Today I wanted to review the last 20 or
so videos I've made on YouTube. First is my Felted by Fulling handbag using my
good friend Kristin Omdahl's beautiful Be So Brave wool yarn. Next is my Double
Sweet Ripple blanket, which uses two strands of yarn held together to create
a nice blended effect. My Sweet Simple Slippers can be customized to fit any
foot size. And my Crochet Birthday Party hats are always a big hit with the
kids. I show how to knit for beginners using the English method style of
knitting. And I also show how to knit using the Continental method of knitting.
These crochet Sweet Angel decorations are good for any time of the year. My
next two videos show how to crochet and knit an i-cord. I did a collaboration
with my friend Crystal from Bag O Day Crochet and More with this Citrus Splash
Hat. My crochet clothes hangers are both decorative and useful. I love flowers - and
this Flowing Flower works great on hats or shawls. My crochet Bohemian Clutch is
a collaboration with my friend Emi from Hectanooga1. These crochet Lace
Covered Eggs are both pretty and elegant. And this Boho Bead Bracelet is a lot of
fun in these bright colors. The Boho Bead Earrings match the bracelet nicely. My
Jersey handbag is a good pattern for t-shirt yarn. Bell Petal Flowers work
great on hats and shawls as well. These Blossom Scrubbies are made with scrubby
eyelash yarn and look pretty in the kitchen. I also show how to crochet
Scallops on Fleece to create this pretty blanket. And if you want to know how to
knit an easy rose - my Rolled Rose pattern is the one for you. If you need a
break from crocheting and knitting, this Yarn Wrapped Wreath is a good project. Do
you like owls? This cell case is a good project to learn how to cross stitch on
crochet. If one of your hands ever become tired or strained,
I show how to crochet with just one hand in this video. You can learn to crochet
an easy sweater, which is a collaboration with my friend Marie from Underground
Crafter. Plus I used Kristin Omdahl's Be So Tender yarn. You can meet some of my

In the state of Iowa we are fortunate to have an incredibly low unemployment rate.
The largest pool of potential employees in the state are those with disabilities
so it's vitally important to our economic growth and to develop the
skilled workforce that we need, that we make the workplace accessible to all
Iowans. Through the Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act we're responsible for
looking at how we move employment forward for all Iowans. This includes
Iowans with disabilities. We really would like the folks that we serve to be able
to participate fully in those same services and really save the taxpayers
money and help our clients to understand they are part of a community.
WIOA has renewed focus on making our field offices and programs accessible to
individuals with disabilities. You know we have an interesting challenge today
and with limited financial resources we have to find ways to partner and
collaborate differently across all of our core partner areas so this work
that's occurring at the regional level allows state agencies and core partners
to look at how we align service delivery, how we leverage resources, to really
maximize the work that's occurring for each individual Iowan. Under WIOA
our Workforce Development Boards will serve as hubs so the core partners can
work with stakeholders and businesses to meet workforce needs across the state. I
am very grateful that folks are taking the time and interest and putting forth
the energy to serve on these disability access committees to help us to make the
one-stop centers available and accessible to all Iowans. We think this
will fit in very well with strategies not only from the Workforce Innovation
Opportunities Act, but through Future Ready Iowa. In order for
Iowa to meet the skilled workforce needs is projected to have by
2025 the Future Ready Iowa initiative is looking at areas to improve and increase
the number of Iowans in our skilled workforce. That's why the work of the
local disability access committees is so important because they can help
employers in their own region identify individuals who have skills that will
meet their employment needs. We look forward to working with you to help make
our one-stop centers and programs both physically and programmatically
accessible to all Iowans including those with disabilities.
