Hello everybody. Welcome to the Lived Verse Ministries, where we talk about the
power of God and His Word in everyday lives. I am beyond excited for this month's
verse of the month and this month's theme. I really believe it's gonna be a
perspective changer, I know it was for me.
In this video we're gonna break down the
verse of the month as well as introduce the theme for the month.
The verse of the month is Ephesians 3:20.
Ephesians 3:20 reads,
Now all glory to God who is able, through his mighty power
at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
The Ephesians 3:20 verse can really be
broken down into three different parts which gives us three different key
points. The first part, now all glory to God
who is able is a testament to God's power. This is significant because its
if God's name is on the line, then why won't he do the miracle. Why won't he go
above and beyond what we can imagine. God is saying I can do it, that is the first
part God can do it, he is able.
The second part of this verse is, through his mighty power at work within us.
God's power is at work within us through his love for us. When we experience the love
of God we experience the fullness and power of God. The second key point is
God is saying I will do it. Don't look at your circumstance, don't look at what's
around you for it is me that is in you that gives you what you need. God is saying I
will do it, I am what you need.
The third part of this verse is to accomplish
infinitely more than you might ask or think.
This is significant because it implies that this verse requires an act of faith.
God actually wants us to go to him. Ephesians 3:20 as a whole challenges us to
trust God with our wildest dreams and still expect him to blow our minds.
The third key point is God is saying now ask me. God is asking us to tell him what we
want so he can give us more than what we asked for, for he is a loving father.
This month's theme is Getting Started and it's all about maximizing your potential
before you can even see your potential. Make sure you stay tuned because next
week we're gonna talk about how to begin defining a Christ-like vision for your
life you don't even know what to ask God for.
