assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato i welcome you all to ESCO's
annual fundraising dinner 2018 it's a pleasure to have you all here as you all
know esco's main focus is to make a difference in the lives of poor
individuals and families especially the minorities of india who are being
marginalized and getting neglected by providing them educational assistance
health care social cultural and economic development programs we would like to
give them the equal opportunities so that they can complete and make their
own living
the services of the mobile clinic was started in collaboration with Hyderabad
Council of human welfare with a goal to provide quality healthcare access to the
poor and marginalized population of Hyderabad at their doorstep from its
inception to now the mobile clinic provided services to more than 20,000
poor patients on average the mobile clinic treats 200
needy patients on daily basis and covers 3 different locations the plan for 2018
is to continue the mobile clinic operations and add more areas to reach
out to a greater number of needy and poor patients so they can be provided
with needed healthcare services
first of all I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks for the educational
projects you have helped us last year by that we have distributed uniforms to the
deserving children also school books workbooks and also we have helped the
drop-offs by way of scholarships to continue their education it was a very
good help for those people children by the way I want to request you to please
continue the same for this year also so that we can continue those children for
continued education with the scholarships holders and uniforms go in
collaboration with humanity Welfare Society has started a free coaching
Center for high school students to help them get better with some of the
difficult in challenging subjects thing to ensure they are well prepared for the
board exams currently 32 students are enrolled in two batches that started
recently ESCO has also established free sewing center in Korean agar in
collaboration with humanity Welfare Society to help poor and needy women to
achieve financial independence so that they can take care of themselves and
their families
then ESCO hired a field assistant in the Nellore district for the year 2016-2017
to provide help and assistance to poor and needy families to take advantage of
government schemes ESCOs focus was on two schemes the bride program and
educational scholarships with the start of esco's field assistant the number of
beneficiaries had increased from 223 in 2015-2016 to 809 and 2016-2017 each one
of the applicants have received fifty thousand rupees esco's goal for 2017 to
2018 year is 1000 plus beneficiaries as for the educational scholarship scheme
in 2016 2017 six thousand nine hundred ninety four applicants had benefited in
2017 2018 the number of applications had been increased ESCO had recently also
opened a Help Center in Hyderabad and planned to open one in Kareemnagar as
well as many more
ESCO was working with Annai Hajrah college to finish the construction of
the chemistry lab the college's mission is to promote higher education among the
young women in general and economically and educationally backward women with
completion of the construction of the chemistry lab and Annai Hajra can offer
chemistry course to students for generations to come
this College is located in a densely populated area and most of them are very
down drought in an or
by the grace of Allah ESCO has distributed food packs in the month of
Ramadan
ESCO also perform slaughtering on behalf of donors who requested their
meat to be distributed to poor and needy families in India as you have seen the
projects we have done the beneficiaries we have supported and all the goals we
have accomplished there only and only possible because of your generous
donations on behalf of the ESCO board I would like to thank all of you from
