LEGO The Incredibles Video Game - "Parr Family Vacation" DLC Revealed + Pre-Order Bonus Minifigure! - Duration: 2:05.

Hey whats going on everybody HiddenBlade here and I'm back with some more LEGO The Incredibles

The Video Game News!

So in this video, I'll going over the Pre-Order Bonus Minifigure and the first officially

confirmed piece of DLC.

Alright, so the pre order bonus minifigure for this game is Edna Mode.

I've mentioned this a ton in my previous LEGO Incredibles videos, but on Warner Bros. UK

YouTube channel.

You can see at the very end of the LEGO Incredibles trailer that Edna will be the exclusive minifigure.

I'll be covering all the news for LEGO The Incredibles up until release,

so make sure you're subscribed and have that little bell clicked to turn notifications

Anyways, on the PlayStation and the Steam Store we can see that the first bit of DLC

that comes with LEGO The Incredibles is called the Parr Family Vacation Character Pack!

There's currently no images for this DLC yet, but it is a pre-order bonus and will be on

every platform.

Now oddly enough, yesterday a brand new poster came out for The Incredibles 2 and it was

a family vacation poster.

If I had to guess, I'm assuming that these costumes on screen now will be the costumes

in bonus character pack when you pre-order the game.

It's just early access to the DLC, so Just like with the Out of Time DLC in LEGO Marvel

2, so if you pre-order the game, you'll get the character pack 2 to 3 months before the

people

that didnt pre-order it.

Hopefully TT Games also add a summer vacation version of Frozone as well to make it 6 characters

because Frozone is awesome.

I also think that this basically confirms that there will be a LEGO Incredibles season

pass.

Now if there is a Season Pass with 4 or 5 different DLC's, here's hoping that we get

content based on different Pixar movies.

There are some rumors and speculation going around that there will be some characters

from other Pixar movies in the base game, so hopefully we also get some non-incredibles

characters with the Season Pass DLC line-up as well.

This game is basically the key for more LEGO Disney games, so who knows what the future

holds for LEGO Gaming and Disney.

Westworld: How The Internet And Network TV Ruined Season 1 - Video Essay/Analysis - Duration: 4:15.

The internet ruined Westworld Season 1 and the episodic network television method, which

HBO still uses for its biggest shows, failed the series.

Now, is Westworld a perfect show?

No, definitely not.

It has its flaws but with all of the fan theories and massive amounts of speculation surrounding

the series week by week when the first season was on the air, there was no way the showrunners

could have delivered a truly original and surprising finale.

Instead, we got what so many people predicted and speculated, and that kind of sucks.

The way people watch television has changed drastically over the past few years.

It's no longer the norm to sit through wave after wave of commercials while watching primetime

network TV.

If a person is interested in a show like The Walking Dead, more often than not they will

just wait until it's available to rent on Amazon or iTunes the very next day.

That way they won't have to watch any ads at all and can consume the episode at their

own pace.

With the emergence of services like Netflix and Hulu, the power is in the hands of the

consumer.

This puts weekly episodic shows like HBO's Westworld at a disadvantage.

When new seasons of Stranger Things and House of Cards debut, people often binge watch every

episode over a single weekend.

This removes the risk of spoilers, and watching new seasons in this way allows fans to feel

part of the conversation about a certain show for a short period of time.

However, cable channels like HBO and Showtime are still churning out new episodes of their

hit shows on a weekly schedule, and this has had a negative impact on one of 2016's biggest

series.

In its first few episodes, Westworld introduces quite a lot of characters and intriguing plot

points, most of which are begging to be answered.

This, of course, led to the Internet dissecting every little scene and character moment in

those first episodes, leading to plenty of fan theories and conspiracies.

As it turned out, without spoiling too much, some of those theories were correct.

Fans actually predicted some of the biggest reveals in the show and this ruined some surprises

down the line.

Now, some would argue that the actual reveals weren't all that great, and Westworld's

writing and overall plot are too bloated and convoluted.

However, there's no denying just how much the Internet took every single episode apart

scene by scene.

By the time the finale rolled around, not even someone like Alfred Hitchcock, the master

of suspense, could have shocked the viewer.

The main reason this happened is because the manner in which Westworld was rolled out by

HBO.

This is a show that needed to be on Netflix or Amazon because people would have consumed

the entire first season in a short amount of time.

That way, all of the theories and discussion about Westworld would have likely came after

everyone had already finished the finale.

Thus, all of the big plot twists would have actually been, well, surprising.

We simply wouldn't have had the time to speculate and predict and theorize.

Simply put.

Westworld is the first high profile show that fell victim to the new way people consume

content.

It's in this digital age where viewers demand to be given entire seasons all in one go.

While a series like Game of Thrones still benefits from having new episodes debut on

a weekly basis, it doesn't rely on major twists to engage the viewer.

The love for Game of Thrones stems from its grandiose tale about powerful people killing

each other, as well as the show's strong cast of characters.

Those twists do come on Game of Thrones but not as often as Westworld.

Westworld's hook was the maze, all of these puzzles, and all of these mysteries we thought

would be solved in a amazing fashion.

They were solved, but we all these solution coming from miles away.

So where does that leave the second season?

Who knows, but I do believe the emphasis needs to be less on puzzles and twists and more

on character development and a fascinating main plot.

Sounds easy enough, but quite difficult to execute and we'll found out soon enough

how things will change in Season 2.
