At the end of term one in year nine I switched from Nguyễn Siêu High School to
British Vietnamese International School, as known as BVIS Hanoi.
Obviously, by moving from a Vietnamese education to a British education, I had to face many
obstacles. There are two main differences that I can identify: First is the
differences in education & second is the differences in the environment.
With all those issues I had, I struggled to cope with my new school.
Therefore, I realized that I needed to change my learning approach into something more modern, something more innovative.
I'm independent, I'm determined, I'm active, I'm hardworking, but most of all now I'm able to adapt to
any situation and I believe that in FUV, this will be the same. Hence, I believe I
can contribute greatly to the FUV community if I'm selected and adhere to
its core values: intellectually curious, strong in character, hardworking and
community minded. Thank you for listening and I look forward to your response.
