H2 is the smallest molecule in the universe, but just how small is it really?

Welcome to H2minutes!

H2 is 50 pico meters wide. A pico meter is one trillion of a meter. To grasp

how small that is let's do a little experiment. I need you

to pull out a single strand of hair. Well I might need some assistance. Okay, so

look at your hair you can fit approximately 3 million H2

molecules across the width of a single strand of hair. Sometimes, when we say we

have one part per million of H2 in a solution, it doesn't sound like very much,

but if you had 1 ppm of dissolved H2 in a 16-ounce bottle of water, like this one

you would approximately have 150 quintillion H2 molecules, that is 150

followed by 18 zeros. To break it down even further, there's approximately 2

quintillion H2 molecules in a teaspoon of hydrogen water,

measuring at 1 ppm. If we could turn all those H2 molecules, from this teaspoon

into penny, we can approximately fill up 333,000 Dallas Cowboys stadiums.

Man, if I had a penny for every H2 molecule to address. So why is all of this

important? Because H2 is neutral and it's so small, it can get anywhere it wants

to in your body. No area is off-limits for H2! H2 can pass the blood-brain

barrier, the placenta barrier and any other barrier that's in your body. This

is important because 20% of the oxygen we breath goes directly to our brains. Two

to four percent of all the oxygen we breath, turns into free radicals which

makes our brains very susceptible to oxidative stress. Things like glucose,

sodium, alcohol, nicotine and some drugs can get through to our brains, but many

antioxidants and vitamins cannot. But H2 can! This makes H2

a highly promising remedy for oxidative stress in the brain. H2 can even get into

subcellular compartments and reduce oxidative stress in the mitochondria and

nucleus. It can even help to protect our DNA and RNA. I hope you all learned

That's so freaking cool!!!

And a lot of colors to choose from...let's see we have red yellow purple blue pink and green!

Let me pick it up

Yeah, it feels pretty heavy

Let's take a closer look at the green one. I wonder what's inside?...

I can't hear anything when I shake it. Let's look at the red one

Okay, I don't know about you, but I can't wait anymore. I'm gonna open one of these babies up

Let's start with the yellow one!

Nothing up here...What about the bottom?

Still nothing...let's go in a bit deeper

Let's do something with this Play Dough...What should I make...?

I've got just the thing!... I got cookie cutters the other day and what a perfect way to test them out!

Look at this heart-shaped one I got and it says love in the middle...I'm just gonna press it in the middle

Let's take away the extra pieces of Play Dough

Watch how easily it comes out...

Okay, let's try this bunny one

We've got lots of little bunnies running around in the sugar-snap Kingdom. They're just so adorable it melts my heart!

okay, let's push it down take away the extra

And push it out

Now I've got a cute little yellow bunny

Okay, next egg. Let's go for the green one

Still can't hear anything when I shake it hmm. Okay. Let's just open it up...Take a bit off the top...

I think I see something... What is that? So cool! Look at that pattern?

Wonder. What cookie cutter I should use for this Play Dough

Isn't playing with Play Dough just so fun! I mean you can make anything with it. It's just so cool

Okay, I'm just gonna make it nice and flat like a pancake first..

And since it's green. I'm gonna grab my leaf cookie cutter! Put it right in the middle and press it down

And voila we have a green leaf

Okay, what's next amigo? Let's try this

Don't you just love how easily it comes out

Alright next egg!

Let's go for the red one

What secrets lay inside you red egg! Still can't hear anything when I shake it...

It feels a little lighter compared to the other ones... All right I'm gonna use a plastic knife to cut off the top

It's nothing up here

Nothing on the side

See if there's anything at the bottom

Whoo what's that?

It looks all shiny!

OH! It's a little Tyrannosaurus Rex!

It's super stretchy!

Whoa!

Thanks Mrs Plucky! I never thought I would find a t-rex in a magic egg!

Look at how red this Play Dough is!

Okay, I'm just gonna mush it on the table and turn it into a really flat pancake

See how flat that is!

And since it's red. I'm gonna be using my strawberry cookie cutter. Let's put it in the middle and press it down

Take away the extra...And pop it out

Look at my red strawberry can t-rex eat strawberries?...

I Don't think so!

Okay, let's try a different kind of cookie cutter for this next piece. Just gonna mush it on the table

And look it's a little fishy one!

Press it down

Take away the extra pieces

Make sure all the edges are pressed in...

And look at that! I've got a red little fishy! Or Gold Fish...

Okie Dokes

Let's pick our next egg!

Eeny meeny miny moe catch a tiger by the toe if he squeals let him go eeny meeny miny moe

the pink one!

Still can't hear anything when I shake it, and it feels pretty light

I'm gonna grab my knife again. Let's cut a bit off. The top still nothing there. Let's go straight down the middle...

It's a pink gummy snake

So stretchy!... Look how far it stretches

Wow thanks mrs.. Plucky I've always wanted a pink gummy snake. What should we make with this pink Play Dough?

I'm just gonna squish it on the table and see where we go from there

I think I'm going try my cat cookie-cutter!...Place it in the middle and push it in

What secrets lay inside you purple egg? Look at all the cracks in this one

And It feels pretty heavy!

Alright, let's open it up...Take a bit off the top

Whats that?...Cool!...It's a little Ice-Cream Cone!

And it looks like it comes apart

Awesome!

Ice cream is one of my favorite foods! Now I have a mini one!

Let's see what to do with this play-doh

Let's grab my rabbit cutter again...Press it down

Take away the extra

And Push it out! Now I have a purple rabbit!... Can rabbits eat ice cream?

I Don't think so! Okay next piece... What should I do with this one?

I Think I'll grab my dolphin cutter...Let's place it in the middle

Take away the extra pieces

Make sure all the edges are in

And cool! Tt's a purple dolphin!

Okay guys last egg and it's a blue one! What secrets lie inside you blue egg?!

This one feels pretty heavy!

I wonder what could be inside?...

Alright I'm gonna use my knife again

Let's cut off a bit at the top... Nothing...Let's cut off a bit at the bottom

Hmm still nothing...Let's cut off the side...Cool!... I think they're marbles

So we've got one... two ...look at the pattern

And three! Three green marbles! Thank you mrs. Plucky

Now what to do with this blue Play Dough?

Think I'll try my tree cookie-cutter

just gonna press it down take away the extra

And look! it's a blue tree !

And for my next piece I think I'll try my dove cookie cutter again

Press it down take away the extra

And pop it out!

I've got a blue dove

Wow look at all of the cool stuff mrs. Plucky gave us and all of the cool stuff we made out of the play-doh!
