( ..shit ...no lights here..)
Uh.. need to buy some lights.
So guys, bought the lights, but what now?
Just a short video about how to make a great christmas photo or video.
What you need are the light, I just bought ...a piece of brochure or cardboard ..knife, scissors ..
And really important, a fast lense with an aperture of at least f2.8 ...in fact you want it even lower..
..but hey this is already quite nice.
What you're gonna do is cutting out some shapes, place them in front of your lens
..and instead of the normal round bokeh balls you'll get those nice shapes.
I'm gonna show you how to use it in a creative way, how to those lights....
..it's just a lot of practise, just try it yourself ...best to do it in low light/dark.
..now off to the DIY moment:
Well that's it, a really short video ...like I said.
You can also use it for your video..
As you can see here a shot of our x-tree without the effect showing the round balls..
..and here with the 'star' effect ..I have to admit those stars weren't cut that good ..
..so the shapes were a bit disappointed, keep in mind to cut it precisely.
Another nice trick is to keep the lights close to the lens.
Combine that with your own bokeh effect and you'll get nice results ..
..more 3D look, as if shooting through something, some sort of framing your shot.
It's really nice trick for your photos and videos.
Just a bit more XMAS!!
(Now get away..it's all a mess)
That's what you can do with simple lights, buys yours and make great shots..
use it in you social media when wishing people a merry Xmas
This was it, if you liked this video give it a thumbs up,..
