Hi there! I'm Jessamyn, the creator of "Twincidents", a new webseries inspired

by Shakespeare's classic play about long-lost twins, A Comedy of Errors.

Twin!Jessamyn: Oh, hey Jessamyn. What are you up to? Jessamyn: Hey Jessamyn.

I'm just telling people how they can support my new webseries.

Wanna join me?

Twin!Jessamyn: Sure.

Jessamyn: So as I was saying you might know me as one of the creators of the

literary-inspired webseries Project Dashwood,

which was made with a borrowed camcorder and virtually no budget.

And we want to make Twincidents with higher

video quality and some special effects.

Like using digital filmmaking techniques to make one actress look like identical twins.

That's where you come in.

We need help covering the cost of a decent camera, some lighting and sound equipment,

better editing software, and other little things like batteries and memory cards.

Our goal should cover these basics and any extra money we make will

help make the show even better with things like costumes and props.

Twincidents is a looser adaptation of its source material than Project Dashwood was.

In addition to making it vlog style and setting it in modern day, we've genderswapped

most of the characters so it has a lot more women and added lgbtq+ representation.

Going off the identical twins separated as babies plot we wanted

to update the story with theme about adoption, foster care, and different kinds of families.

Our lead Alexis is a college-age adoptee searching for her birth family.

Little does she know, she has an identical twin and when they end up all in the same town

mixups and mayhem ensue.

There are a lot of challenges to growing up in the foster adoptive system

and we're trying to accurately represent some of those.

The series will be told through two vlog channels.

One is Alexis and her adopted sister Drew documenting their search for Alex's family.

The other is drama student Adriana who happens to be dating Alexis's twin Alexandra.

Helping to bring "Twincidents" to life is an amazing group of young

women all over the globe. They've worked on just about every LIW you can think of.

I'm so lucky to have their brilliant creative minds and experience making

this project the best it can be.
