Waching daily Apr 6 2017

lead us through the night

all our friends fade out of sight

take us save our souls

may we all remain in light

hang my head over the bin

I got caught up in this dream again

where your skin drips on the street

I see your face melt through the wet concrete

I'll remain in light

if it's all I do

will you be there too

all these pills won't help me now

'cause they only do when I believe they do

when I hear the choir sing

try to ignore it then I hear it once again

I'll remain in light

if it's all I do

I hope you'll be there too

Lead us through the night All our friends fade out of sight Take us save our souls May we all remain in light

The #1 rule of recording videos on a cell phone. - Duration: 1:32.

- Stabilization is the most important thing

when you're shooting a video,

whether it's Facebook Live, Periscope, if that thing

still exists anymore, or if you're shooting a video

on your phone or anything else.

Stabilization is the most important thing

and it's really easily achieved.

This is a 25 dollar tripod.

I got it on Amazon, it's ridiculously cheap,

but it folds up into a tiny little bag

and I can take it with me anywhere I go.

This is an attachment that you can buy on the internet

and what happens with this is, see on the bottom?

There's this tiny little hole and it screws into the tripod.

These are little arms.

So, what you do if you put your telephone

into it and then,

you can attach it to your tripod, just like this.

Done, that easy.

So, for $50 with the clampy thing

and the tripod, you're good to go for stabilization.

Notice something, huh?

Horizontal.

Don't shoot video vertical, shoot it horizontal

and this thing will let you.

If you want to shoot it vertical though,

you can move it around and you can, but this is done,

you hit the button, you look at the camera

and you don't have to worry about it.

So please, if you're going to be doing video,

please, please, please, please, please,

on behalf of every camera person in the entire world,

stabilize your stuff

because the Blair Witch Project is not a video style.

(upbeat music)

Getting Started with Client Scripts - Duration: 5:40.

This video will give you an introduction to client scripts and some pointers to help you get started in the right direction.

You can incorporate scripts into the ServiceNow system to extend and customize its features.

These scripts are coded in JavaScript.

Scripts can run on the server… ...and on client browsers.

Since the server has direct access to the database...

... server scripts are typically used to modify records in the database and generate events.

Since the client has access to forms, client scripts are typically used to tailor forms to the current user and conditions.

This video looks at these client scripts.

Client scripts are useful for configuring forms, form fields, and field values in real time, while the user is using the form.

For example, a script can make fields hidden or visible…

…read-only or writable…

…or optional or mandatory, based on the user's role.

A script can also set the value in one field based on the values in other fields…

…modify the options in a choice list based on the user's role…

…or display messages based on the value in a field.

They're a powerful way to tailor a form in real time.

You can see a list of all the client scripts in the instance at System Definition > Client Scripts.

To see the client scripts for a particular form, go to the form…

…open the context menu, and choose Configure > Client Scripts.

There are a few different types of script.

An onLoad script runs when the form loads, before the user ever sees it.

The values in the form are straight from the database.

This type of script lets you control how the form first appears to the user.

An onChange script runs when the user changes the value in any field.

This type of script is handy for setting the value of a field or displaying a message...

... based on the values the user enters in other fields.

An onSubmit script runs when the user submits the form.

This type of script is useful for validating the values that the user entered.

And finally, onCellEdit scripts are similar to onChange…

…except that they run whenever the user changes the value of a field in a list rather than on a form.

Client scripts interact with the system through a small set of APIs.

Let's go back to our list of scripts for the Incident form and take a look.

Client scripts control forms and their fields and values through an API called GlideForm.

The script calls the GlideForm API through the g_form object.

g_form methods let you do lots of things with forms and fields, like highlight areas on the form...

…get information or set the value for a field…

…and change the choices in a list.

The GlideUser API provides information about the current user throught the g_user object.

g_user methods and properties provide the user's names, user ID, roles, and other information.

The GlideRecord API makes calls to the database on the server without having to use mysql.

This API uses the gr object.

And finally, the GlideAjax API passes work to the server in a script include.

This API uses the ajax object.

Now let's look at a few best practices for client scripts.

The base system comes with hundreds of scripts.

If you want to change one of these = scripts, make a copy and change the copy rather than changing the base version.

That way you can go back to the base version if you need to.

Here's another tip.

Some form fields don't contain the actual data.

Instead they contain a reference to the data on the server.

These fields have a button with an information icon.

Client scripts need to make a call to the server to get the data for these fields.

This takes extra time.

To improve client performance, try to make as few references to these fields as possible.

Another way to improve client performance is to run longer scripts on the server instead of the client.

You can use GlideAjax to pass a script to the server in a script include.

And finally, be sure to put comments in your code.

It'll be a big help to the next person who sees it...

... and that just might be you a few months down the road!

For more information, please consult our product documentation, knowledge base, or podcast.

Or ask a question in the ServiceNow Community.

My Birthday Vlog: Make Youtube videos in YOUR LANGUAGE | Life.doc 0.5 - Duration: 13:55.

Daddy!!!

Will you sing along?

[Singing Happy Birthday in Greek]

If you are only going to film Eva

you are not helping me much because you don't want me to show her in the videos.

- I filmed you as well! - Ahhh! Thanks!

But you are not showing up at all!

Goodmorning, today it's Tuesday April 4, 2017

and today I am 38 years old.

Yes, yes, 38!

Not that it makes any difference by the way.

Nor today will be any different than the rest of the days.

So I get back home

where, for the next 6-7 hours, I can sit down to my computer

in silence, until my family returns from work and preschool.

Today, on my way home from my daughter's preschool

I saw a car, a very rare one

which I thought I filmed but it turns out I hadn't pressed the record button

unfortunately I don't have the footage, now I'm going to show you the model, it's a BMW

And it was this one!

So, I thought I was filming it, I had prepared the camera while I was driving

all that is quite dangerous as you understand

how many times you run into this kind of car, though

I tried to film it, I didn't succeed though

so this episode started with a minor FAIL.

As we talked before, today isn't different than the rest

so I have to do a few standard things

for the websites I manage

I also speak in Greek

I'll explain that later.

I think I will explain why I'm speaking in Greek now.

I guess I won't be explaining why I'm speaking in Greek right now but afterwards

because I just got an email

it is about the accounting of my company

At some point I will have to explain

what goes on with this kind of companies

and how in general, someone who works by oneself

to be a little...

yes, and this email informs me of how much money...

so I have to spend some time on this

and as I said before I have to publish some posts on websites

and immediately afterwards I'll tell you

so

give me two minutes

The power cord/plug has been broken for this monitor

and sometimes it turns off

I have to fix that at some point

or just get a new monitor!

Another failure!

I forgot to turn on the mic!

Well, let's do it again!

It's time to tell you why I'm filming this video in Greek

while the 4 previous episodes were mainly in English with a few parts in Greek

for this reason I'll show you my YouTube (stats)

here at Creator's studio

Come to think of it...

Basically I'd better do a screen recording instead of filming with this camera.

It'd be better to record it with the microphone.

Better with this mic right here...

Woa, telephone ringing!

Hey... Ohhhh d@mn!

No, no, I'll go and get some.

Fishies?

And while we're setting up to speak to the mic

telephone rang and we're off to buy some fish!

and for yet another time I'll have to postpone why I'm doing this video in...

ok, it's getting very tedious, I understand that...

but it'll be fast!

Why I'm doing videos in Greek language.

Let's go to check out my YouTube.

So, here we are at Creators' Studio, looking at the channel's stats

Down here I click on Top Geographies

selecting the most recent videos

We'll check out the first episode of the series

which has been watched mainly from Greece

Greeks have watched it for 1:40 minutes and UK people watched it for 1:28.

We can see that most people are watching this (and not leaving), of course I always have subtitles when

I'm talking in Greek

Let's see the second episode.

Figures are similar here as well, UK people watched the video for a longer time

They watched 3 minutes of the video on average compared to Greeks' 2 minutes.

That's a positive sign, let's go to check out the most popular one

comparatively of course, since 95 views

we can't say it's not that much popular!

but compared to others

we see that this episode

in which I talked about the cameras, the lenses, the gear I am using

although most viewers came from Greece

64, six people from US and six people from UK that watched it

in UK they watched 8 minutes, almost the entire video's duration!

while US viewers didn't spend that less time watching the video compared to Greeks

We notice that it's mostly Greek viewers who watch the videos

so why do them in English, that was one of the reasons

why I'm doing this very video in Greek

The fact that people from abroad are watching these first episodes

was expected since I mostly speak in English and keeping my Greek talking at minimum

but let's now see a video

which I published two days before I began filming this series of episodes

where I talk in Greek throughout the video, I don't speak English at all

and I think it's about 3 minutes, it's quite short

if you haven't watched it, I'm speaking in Greek in front of the camera.

while this video addresses mainly to...

ok, it's for the whole world but given I speak in Greek

I didn't expect so many people from abroad would watch that

while 41% of the viewers come from Greece

that means 59% don't come from Greece!

although I speak in Greek

of course I've translated the title and the description and have typed in English subtitles.

so an overseas viewer isn't disappointed when visiting and watching the video

The one thing that impressed me the most, though

is the duration of the video those people watched for

from abroad.

As we see, Greeks watched the two of the video's three minutes on average

but upon checking further below

viewers from other countries...

devoted similar or more time watching the video.

In a video where I speak exclusively in Greek, huh!

So, I now think:

I've done four episodes thus far.

mainly in English having only a few short parts in Greek

which were watched by Greeks mostly.

Another video that has a lot more views till now

compared to these episodes

which featured 50 to 95 views each,

last month's most popular video

was watched once again mostly by Greeks

so one main reason for doing videos in Greek is that mostly Greeks watch these videos

but a video that was done exclusively in Greek

was watched

59% watched that video from abroad

and that 59% of people

devoted similar time with Greeks to watch it.

So, with English title, English description and subtitles

I don't see a reason to do these videos in English

since my English accent sucks, no question about it

I will never improve my accent

and my understanding is, according to the feedback I received, that

I come out more naturally when speaking in Greek, as Greek is my native language

and confirming that

half of the viewers come from outside Greece

despite me talking in Greek

and watch for plenty of minutes in spite of me speaking in Greek

why don't I make the videos in Greek?

And I bet...

...and I think I'm good at that...

that this video

will become more popular than previous episodes

that I made for the LIFE.doc series.

from the 4 previous ones that I did in English

and specifically, that one about the gear was a lot more organized

compared to today's video which is very spontaneous

and the main topic being why I'm doing these videos in the Greek language

for yet another time, I've made a couple of more videos of

explaining why to make videos in Greek, why make them in English

I had my concerns, I had my doubts

having this sample now, of course it's a very small one

anyway, it will depend on... how it will become...

how this will come out... the results of this video anyhow...

so now that I've explained this

I have finished what I had to do on the websites, I got a ton of emails to reply to

however, my parents are coming in 5 minutes

at least I finished explaining why I'm making these in Greek

and that's all!

Life goes on... at 38!

Good morning!

Thank you very much!

Mum and dad just left.

Today, apart from the emails, I'll have lots of wishes.

so work will probably be left a bit behind today.

...for blowing out the candles...

Cute Puppies, Puppy Video for Kids! Houndie-Lynn Tells A Fib! Puppies Playtime - Ep 1 - Duration: 5:48.

[Announcer] Welcome to Puppies Playtime!

In this Episode - Houndie-Lynn Tells A Fib – A lesson in Honesty.

Houndie-Lynn – What a beautiful day!

I love being outside on a beautiful Spring day!

(Sniff, sniff) Mmmm…my nose detects the scent of something yummy!

Better investigate!

(digging sound)

Hey! Look what I found!!!

A bone!

It's mine…ALL MINE!

Oh boy, I can't wait to have this for my after dinner treat!!!

It looks sooooo yummy…I'd better hide it back here for safe keeping!

Coco – Hey, Houndie-Lynn!

Houndie-Lynn – OH!

Hey Coco!

Coco – What are you up to on this beautiful Spring day??

Houndie-Lynn (to herself) – If I tell Coco I found a bone, she would probably want

some of it, and it's mine…all mine!

I can't tell her the truth!

What can I say to her instead?!?

Houndie-Lynn – Wellllll…..I'm….uh….looking for my ball!

I was nudging it around earlier and I seem to have lost it!

Coco – Oh, dear!

I can help you find it!

Houndie-Lynn – Oh, that's ok, it's very nice of you to offer, though!

Coco – It's no trouble at all, Houndie-Lynn – That's what friends do…

they help each other out!!

Houndie Lynn – Well…..ummmm…..

I just don't think that we're gonna find it anytime soon….

and don't you have to be back home for anything?

Coco – Nah, mama won't mind if I help a friend!

Houndie Lynn – (sighs)

(tick tock sound effect)

Coco – Wow….that ball is just nowhere to be found!

I am sorry, Houndie-Lynn…I really wanted to help you find your ball!

I'll bet you miss it a lot…

Houndie-Lynn – Ummmmm….yeah.

(to herself) – I really should tell Coco the truth.

I should have told her the truth all along!!

I can't believe I made her look for a ball that isn't even lost for 20 minutes!

Coco - Wait..I think I found something….

(sniff, sniff)

mmmm…something yummy! (digging sound)

OH BOY!

A little snack for us to share while we keep looking for your ball!

Houndie-Lynn – NOOO!

That's not such a great idea…we should put that back!

Coco – Why?

We found it fair and square!

Ooh, it smells soooo good, too!!

We've been on the hunt so long for your ball that I have definitely worked up an appetite!!!

Houndie-Lynn – Ummmm…I think that bone belongs to…ummm...

MIDNIGHT, that big scary dog down the road!

I think you had better put it back before she gets really upset at us!

Coco – Oh, Houndie-Lynn….

Midnight would never want this little of a bone!

This is just OUR size! I think her bones are a LOT bigger!

Houndie-Lynn – LOOK! You need to put that back NOW, ok???

Coco –Houndie-Lynn! Why are you so upset??

Houndie-Lynn – Because it's MINE, ok???

ALL MINE!!!!

Coco – Houndie-Lynn! What's gotten into you!

Houndie-Lynn – That's MY bone…I found it fair and square!!!

Coco – No you didn't!

I just found it fair and square!

But we can share it!

Houndie Lynn – Coco…I have something to tell you.

I…..I….

Coco – What is it, Houndie-Lynn?

Houndie-Lynn – I didn't tell you the truth today.

I told you a big fib.

Coco – What do you mean??

Houndie-Lynn – Well, I didn't really lose my ball….

I wasn't playing ball today at all.

I had just dug up that bone when you came by.

And I told you that I lost my ball because I thought if I told you the truth,

that I would have to share that bone with you.

Coco – So….you mean, I went looking for 20 minutes for a ball that you never lost??

HOUNDIE-LYNN!

Houndie-Lynn – I'm so sorry, Coco!

And when you found the bone and wanted to share it with me, that made me feel so bad,

because you were so nice and generous.

It made me realize I wasn't being a very good friend to you, and I'm really sorry

Coco – Well...that wasn't a very nice thing that you did….

Houndie-Lynn – I know…can you ever forgive me?

Coco – Hmmmm….

well…sure….that's what friends do….they forgive eachother!

Friends?

Houndie-Lynn – You Betcha!

The BEST of friends! Thanks, Coco!

How about we share that bone now?

Coco – Sounds like a plan to me!

(crunching on their bones)

Coco - Wow!

This is one of the best bones I've ever had!

Houndie-Lynn – Me too! =D

(More crunching) (Music)

Coco – Hey guys!

Houndie-Lynn - Coco and Houndie-Lynn here!

Houndie-Lynn – Well, I sure learned a lesson today.

What I did was not very nice!

I should have been honest and told the truth in the first place.

I am thankful Coco forgave me for all that I put her through.

Coco – And I learned that the best snacks

are snacks shared with friends!!!

Houndie-Lynn - Thanks so much for watching!

If you liked this video, please give it a BIG Thumbs up!

Coco – Yeah!

And if you'd like to see Houndie-Lynn, me,

and some of our other puppy friends in some other videos,

please subscribe to our channel!

Houndie-Lynn – And make sure to click that little bell too…

so you can know as soon as a new video comes out!

Coco - Thanks for watching!

Coco and Houndie Lynn – HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Video: Sweepseal Demonstration - Duration: 11:55.

Hi I'm Mark Burton from Sweep Seal and

I want to show you how easy it is to use

our product sweep seal for the purpose

of sweeping chimneys and wood burners

the kit comprises of everything you see

here our heavy-duty firmly insulated bag

the film dispenser the film itself the

cutter for the film the patches that go

on the film the hose that goes through

the patch our white cloth tape and then

two handy bags for putting over the end

of your Hoover okay so I've already

checked the inside of the fireplace and

inside the flu using my torch and mirror

to have a look and see if there's any

obvious obstructions there aren't any

there so I'm ready to place my lead rod

inside the fireplace gently push it up

into the fireplace so you don't dislodge

too much soot this moment in time because

obviously you haven't got any protection

there and sit that just inside the

fireplace like so take your film now for

this you are just going to quickly need

to remove your gloves just because it's

sticky and it'll stick to your gloves

otherwise find the edge of the film now we have an

open fireplace going to have to lift it slightly

higher than the opening and then lower

it back down because obviously the roll

is quite high

so lift up like so and then just allow

the film to drop down and place over the

opening make sure you have enough film to reach

the floor and get your cutter and just

simply cut the film away place yout

dispenser back in the bag it allows

the place to be nice and tidy for you

then you can tidy your film up at this

point just bring it down so it's nice

and tight make sure you've covered all

the areas and that is the fireplace sealed.

Get one of your patches peel it

off this can go anywhere on the

fireplace if you've got an awkward

opening or a tight left-hand or

right-hand bend you can go top bottom

middle wherever you want this is nice

and straight so I'm going to go for the

middle quite low down so that i can get

my rods up and around the corner quite

easily that's in place simply take your

finger push it through the film that's

inside that's the holding the patch give

it a little twist take your flexible

hose at a slight angle this is threaded a

slight angle place it in the fireplace

and just give it a twist that's it in

the hole nice and airtight ready for us

to start sweeping the chimney gloves back

on peel the film down slightly

place your lead rods down through the

hose like so and then just simply

replace this film and that's you ready

to start placing your rods up the

chimney

okay at this point I just want to point

out to you obviously I would be wearing

this for doing the chimney to stop me

from breathing in any hazardous fumes

carbon etc soot from the fireplace but

for the purpose of doing this video so

you can hear me I'm not wearing it but

it's only for this one okay so on the

end of our house we have this T adapter

here this is designed for you to be able

to fit your Hoover on you might need to

find an adapter mine sits on the

hose fine there but you might you can

get an adapter that will make it fit

your hose so we're ready to go it's

going to get a bit noisy now so you just

want to watch and I'll sweep the chimney

and then I'll start talking to you again

so we removed the Hoover the lead hose

the lead rod is still just inside the

the hose at this point take one of your

gloves off leave your glove on that's

going inside the chimney tilt your film

back nice and gently now to make sure

all the dust inside has settled we

can then lift the lead rod back up into

the chimney and out of the house place

that inside the hull resteal it

temporarily we can then undo the hose from the patch nice and simple

quick clean with a towel so it's dry

to go back in your bag and clean

then looking to remove the film halfway

down the fireplace we can have a good

look inside then and remove the rod I

was just a case of peeling it back on

itself folding it over on itself and

then we can see inside nice and cleanly without any soot or mess or

anything coming out the sides or bottom

of the film what we're dealing with for

cleaning out the fireplace gloves back

on lead rod nice and gently out of the

fireplace the few bits of soot coming

down there as well but we're going to

Hoover those out in a minute head off

the brush place down on your sheet clean

the rod back in your bag all ready to go

for the next job then we can vacuum

the fireplace

ok so that's most of the dust out the

fireplace we are now ready to remove the

film and it is simply a case of

folding it in on itself still

got the tackiness on the sides and bottom

you can lift it off keep rolling fold it in fold it in

and there we go one piece of film it's

completely sealed completely safe

there's no dust coming out of there

that's ready to go in the in the

customers been ok so its job done Time to

put everything back in the back of the

van I don't know about you but I've had

the heart in the mouth moment where I've

dropped the end of the hose off the

vacuum where I haven't wrapped it up

properly hoping that no soot comes out the

end we've got our bags here it's a

simple case of just taking the bag

popping the hose in the end of the bag

pull cord job done no soot coming out of

there you get two bags with the kit so

one of them can be in the wash ok best

practice if you're using any of these or

whatever obviously you need a good dry

clean grease free surface to a adhere to

so I always use a bottle of methylated

spirits has been diluted down towle quick

bit on there and then just rub around

the edges just to get any of that dust and in

soot away that's in the way stopping it

from sticking properly and that way you

know you're going to get a good adhesion

of your tape because there's no dust or

anything in the way ok so now I'm going

to demonstrate to you how to do a

different kind of fireplaces the

wood-burning stove so it's inset so it's

off the floor so to make it easier and to

use less film we're going to take my dispenser

I've already put my green box for my

bits and pieces I carry around with me

in front of the fire place on top of

there again pull the film out stick it

on the top there so you've got a nice

seal allow for the amount of film you

need at the bottom there along with the

cutter and then place your film down

it's got some ackward pieces on this stove

but that is the stove sealed ready for

patch I'm going to take the patch again

as I said earlier you can put it

anywhere you want but for the purpose of

this one we're going to go just slightly

lower and to the left hand side because

on this fireplace there's actually a

bend that goes up into the chimney one

glove on hose twist in that's it in

place just give it a few more twists so

it's in there nice and firm that's nice

an airtight it's not going anywhere

supporting itself put the film away back

in the bag move the green box out of the

way one glove on lead rod it's already

placed inside the fireplace because

you've seen me do that before out and

ready to go film back up and then we can

start placing our rods inside the

fireplace again count them up count them

down there's one there already ok so

I've been out check that it's in the top

of the cowl which is so I'm going to

remove my bag for the protection stop

the dust coming down get my adaptor ready

ready pop that in the side of the

t-piece and we're ready to sweep the

chimney again I would be wearing my dust

mask just to point out to you that I

haven't forgotten to do it I'm not doing

it for the purposes of filming

okay so that's the chimney swept we're

going to do the same as we did with the

open fireplace now pull this corner down

I'm going to take one of my gloves off

and we'll be able to detach the top of

the lead rod got that inside the

fireplace remove that brush disconnect

the Hoover It can go back up them for

temporarily again the case of twisting hose

out of the film and the way it goes. Okay

so that's it job done we've got this

simple piece of plastic here we've just

rolled up same as the open fireplace no

need to have smelly dirty slip clothes in

the back your van you've got to take

home and try and clean and then dry your

foam blocks, no stinking van of

horrible dirty foam blocks it's as simple

as this this is wrapped up there's no

YouTube Is CENSORING Videos They Don't Like - Duration: 1:07.

hi guys I just wanted to make a short one

on censorship and the kind of censorship

that I am currently under ok so YouTube

obviously is a private company they can

set whether the policy they want but I

find it a bit ridiculous what they are doing

to creators is like me at the moment in that they are

censoring my videos meaning that they

are cutting off monetization so I can't

put ads on the video and give myself a

little bit of wet dollar and they're

doing it in these videos which they

don't like obviously if it's on

violence or there are violent images in

the thumbnail and it's about something

violent then you have every right to go

ahead and turn off monetization but they

are also turning off monetization on some

of my videos when I literally mention

the words Islam criticism of Islam is

now something that can be censored I

assure you that if I was to make video about

Islamophobia or a criticism of it of

Islam in some sort of video they

would remove ads on it and obviously

I'd lose a bit of income but if I was make a

video making fun of Christians obviously

they are not going to touch that at all

are they because Christians are evil

the most persecuted religious group last

year evil evil evil people those

Christians
