Hi everyone.

I'm Ava Nie, I'm from China.

I'm studying in the University of Wisconsin Madison who majors in Communication Arts.

I have travelled 6.5000 miles from China to Madison Wisconsin, and I have travelled to

a lot of places since 6 years old.

Travelling really means a lot to me, and it has given me so many precious experiences,

so I come up with an idea to build a student organization in UW-Madison, to find people

who have similar passion as I have, to share our stories and travelling suggestions, and

to have more people join us to find out how traveling can make a difference to their

lives.

So this student organization is called Badger World Explorers, whose principle is that Badgers

go to the world, to experience, to explore, to evoke, and to meet a bigger world.

So how are we going to put it into practice?

First, we will have one speaking event every month.

Speakers will come to share their stories, findings and travelling suggestions about

places that they have been to, either they have travelled to or they have studied in

another country or another state in the U.S.

Every speaking event will be focused on one specific region, such as the Western Europe,

the Middle East, North America or polar regions.

And at the end of each speaking event, we will have a photography exhibition.

We will share all the amazing travelling photos that we collect from UW-Madison students or

faculties.

Also, we will have a traveling information session

that we share all the traveling information such as transportation and accommodation that

people need to know to make a perfect traveling plan.

In addition, we will have a project called Travel Planners Challenge.

In this project, we will have people who have little traveling experience to make traveling

plans for our group trips.

So that's all the big things I want to talk about this student organization here.
