How to use the Video Marketing Tool inside TubeBuddy - Duration: 3:43.

- Hey everyone, it's Lyndsay with Smooth Sailing

business growth.

Today I'm gonna talk to you about video marketing

and a great tool so that you can plan videos

that you create.

As you know, in content marketing

we need to come up with a ton of ideas

not only for podcast topics or blogs or videos

and you're not alone in sometimes getting stumped

and that's okay.

One great tip is to go to your past blogs

that you've written and sometimes

you can kind of pull out a tip or a specific topic

that you can expand on

or share within a video.

So that's one great tip.

Now when you do have a ton of ideas,

if you're like me and you write them down

and then you lose it or you put it in your calendar

and it moves to the next day

or you think up these great ideas at 3 a.m.

as you know happens and then the next day you forget.

So I do put them in my calendar

to actually schedule for myself to create these videos,

but I found a new tool called TubeBuddy

and within that there's actually a video planning tool

within it, which is really cool and really handy

and it's right in YouTube.

So I'm gonna quickly share my screen

and show that to you.

I know I've done another video already on TubeBuddy

and I'm sure it will not be the last

'cause the amount of features it has is absolutely crazy.

So TubeBuddy is a Chrome extension

that is right in YouTube.

So you can see I'm right in YouTube,

but there's like a little dashboard button

that comes down right here with a bunch

of different options.

So I'm going to go to the Video Topic Planner

and so here is a topic that I've created

and you can even put in the bullet points

that you want to write.

So almost like a script.

And then you can delete the topic.

You can say hey this video was completed,

how great is that?

And then you can add another topic.

So let's say I do want to show and share

the TubeBuddy thumbnail creator.

So I am going to add that one in.

They don't really have any points for that

'cause I can wing and I can share how it's done online.

But for some topics that are you talking

and covering five points of X, Y, Z,

sometimes you wanna put those notes right in there

and then save the changes.

So whenever you go to that video topic planner,

the topics are right there so it makes it really handy

for you to do a live stream,

to have a one central spot where all your ideas are stored

and then you know when that idea was completed.

So I think that is super handy for us as entrepreneurs

to be really productive

and be really on top of where we're at

with our video marketing.

So I hope that was really helpful.
