Hello and Welcome back to Cool Magic ForUm!

Today we have a few exciting things to do in this video!
We've got the March contest winners coming up in just a few moments.
As well as I've got a big list of shout outs that I want to do for a bunch of great channels
that support Cool Magic ForUm!
I want you guys to go take a look at those channels and see some of the great work that
their doing on video and support them as well!
Also I've got a really good cool little idea that you can use the Charlier Cut for.
Just a neat little trick.
In case you know the Charlier cut and want a little thing you can do with that.
It is called Acrobatic Aces and this comes out of The Royal Road To Card Magic.
It features two of the Aces actually we'll be using the Ace of diamonds and the Ace of
hearts for this trick.
Putting the Ace of diamonds on the bottom and the Ace of hearts on the top of the deck.
Remember that.
I've been sitting here working in this deck.
This is a brand new deck.
I just got it out of the box a little bit earlier.
so I've been sitting here doing some card springs with it.
Which I've also been learning to do.
I've never been that good at card springs, I've just been messing around with it and
learning how to do it better and also at the same time, I'm trying to get a little bend
going in this deck.
A little bend going that way.
You can do it a few different ways.
Of course just bend it like that or if you want to do a few riffle shuffles.
Get it all, nice little bend going in there.
I'm going to do it a little exaggerated for the purposes of the video.
same thing as this, I'm gonna do the explanation and trick all at the same time.
what you would want to do is get your self about half way into the deck right there.
Then take the top half of the deck and riffle it up like that.
Like i said I'm doing this exaggerated for the purposes of the video so you can see what's
going on here.
You would have one part of the deck is bent one way and the other part of the deck is
bent the other way now.
Then you are gonna get yourself set up for the Charlier cut.
You are going to take out the Ace of diamonds, now you're gonna do the cut, right whee you've
got that little breather break going on.
Hard to do it really slow, lol, these cards are slippery!
Like I said throw the Ace of diamonds right in the middle of the deck we'll get it lost
there.
Get your self set up for the Charlier cut again and you're gonna take the Ace of hearts
and lose that in the middle of the deck.
Give it a good shake, snap your fingers and both the Aces return right where they started
from!
Neat little trick, like i said something that you can show off.
Let me show you what's happening here and how that works.
It's just a little deceiving, almost a little confusing to watch it.
But, watch slowly what happens here.
You might have already caught it! once again we're gonna start off with the Ace of diamonds
on the bottom and the Ace of hearts on the top, getting a nice little bend going in the
cards.
Then go about half way up there as a matter fact try to get yourself right about the middle
of it.
Then been those, the top half up like that.
Getting a nice little bend going.
This is the thing, you're gonna get the Ace of diamonds out get your self ready for the
Charlier cut.
It's really easy to do, split that right there where you left that breather break.
Now this is what gets past people.
i took the Ace of diamonds off of the bottom, now whats actually on top is the Ace of hearts,
so what I'm really doing is putting the Ace of diamonds right there on top of the Ace
of hearts and closing it up.
See what's happening there?
Now, this is what I didn't tell you before.
The second time your gonna say I'm take the Ace of hearts, only you don't show that because
it's not the Ace of hearts, in this case it's the 4 of hearts.
You don't show that part of it.
You just say i'm gonna take the Ace of hearts and go ahead and lose that into the middle.
You can bend them back if you want to.
Give them a little bit of a shake and hopefully if we did everything correctly they jump right
back there!
See what happens? you just make that cut and they go right back to where they started from.
Neat little trick!
I hope you guys practice that, I'll practice it some more!

It;s fun to si around and do.
i sit around often and then do it.
Plenty of videos out there on the Charlier cut so I'm not gonna get too in depth on that
because we a have a lot to do in this video and we can't be here forever.
