hey let's tell them about our paranormal experiences that we had at the Spanish
military hospital yeah I got some of those there well hello there pear peeps
and welcome to another episode of our haunted travels I am your host Sean
Donnelly I'm your co-host Maryann Donnelly hey in this video we're gonna
tell you some of the personal experiences that we had when we were at
the Spanish military hospital and this was back in 2010 we still remember them
to this day because you know what these experiences and what took place what got
us started into what we're doing now this led us to the path to be sitting
here talking to you guys right now a lot of people say well I'll get into the
paranormal it all started with this location right here that's right because
this is where we had our first experiences that were like hmm hmm yeah
we we actually did do the lighthouse first go down there and you know we went
on one of there you know we didn't really have any experiences there we had
experiences this is this is what this is what put inside me and said I want to
find out more what happened when we were at the Spanish military hospital so let
me just talk about this just a little bit and then we're gonna put our circle
back on but before we do that if you are into the paranormal history forensic
science and that kind of stuff you're in the right place right now you're gonna

cool kids coming so 2010 this was the second time that we
those of you who have yeah together yeah together so for those of you who don't
know our story how we going to basically we went to st. Augustine on our
honeymoon in 2006 mm we liked it a lot so 2010 we wanted to go back and we
already toured everything during the day so we went to hit some of the other
spots that we didn't get to and then Maryann found the ghost tours and that's
basically her fault okay so after we did the lighthouse like
Marian talked about we she found a ghost tour that went all through town well it
originates at the Spanish military hospital so the day of the tour during
the day we thought well let's go down to Spanish let's just go down and see the
day tour which is you know awesome we really recommend that folks if you're
going to do some ghost stuff go during the day too because you get like two
different things and then they tie together and it's awesome anyways plus
you get to see a little bit the lights are out during the day funny
so we went during the day and I think maybe we went to make sure we had our
tickets and stuff too if memory serves correctly but as soon as we walked in
and at the time we weren't really into the paranormal it was a different way to
see anything so Mary Ann as you could probably tell it's little younger than
me okay so she's always like healthy let's go go go go go well back then she
was now it's like okay anyways so she's always the healthy one you know that
drinks nothing but water occasionally maybe some tea but you know healthy eat
and that kind of thing we walked into the Spanish military hospital and
something happened to Mary Ann she's like I got to sit down I don't feel well
yeah something is wrong it's just kinda like wow
well we passed the the morning-room what do they call that good morning good
morning room since we kind of like passed that threshold she just flush so
you start the tour in the main room and you kind of go over the morning room
they talk to you about what was going on over there you get to look and see the
the doctor's office type thing and then you go into the apothecary and they kind
of start showing you you know the medicines of the day and how they used
to get them from you know the bugs crushing the bugs and whatnot whatever
and I was on the tour and I just I wasn't feeling good and then like the
longer I was in the apothecary room the more it got intensified and I got really
hot and I started to like feel faint you know like I'm I'm not gonna I'm
gonna I'm gonna pass out you know and I just started to feel really sick so I
looked at you who was over here on my left and and I said just I'll be right
back and I left him in there I said I need to go sit down normally that's me
like Mariann go ahead I got to go sit down you know take the camera so I feel
later I went out of the apothecary room into the the main open area which is the
gift shop which they don't really sound that much there but so I went and I and
I sat down on this bench that they had there and I just put my head between my
knees I'm like I can't pass out in the middle of like just someplace so I did
that and I sitting there and I was just trying to breathe and make sure that I
didn't pass out and you know doing all that whole just stick your head between
your knees and this little girl who was working in there she comes up to me with
this cold bottled water she says here I'm like oh no I'm not thirsty should
like no put it on the back of your neck so this happens all the time folks she
says the trust me put it on the back of your neck and and I did and I started to
feel better and the time.he they came out of their
pocket carry room they went into the ward room and he's like you okay and I'm
like I don't know but I'm feeling a little better now and so then I was able
to go on for the rest of the tour but so what we believe now that all the
research and places and all the stuff we believe that something kind of like
drained her energy something something kind of just yeah met with Maryann you
know and it's like whoohoo I'm gonna take her interview yeah but it didn't
affect the camera which is normal because like taking pictures gave me the
camera and said here just keep going and taking pictures but which is weird
because normally it'll drain the batteries of the camera but it took me
instead yeah I mean there was a little bit of nausea but the majority of it was
just the feel the overwhelming feeling that I was gonna pass out those of you
who've been on paranormal investigation or a parent home with him you know what
we're talking about you probably experienced that when when something
just drained your energy like quick and that was that was back in 2010 and you
know I I say that like it's like forever ago but you're a spring chicken man you
can just pop around and you know everything that was really weird and the
funny thing is is once we got out of there and started moving got something
you're fine the rest of ya and nothing happened that night either
no which is odd but we didn't go in the Apothecary room at yeah you stayed in
the ward area true you're right which I going if going back
you want to go back I want to I want to click in a day and see if it happens
and I want to go back and like I own a night tour and see if they'll let me go
over there and see if the same type of thing happens that's like my plans my
hopes so obviously if you saw the ghost stories and folklore from this week you
would have saw footage that we took during that game the other night or the
ghost tour and that that tour was phenomenal
that like I said it changed our lives I mean that put us on this path of
paranormal research and saying we got to do it again and every time we go
somewhere we got to go in a ghost or and that kind of thing it was that tour
guide is the one that that was really cool because when we captured that thing
on video anomaly yeah and he's the one that told
us they don't go by tall amano Cemetery I regard EVPs that we've found yeah so
this was the beginning the Spanish military hospital you know we don't have
that much pictures from there as you know it's because I was behind the
camera not the physic a little bit sickly yeah
all of a sudden suddenly and then that night you know is it was dark it was in
the we were doing it in the dark tour and you don't really want to just keep
having flashes go off in front of everybody so you know you want to be
respectful of others on the tours so we don't have any EVP recordings from there
because we weren't really into it yet we didn't have EVP recorders or something
like that this luckily Maryann bought that little
toy it was a Murrah yeah and we got that video so yeah so is there anything else
you like that that's you you oh no no you also said that I remember you
talking about the feeling of cold spots oh yeah throughout the whole thing
there's yeah in it it's it's strange because we were there in July we don't
remember these places in July and it's very humid in Florida and hot and
everything the building is air-conditioned but you still feel
different areas that are just freezing cold or they pass through you and any
look up is like where's the blower you know my I go in these places I try to
find where it's blowing I'll stay in there for a couple minutes to bring down
my body temperature but you just feel just pack
and through that whole Hospital is just crazy well just to rent the building and
do an investigation that would be off the chart because I'm sure yeah there's
all kinds of stuff for my favorite room is the is the one that has all the old
instruments or the pages of the old ways that they used to do things that you can
read oh they did this procedure like this that that's really cool I like that
but I do want to spend more time in the apothecary room and just see what
happens well at some point we're going back to st. Augustine or we're gonna
