Waching daily Dec 5 2018

What's going on everyone Kellan Reck here today we're gonna do sort of a unique

video because I want to talk about some of the work that I've done with the Red

Sox and I want to react to it and talk about what techniques I used in various

places so in this video we're gonna look at a video that I made in 2013 my first

season with the Red Sox I was working part time with them while

I was still at school at Boston University and this was our September

open video now what the open video is is a video that plays on all of our video

boards at Fenway Park before the team takes the field so this we did in

September of the 2013 season to sort of kick off the fall baseball if you will

and get everybody excited so it's we're gonna kick into it right now let's do

this thing

you gotta love those beauty shots alright so I will stop that's me in this

shot me and one of my co-workers Tim went outside got a bunch of Beauty shots

we wanted to put the idea of this was to put September into the Green Monster and

somehow I ended up being the guy who was gonna do that

his boat shoes

there's our empty slate the monster serious quick pause 2013 there he is

so the song starts slow here and we wanted to build sort of a slow intro and

you can see we've got September there so that's sort of the intro section of the

video and in a lot of videos like this I like to do an intro to build a story of

what's going on in the video and in this case it's just that it's September

baseball is happening and we're getting excited so now that we've done that in

Trout we get into the baseball and we're getting ready for game time

when we were making this video the only cameras we were using were Canon 5d Mark

3 s which we almost never even use anymore that's the best camera we had at

this time in 2013 so we almost didn't have very much slow-mo we had 60 frames

it's 720 p so you'll see some 60 frames stuff here but we had to scale it up to

fit the 1920 by 1080 size and then it's mostly 24 frames per second which if you

watch our current videos you don't see a lot of 24 frames per second stuff so

sort of an interesting thing about this video there's gonna be a lot less slo-mo

than you would see in one of my more recent videos slo-mo there but again 60

grams scaled

this shot right here such technically again this shot is one of my favorite

shots I ever got David Ortiz smashes a walk-off homer runs around the bases

runs to his team at home plate the thing about this shot is I was using the mark

5d mark 3 it was blinking red battery the game

just kept going on I was like come on you got to get this before the camera

dies Ortiz smashes the ball love this shot

you can see the clapping thing we wanted to get everybody in sync make it sort of

feel the rhythm as though the park was feeling the rhythm of the song

now we actually played the dog days song at Fenway and encouraged went around

encouraged people to clap and hit things and stuff like that and grab these shots

so that when we played this back and we're actually editing the video we were

able to get beats to go with it now one thing is when we're making these

music videos for Fenway we can't actually sync the music and the video so

we need to play them back and do our best to have them line up but in this

case we did play it in the park to get the shots of people clapping so that we

could do our best to have some sort of rhythm within the video

and then we ended on a nice beauty shot to kind of close out the night it's so

funny to look back on this stuff and what we used back in 2013 versus now in

just five six years everything has changed so much like I said we were

using Canon 5d Mark 3 that's all we used for that video and nowadays we don't

even really touch those when it comes to shooting in-game action we're mostly

slo-mo we're still shooting time lapses and stuff but you know we were nowhere

near 4k then or anything but I still think that video is fun and really

enjoyable to watch whether it's the fans getting into it and sort of feeling the

rhythm so Fenway Park's coming alive with the song or it's just the

fast-paced of the of the shots I mean nowadays a lot of the stuff we do like I

said is slow-motion so we sort of fall into this we need to have slow-motion to

make something look good but that's not true at all I think in this song maybe

at the beginning you could have slow-mo because the song starts slow but once it

picks up the fast shots and fast cuts really get you going get you excited

gets you pumped for a game so I just wanted to go through talk about

something that I made in the past and this was my first season at Fenway so

obviously my stuff has changed a lot and I want to talk about some recent stuff

too but let me know if you like this kind of video where I watch something

that I did and talk about it hopefully can give you pointers on what I did in

the video let me know if you have any questions I can talk to you about

various aspects of this videos there's nothing too crazy going on it's just

pretty much basic cuts and some color correction here and there but let me

know if you like the style video hopefully we'll do some more and we'll

we'll check you back in the next one thanks guys

you

Infinite DVD unboxing video: Festival of the Spoken Nerd - Duration: 11:09.

Welcome to the Festival Of The Spoken Nerd

Yeah, I've only got myself to blame.

Now, in here, there's a few things involved,

but we're going to go straight into the disc first.

We'll come back to this later.

If I put the disc into the player...

For a start, that's now technically incorrect.

There is a disc in the drive.

Although not a Blu-ray disc! I'll make that very clear.

It's a Blu-ray player.

It's a disc which is definitely both digital and, indeed, versatile.

There's the copyright notice.

You're not allowed to copy or memorise this.

We probably shouldn't be filming the screen, either, but...

what harm can come of that?

(♪ Festival Of The Spoken Nerd theme)

Splash screen.

Look at that resolution!

That is the great thing about watching a DVD!

You get to enjoy every pixel individually.

Wow!

We've got Chapter Selection.

Ah! Look at all those options!

My favourite is the pi-endulum down here,

where I try to calculate pi.

Steve actually wanted this selector to be a tau symbol —

terrible idea!

Helen was very keen it should be a banana,

because she does stuff about bananas in the show.

My good... The argument! It was just... It went on and on.

I really hate it when those two fight.

If we go back to the main menu, we can see what else there is.

Welcome to the Simplifynance Video Blog!! - Duration: 1:57.

Hey everybody. Rachel Stewart here with Simplifynance.

I am super excited and kind of nervous

to announce that this is the introductory video to our video blog series that we'll be doing on YouTube.

What is Simplifynance?

So Simplifynance is traditional financial planning with a twist on it.

It's geared towards the next generation of clients.

What do I mean by that?

Well I am, what I like to call, an "elder millennial."

Someone that kind of borders that line between Millennial and Gen Xers.

And my thought, and my philosophy, is that while although traditional financial planning clients

need guidance, so do we. People who are just starting their careers and complexities are starting to creep in

you know we deserve guidance too. And I want to be somebody who helps give that guidance.

Throughout this video blog series I am hoping to introduce new topics, new education

all geared around the financial industry: life insurance, investments, employer benefits

And I hope that some of this can be of use to you and help you in your own path.

The goal of this video blog is to bring you education on your time from somebody in your generation.

and you know if you have an idea about something you want to learn about, please feel free to email me.

my email address is rachel@simplifynance.com

and if you haven't yet, check out our website: www.simplifynance.com

There's a ton of other resources on there. Blogs and articles that hopefully you can relate to.

We actually just launched our first podcast. That's brand new. Check it out. Let me know what you think.

Alright everybody. I'm really looking forward to our next video where we introduce Nate, our 2nd Simplifynance advisor.

Stay tuned. Thanks. Bye!

Surprise video of investigators recreating when Chris Watts saw Shanann hiding their child - Duration: 10:10.

Surprise video of investigators recreating when Chris Watts saw Shanann hiding their child

In the days after Chris Watts told agents with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation that he had murdered his wife after he witnessed her smother their daughter, investigators went to the home to recreate the scene.

DailyMail. com was able to obtain one of those videos after filing a request under the Colorado Open Records Act, which shows an investigator smothering and choking a life-sized doll meant to represent the couple's older daughter Celeste.

The act is filmed from the baby monitor in Watts' bedroom, which is where and how he claimed to have witnessed the act.

The initial affidavit filed in the case read: 'Chris stated after he told Shanann he wanted a separation, he walked downstairs for a moment and then returned to his bedroom to speak with Shanann again.

'While in the bedroom, via baby monitor located on Shannan's night stand, he observed Bella "sprawled" out on her bed and blue and Shanann actively strangling Celeste.

That is when he claimed that 'he went into a rage and ultimately strangled Shanann to death. He would recant that story two months later when he entered a guilty plea to all three deaths.

DailyMail. com also obtained photos of the plot where Watts dumped his wife's body after killing her and their unborn son.

He dug a hole eight inches in the ground after wrapping her in a sheet from their bed and driving her body and those of daughters Bella and Celeste out to a remote oil field in Colorado.

The coroner in the case previously reported that Shanann was found with the fetus of her son in her underwear when her body was exhumed by investigators, after suffering a prolapsed uterus that was brought on by her gruesome death.

Over the weekend, video also emerged of Watts stopping to grab breakfast after disposing of his family's bodies.

The 33-year-old father and husband is seen on surveillance footage taken at a Colorado convenience store at 8am on the morning of August 13, picking up a sandwich and chatting with the cashier.

Watts can be seen in the video clip wearing an orange T-shirt with sunglasses perched atop his baseball cap as he takes his change and puts it into his wallet before walking away from the counter.

His calm and collected demeanor bellies the fact that he had just dumped the bodies of his daughters Bella, four, and Celeste, three, in an oil tank and buried his pregnant wife Shanann, 34, in a shallow grave in a crude oil field where Watts worked.

Shanann, who was 15 weeks pregnant, and the girls would all be found two days later after a statewide manhunt, after Watts reported them missing and made shifty television appearances pleading for them to come home.

Watts pleaded guilty to murdering his wife and daughters last month after striking a deal with prosecutors that would take the death penalty off the table. On November 19, Watts was sentenced to five consecutive life sentences for his crimes.

In the days since his sentencing, authorities have been releasing a number of files related to the case, including police station footage of Watts telling his father that he 'freaked out' and murdered his wife.

Among the recently released evidence is also chilling surveillance footage which was captured by Watts' neighbor, showing Watts leaving his suburban Denver home on August 13 at about 5. 30am to dispose of the bodies.

He was captured emerging from the home and backing his truck up into the garage before later driving off down the driveway. DailyMail.

com also exclusively revealed that investigators searching through Watts' mistress Nichol Kessinger's phone discovered that she had searched for wedding dresses a week before the murders and Googled 'anal sex' for 45 minutes prior to her last date with Watts, the night before the murders.

The final Google search conducted by Kessinger that was noted by investigators came after the murders of August 19 when she looked into how much money Amber Frey — mistress of convicted wife-killer Scott Peterson — made in her tell-all book deal and her net worth, while also searching 'did people hate Amber Frey.

A search of Watts' phone, meanwhile, found thousands of hidden photos in a secret calculator app that was only accessed by typing in a four digit code. A number of those pics showed a nude or semi-naked Kessinger.

Authorities also released hours of interview footage in the case, including the moment Watts was told he had failed a polygraph test.

Video of the moment reveals that Watts managed to keep his composure after he was very bluntly told by a member of the Colorado Bureau of Investigations that his answers were not truthful.

That agent then began the process of trying to draw a confession of out of Watts, who after talking for some time eventually shut down the interview and demanded to see his father, Ronnie.

Watts then confessed to killing Shanann to Ronnie, who stayed in the interrogation room as the two agents returned, rubbing his son's back while he told them he had murdered his wife.
