Hi I'm Mr. Menjivar.
I am so excited to work with you and your child this year.
It is going to be a year full of fun, learning and a lot of adventures.
I can't wait to see what the year has in stores for us.
I thought you might like to know a little about me.
I graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a degree in early childhood education
and special education.
This will be my first year teaching and I hope to bring my excitement of a new teacher
into the classroom.
I grew up in Long Island New York and graduated from Brentwood high school which is a really
diverse school district.
I come from a Latino family who values and puts a big emphasis on different cultures
and beliefs.
I am fluent in two languages Spanish and English.
During my free time some of the things I like to do are play sports, read, and exploring
new things.
I'm absolutely passionate about teaching.
It is my mission to promote an engaging learning environment.
I aim to teach with a passion so my students develop a desire to become life long learners.
This year I plan on working closely with every single one of you to create a curriculum full
of different culture activities to bring diversity into the classroom and include all the different
culture beliefs each in one of you guys have.
Having a close relationship with you will help your child's performance in and outside
the classroom.
I will be sending a list of materials and class expectations home with your child the
first day of school please go over it carefully and if there is any questions, comments, or
concerns please feel free to contact me and we can figure something out that's works
for you.
