As if the numbers weren't already massive enough for Drake's
No. 1 smash "In My Feelings," Drizzy dropped the track's
official music video late Thursday night, which is sure to pad his stats even more.
The visuals reunite Drake with Karena Evans, the same
director behind "I'm Upset," "Nice For What" and "God's Plan."
Filmed in New Orleans, the clip opens with Drake throwing rocks at Kiki's
window in a skit that shows off the MC's acting chops.
From there, it's a party around the city as we get cameos from Shiggy,
the Instagram comedian responsible for making the song's
dance craze go worldwide and bounce legend Big Freedia,
whose voice you may remember from "Nice For What."
The video culminates in Drake waking up from what he
thinks is a dream with Shiggy, playing a production assistant,
there to greet him in his trailer. Credits then roll as we see a montage
of some of the best "In My Feelings" challenge videos including BTS' J-Hope!
By the looks of Twitter, fans seem to be loving the visuals so far.
One user joked..."this j-hope video featuring drake is a whole bop"
Another complimented Drake on his choice of jerseys
and Drake fansite "Word on Road" paid tribute to
the moment Drizzy released it wasn't all a dream.
