Moving has got to be one of the most stressful things you will ever do your whole life.
Hi, I'm Joshua and I'm talking from experience,
because I have moved a ton in my life. You know, moving out of my parents house,
moving to college, then to an apartment, to a house. I've done it all. I wanted to share all with you today
three of the tips that have helped me to make moves easier as I went along. Number one: Don't forget to breathe.
Now, I know that's easy to say and harder to do.
This is a stressful time in your life when things are changing,
but don't forget to take that time to relax and know that things are gonna be okay.
You're going to get through this move, and you're going to survive.
So take a moment breathe, relax and then get back to work. Tip number two:
Make sure to enlist all the help that you can get.
Family, friends, church groups. Get anyone that you can to help you. The more hands you have helping,
the easier and faster this move will be for you. Plus, you may get to know some really great people, and
create some friendships, and have a really great time in the process.
Finally, my third tip is think about renting a storage unit.
That way you can move all of your stuff out of your old place on time and
still have a nice, clean place to go to
without the clutter, without the boxes, without the overwhelming anxiety to unpack everything.
You can unpack at your own pace. I like to think of a storage unit of kind of a transition place where
you can take your time and really focus on what you want. And get rid of everything else that you don't.

Moving a house is no easy task.
(screams) And we're here to give you five
tips to help your move go smooth.
Tip number one: Use a garbage bag to easily transport all your hanging clothes.
Simply put the ties over the hangers, and you're ready to go.
Tip number two: See what things you can donate, sell or get rid of, so there's
less to move.
Tip number three: You can get free twist ties from most
supermarkets for small cords and cables.
But for bigger cables, you can use the cardboard tube from paper towels or
toilet paper rolls.
Tip number four: When packing fragile and important things, you can wrap
them in blankets.
Be sure to secure your possessions, and then you're ready to go.
Tip number five: Get friends or family to help.
Looks heavy.
It is.
But we don't have room in the truck.
You said that was genuine leather?
Oh yeah.
Pack what you want, have a yard sale for what you don't want, and burn the rest.
Bonus tip: If you want to save the relationships with the people you care
about, hire a mover.
