also as part of the news that came out today george papadapolis he admitted

okay he lied to the FBI I think he's 29 years old now I knew everybody in the

Trump campaign I never heard about Papadopoulos until today and I think I

knew everybody now the White House says he was a volunteer and it seems that

Papadopoulos on his own was trying to create an anti Clinton Russian dossier

like the fusion GPS Hillary DNC President Obama funded dossier and he

wasn't successful so now that we have no Trump collusion here's what we do have

tonight I think the real issue is Papadopoulos I just like saying that

monopolist but Papadopoulos what he did Hillary did ten times were home Hillary

wait they paid millions of dollars to dig up Russian very nude and to

influence an election and possibly an investigation Papadopoulos is just some

30 year old overly ambitious guy that tried to dig up dirt failed member of

Brian Fallon Hillary spokesperson said getting opposition research dirt from

foreigners is a good thing and then try to set up a meeting between Trump and

Putin that got killed by the Trump campaign so maybe he's cooperating now

there are some emails going back and forth the White House provided the

investigators with those emails but now I'm hearing something like you may have

been wearing a wire which I think scares them well listen if nothing else bill

they are consistent in their messaging they're saying repeatedly and I've

talked to quite a few this morning listen nothing that happened yesterday

has changed the narrative that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign

and Russia although it is important to point out the president has been talking

about it not on camera by the way bit on Twitter let me share for the folks at

home just a little bit what the commander-in-chief is saying about it

once again the fake news is working overtime as Paul manna forts lawyer said

there was no collusion and events mentioned took place long before he came

to the campaign he goes on to add few people knew the young low-level

volunteer named George who has already proven to be a liar check the dims

he adds this I hope people will start to focus on our massive tax cuts for

business jobs and the middle class in addition to Democrat corruption now the

low-level volunteer bill and he's referring to as george papadapolis who's

been cooperating with the feds since his arrest over the summer he pleaded guilty

yesterday to lying to federal authorities meanwhile former campaign

chair Paul Manafort charged with a number of financial crimes for failing

to register as a foreign agent as well after lobbying for a group in Ukraine

but White House officials again quick to point out much of what he's accused of

happened years ago it had nothing to do with the 2016 campaign as for

suggestions by the Washington Post the White House is in panic mode attorney Ty

Cobb telling Fox this is farcical the president is focused on preparations for

serious diplomatic activities facing him over the next two weeks in Asia

certainly that is something they would love to be talking about instead of what

is happening out of the special it's a big trip with a lot on the line to

internationally one report yesterday said the White House was in some sort of

panic mode what are you hearing about that and what are officials saying about

that report yeah let me put it to you this way categorically false

that's what White House officials are saying in fact they point out to this

fact Ty Cobb wasn't even in DC yesterday

morning he was in South Carolina attorney John Dowd wasn't at the White

House yesterday now they do acknowledge the president

was briefed bill over the phone but that's it as for the idea that the

president might decide now to fire Robert Muller

Jay said this there is no conversation regarding firing Robert Moeller and

there's no basis to fire Ron are you ruling and anything that we've seen so I

mean I will say that the president has not indicated to me or to anyone else

that I work with that he has any intent on terminating Robert Moeller and the

way it would work is you could only terminate so a special counsel for cause

and we we just don't see any basis for cause no basis for cause in fact I was

told by a White House official off the record

that if you're pushing this narrative this idea that the president is somehow

drumming up this effort to fire Bob Mahler it's just not factual we'll have

to see if it plays out in a different way in the weeks and months ahead of

course this because we continue to look forward to

an announcement about the Fed chair the push for tax reform is you and I have

talked about and of course the Asia trip I have a briefing to get to right now so

How to make MMD Videos #03 Basic animation and keyframes - Duration: 14:19.

Hello everyone I am Gigi Miu!

This model you see here is one of my original characters, Mitsume Temo

She is not a Vocaloid but I have made the model so why not using it for these lessons?

Specially after last lessons in which we talked about copyright and model usage I feel way much safer to do these lessons with a model I own completely.

Today we will see how to animate this model.

I would dare to say it's about time, isn't it? Considering the previous lessons where alla bout installation and legal stuff.

Do not expect to be able to do comple stuff from the very beginning though. Today we will cover just some basic concepts.

A model, in order to be animated needs to have a functional skeleton.

It is called skeleton because it works like our human skeleton.

We are able to move because we have a skeleton, right? Same is for 3d models.

Not only it is called skeleton, but these blue handles are called "bones".

Again, try to think them as if they are bones of a human skeleton.

thought a 3d model skeleton is not identical to a real one, they are indeed quite similar.

When we animate a model in MMD, we are not really animating the model itself, but we are animating the underlying skeleton.

So, let's say I would like to move this arm, I would have to operate on the corresponding bone.

See? I rotate the arm by operating on the rotation control of that corresponding bone.

Obviously the rotation will varying according to the 3D axis I am operating.

As you can see, operating on different axis I can rotate the arm in different orientations.

Most bones only have rotation command, so it is important that you know how to operate them.

I suggest you to pause this video now, open MMD, import a model and try to rotate a bone so you can get confident on this concept.

After you have mastered how to rotate a bone, the next step is to tell the software to remember (it is called REGISTER) how you moved it.

Amimations are made by registering several diverrent positions of the skeleton, so it is important to explain the concept of registration.

When you register a change of position of any bone you have created a KEYFRAME for that bone.

Do you remeber previous lesson when we were saying that videos are made of multiple frames that are shown really fast one after the other?

A keyframe is a "special" frame.

They are frames in which there is REGISTERED inside it a position a certain bone is having during the course of your animation.

Now, before it starting to get way too complex I will just show you how to do it. but please keep in mind all we have just said up now.

Let's say I want my model to raise a hand and the movement should lasts 2 sseconds.

So, at first I rotate the bone so the arm stays in the starting position of the movement I want to make.

Then I click on the REGISTER button, to tell the program that this is my starting position.

Then I move the timeline by 60 frames and then I rotate the bone until I have raised a hand. Then i REGISTER again.

To check my movement I go back to frame 1 and press PLAY.

As you see I have just raised a hand using just 2 keyframes. The starting oen and the ending one.

That's why they are called KEYFRAMES.

Because you only need to tell the software the start position of a movement and the end position, and all the frames in between it are automatically calculated by the software.

As you can see here in the timeline, the software marks with a square each frame where the corresponding bone has a movement that has been registered.

You need to get used to understand and edit keyframes in the timeline, because this is where is stored the movement you applied to the bones of the model.

Mind that every 3D software works this way, so you better spend some time to fully understand what a KEYFRAME is.

To some extent we could even dare to say that we do not care at all of normal frames and we just care of keyframes.

the reason why we do not care about them is because the software calculates them for us and create the frames between 2 keyframes using a technique called interpolation.

No need to study what interpolation is, I am just saying this term so you can get familiar with it.

to animate a model we just need to create KEYFRAMEs. Remember this!! that's the very basic concept of animation.

Pause the video again and go try making a basic animation by yourself.

Have you tried it? Good, let's keep going on.

Please mind that when you press the REGISTER button it only register the bone/s you have selected at that moment.

Please try to avoid confusion and always double check to have registered the correct bone/s.

Double check it every time, ok?

Here is an example of what happens when you forget to register properly an animation. I will move the other arm but then I won't register it.

As you can see, as soon as I press PLAY, I lose all my movement data and I have to re-do it from scratch.

So, in order to raid the other hand as well I need to REGISTER the respective bone too.

As you see, now that I have press play the position is actually registered.

This is all regarding the software usage for today's lesson. I will spend the remaining time talking about theory.

Mind that some of the theory we will discuss now will be really useful for next lesson which is about making complex animations.

Some of you, that already know how to use MMD may find this boring, but remember that these videos are also fro people who are just starting and are getting confused by just trying ot raise a single hand.

To all people tat are new to the software or to animation in general, please spend few days doing really simple animations and simple movements.

The best way to understand these kind of complex softwares, is to keep practicing the basic stuff until you feel confident with it.

In particular, try to move each single bone and see what is the effect!! Today we just saw an arm, but a skeleton is much more complex.

In order to do more complex animation you really need to have a basic grasp of a skeleton and of each single bone.

You will soon realize that a complex motion is made by the sum of lot of simple motions put together.

I could wave to a someone while holding with the other hand a can of coke. And I could be even walking at the same time.

So a complex animation like that is the sum of the left arm, the right arm and the leg, each one doing something different.

sometimes you see dance videos made with MMD and you wonder how they make them.

All these movements are just made by KEYFRAMES. Lots of them!!

So, understanding the concept of keyframes and basic movement is really fundamental.

If you manage to grasp this basic concept you will be able to do any animation.

Next week we will see some techniques to make complex animations easier.

But you need to have mastered this before! So do your best and practice it a lot.

Spend time understanding how bones works and what part of the body is linked to each bone.

Do not worry for now if your movements are ugly. Just keep practicing a lot!

Touch each single bone and see how it behave.

Most of the bones can only be rotated, but there are exceptions.

For instance legs usually have particular bones that can be moved.

You can distinguish them by sight because they have a squared handle instead of the normal circular one.

Remember also that you can select a bone by clicking on the timeline, and selecting it from there.

See, clicking here selects different bones.

Back on the feet, again, try to move them and not only to rotate them and see the differences.

To put it simple: practice a lot!
