Hello I'm Candida Royalle I started Femme productions in 1984 in

order to create erotic movies that reflect women's desire and could be

enjoyed by couples in the comfort and privacy of their own home

the Femme movies are created for the viewing pleasure of mutually consenting

adults. They're also intended to not only entertain and stimulate but to present

the view is with an array of creative new ideas for a long-lasting intimate

relationship. Many counselors and sex therapists integrate the use of adult

movies as part of their work with couples and often prefer to use movies

from my Femme line because of their egalitarian woman friendly approach and

what many therapists describe as their promotion of positive sexual role

modeling. The Femme movies have been shown and discussed at many professional

conferences including the American Psychiatric Association as part of a

lecture I presented and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors,

and Therapists of which I am a member. Erotic movies can be a great opportunity

for opening up the discussion of sexual needs and desires. Asking for what we

want or need in bed can be very difficult for many people especially

women. Being able to refer to what's up on screen can make that discussion a lot

easier. Movies are also a great way to get new ideas. Remember if you want to

keep you sexual relationship intact it would be wise to use some imagination

and creativity. Doing it the same way time after time is a sure way to create

boredom in the bedroom. The movie you're about to see, the Bridal Shower, is one of

my favorite examples of sharing good practical information within a sexy

entertaining format. Not only will you get a chance to hear the kinds of things

women really talk about in private, but you'll get some of my own personal

suggestions for dealing with male erectile concerns, how to slow a man down

in his lovemaking, or to ask for a particular fantasy without feeling

embarrassed.

One of the biggest motivating factors for me to even make music going to her

anything was being afraid that feminism was being erased and that each

generation was gonna have to kind of remake the wheel and I definitely when I

was in Bikini Kill I was trying to remake the wheel because I didn't know

my herstory that well and I feel like to have different generations of women

mixing together with their own ideas of feminism or whatever they want to call

what they're doing would just make it that there'd be a vibrant community and

I think a lot of my work whether it was with Bikini Killer or Le Tigre was it

wasn't so much of like this do good I'm gonna you know be a role model or

whatever it was like I was trying to be the person that I wanted there for me

like it was actually almost like you know the feminists like reclamation

project of like finding lost heroes it was like creating my own lost hero

people were so threatened by a woman in a band like who cares like to me it

seemed completely like ridiculous I was just like wow this is really crazy

having to deal with a sexist sound man, a sexist promoter, a sexist club owner all

the you know bouncers who would call us feminazis or like whatever and then you

have to go onstage with a smile on your face one of the things that I think

keeps girls and women from starting bands is this idea that is true that you

will be more harshly criticized than your male peers, so women feel like oh I

have to take all these lessons I have to get really proficient at my instrument

it's like a way to protect yourself from criticism and I just never fell for that

because I learned about punk rock and I was like well if guys get to go on stage

and not really know what they're doing and make it up as they go along like why

can't we I think that that's a powerful feminist message too about process and

about like you know that the process is just as important as the product and all

that kind of thing.

Introduction to NPIP Biosecurity Audit Outreach Series - Duration: 6:28.

Welcome everybody to this launch and introduction to the video series on how to prepare for the your NPIP

biosecurity audit. I'm Abby Neu, University of Minnesota Extension

Educator for poultry. thanks for joining me as I help you navigate each of these Biosecurity

Principles in order to prepare for your audit.

Why do the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) Biosecurity Principles even exist?

Their purpose is to help you evaluate and manage disease risk on your poultry farm. Each of these 14 principles are

Individual methods that will help you accomplish this.

Moving forward, in order for you to be eligible for HPAI indemnity

as a result of an outbreak, you need to participate in this program

and have the audit completed by the Official State Agency (OSA). In

Minnesota, the OSA is the Minnesota Board of Animal Health and Drs. Dale Lauer and Shauna Voss are going to be the ones

responsible for completing these audits here.

Each site (*or company) needs to complete the audit every two years and

after each of the audits the Official State Agency will submit a report

of compliance to the USDA so that you will be eligible for indemnity, should you need it.

One thing I want to also really bring to the forefront is that the purpose of this audit is not to micro-manage

your biosecurity plan on your farm or to critique what you do or how you do it on your farm.

This audit is merely to verify that you and your employees are doing

on your farm what your biosecurity plan says that you will be doing.

Audits for commercial operations are necessary every two years as I've previously mentioned. If your annual production number meets or exceeds

these numbers that are listed here.

Remember that these audits are to keep your farm eligible for any HPAI indemnity.

If you do have commercial status in the state of Minnesota,

but your production numbers are less than what is shown here you may still be asked to complete the audit,

which you can decline. However,

the standard hasn't been set yet of what will happen if there if you do file for HPAI indemnity.

The University of Minnesota and the Board of Animal Health are

recommending these biosecurity principles as a best practice

regardless of the size of your operation. There might be producers in

Minneapolis City Limits that only have three or four chickens

and there might be a hobby farmer

in the suburbs that have 50 to 100. Regardless of the size, these Biosecurity

Principles are very solid and they help evaluate and manage

any disease risk that you can have on your farm, regardless of the size of your operation.

So exactly how do you prepare for this audit?

I don't want you to be overwhelmed by having to think about all of the tasks that might be forthcoming in

preparing for it. So first off, there are four documents that I would like you to download and have on hand.

Specifically, if you're the farm owner, the site manager or the designated biosecurity coordinator, read through these documents and be familiar with them.

The first 3 come directly from the NPIP website, which you can find at PoultrImprovement.org.

The first is going to be the Biosecurity Program Standards and the 14 principles.

This is the very best start.....uh.....

place to start in learning what the 14 principles actually are and the further details in

paragraph form, so be prepared to read.

The second document are the Biosecurity Principles Audit Guidelines.

This is a document

that's going to ask some more questions and digs a little deeper into the specifics of each principle. These questions are actually very helpful

when gathering and collecting any of the documentation you might need to submit with your audit.

The third document is the Biosecurity

Principles Audit Form. This is literally the standardized form that's being used across the country

to assess your biosecurity plan and any documentation.

Essentially, this is the "answers to the test"! So, you can go through and if you have

Information, documentation as to why or why not you don't have any of those things you will be more than prepared

for your very first audit.

The fourth document is going to be very helpful, and it comes from the US Poultry and Egg Association. This website actually is

going to take you to a request form in which you will submit a request to receive a one-time download of this

template in order to create a biosecurity plan. This is asking even more questions than what the NPIP

documents list so it will be a really great addition in preparing for your audit

It is a one-time download so make sure that you do download it and save it to your computer and save a hard copy

You can also continues to get help preparing for your audit right here each week

Tune into the U of M poultry YouTube channel and our blog which you can find through the Extension.umn.edu website.

Hopefully by preparing for your audit step-by-step, which is what we will be doing each week,

you're going to be a little less overwhelmed and increase your opportunity for success of having a really great first audit.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to me by email or by phone, which you can find here.

Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next week!
