top 10 embarrassing video game scenes

Cut scenes are important.

Cinematics help tie the story together, and if done right, can help improve the gameplay

on an emotional level, making you feel attached to the protagonist or other characters in

the game's narrative.

Yet, there's always a game you'll come across where after a cut scene, you'll be

like ….did that really just happen?

Or one that leaves you thinking ugh, I'm mildly uncomfortable.

Or ones that you just cringe so much to they become jokes within themselves.

Well, today, we're counting the top 10 embarrassing video game scenes.

Let's jump in.

10 God of War Sex Scenes Let's start off our list with a theme that

runs through most of the numbers on this list - sex scenes that make you feel a little awkward.

Fun stuff.

So, God of War does have some notable sex cut scenes in it, and actually incorporates

them into the gameplay in a pretty smart and comical way (use the earlier scenes with button

pressing editors).

But in God of War 3, when Kratos gives aprohdite a visit, we get a nice serving of cringe as

the goddess offers to help Kratos progress forward in exchange for a good romp.

Despite the fact that prior to him entering, she was in the midst of a seemingly engaging

threesome with two other busty ladies.

Who then watch on and give us a play by play of Kratos and Aprhodites boning.

And then get their own freak on.

So inspirational, you guys.

9 Naked Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 This one makes our list for being flat out

silly, despite many critics claiming they felt it was a nice symbolic touch for Raiden's

character.

And the cheeky camera angles in this one do make for a good chuckle.

Thank god for that conveniently placed soda straw.

8 Mass Effect 3 - Shepard and Traynor's foreplay scene

If you play as female Shepard and decide to make a move on Traynor, you get to engage

in some fully clothed shower foreplay.

Which, you know, makes perfect sense because everyone uses the shower in their underwear,

right?

7 Sonic Gets Some In the vein of awkward romance scenes in video

games, here we have cringe moment that was intended to be tender from the 2006 Sonic

the Hedgehog.

Getting a little bit of a prince charming snow white reversal vibe with this one, guys.

Anyway, this game gets a lot of heat for the narrative strung between it's gameplay - it's

got everything an epic thinks it should have, including an implied romance between a human,

Princess Elise, and our favourite blue hedgehog, Sonic.

6 Far Cry 3 kill your friends for sex Sex or friends?

That's essentially the simmered down translation of this choice you have to make at the end

of Far Cry 3 during the aptly named Hard Choices.

So prior to making the choice and slitting some throats, Citra tries to talk you into

joining her but inexplicably saying she'll get her freak on with you.

If you choose to kill your friends and join her, you'll be presented with a naked Citra

chanting while you grunt away away.

And then she stabs you.

Cause all she needed was you to get her preggers.

Bros before hoes, guys.

This one makes our list not because it's embarrassing to watch, but it's a little

embarrassing if you chose it, only to then realize you're screwed anyway.

5 Anal Probing Randy - South Park The Stick of Truth

Here's a scene that may not be embarrassing to you, but might definitely get you feeling

a little awkward if you're playing around someone who is on the prude side.

Or a parent.

Probably might wanna pause before this if you're around a parent.

Anyway,

4 Car hitting Jason in Heavy Rain THE IMPACT WOULDN'T OF KILLED HIM DAMNIT.

3 Bayonetta - Let's Dance Boys Ah yes, a dance sequence.

So very necessary, right?

And it's jam packed with all of the butt shake shots you could ever have wanted.

And outfit changes.

I mean, not hating for wanting to bust a move, but the fact that it goes on for SO DAMN LONG,

well, damn.

I guess hey, if if floats your boat, you enjoy that dance party reward, friend.

You do you.

2 Ride to hell retribution sex scenes Starting with the line "this girl can do

a lot more than start an engine", this particular sex scene from Ride to Hell retribution gives

us some fully dressed cropped before the crotch action.

Trucker hat included.

Compared to some of the other cut scenes on our list, this one is fairly short, sandwiched

with some dialogue bits, but falls in tune with the majority of the other sex scenes

in the game.

Yes, there's multiple, and in diverse locations too!

One being on a pool table.

Still fully clothed.

THEN there's a five some.

AND NO ONE IS NAKED.

Personally, I love that they all have the same stereotypically hilarious sexy soundtrack.

1 Please Stop Tidus From Final Fantasy X, we have a scene that's

gotten pretty infamous over the years between two beloved characters.

Tidus and Yuna.

What starts off as a touching moment goes into some serious cringe territory.

Tidus laugh makes me fee like someone is dying.

My name is Theofilos Bakirtzidis and I was born in 1971 in Thessaloniki

My first guitar was a gift from my grand mother

and this is how I started taking to music.

At the same time I was working at my father's smelting works,

so I was familiar with metals alongside with molds, which were from wood. At the same time I was working at my father's smelting works,

In the long run, I decided to leave Thessaloniki and move to Kissavos mountain,

and use the knowledge I had on wood and metal on electric instruments,

mainly electric guitars,electric bass.

I chose to come to Kissavos, because the rhythm of life is different from the city

and at the same time here exists the prime material, of which I believe in gathering it on my own from the forest.

There is a great variety in trees. There are maple trees, ash trees, olive trees,

black mulberry, woods, that I use on my instruments.

but my favorite wood is the thunderstruck chestnut tree

because when thunderstruck, the wood becomes very special,

it takes properties not similar to those alive, it gives more open sound and better audibility.

My personal aim as a manufacturer of musical instruments was to create my own instrument,

following my own ideas and innovations.

And so, I started to experiment with woods, the combination of different woods,

what kind of electric items they will have on,and οn how to vary the sound with natural means,

not digitally, as I really appreciate the logic of vintage instruments.

And this is how I started experimenting with musical instruments.

The innovation which I have made on the electric guitar is a variable resonator.

This allows us to hear it, on one hand as a solid body electric guitar

and by moving the wood piece outwards releasing more space in the resonator,

the sound turns into that of an acoustic guitar sound, to that of a semi hollow.

Always in a natural way, with no digital means.
