F1 in schools, The Formula One In Schools STEM

Challenge is an engineering and design-learning

project for students, implemented in high

schools all around the world. With more than 20

countries participating from Europe, north and

southern America, Africa, the middle-east and

Australia, the international competition has a very

positive implication for all students involved.

The main mission of this competition is to help change the perceptions

of engineering, science and technology by creating a fun,

enjoyable and exciting environment for students to explore the

careers in engineering, marketing, science and technology field.

F1 in Schools the only global multi-disciplinary challenge in

which teams of students aged 9 to 19 deploy CAD/CAM software

to collaborate, design, analyze, manufacture, test, and then

race miniature compressed air powered balsa wood F1 cars.

The challenge inspires students to use IT to learn about physics, aerodynamics,

design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing,

leadership or teamwork, media skills and also financial strategy, and

apply them in a practical, imaginative, competitive and exciting way

The main purpose of this sponsorship application

from behalf of your party is to seek for assistance

in the financial aspect specifically. The

financial support shall be put to use to fund for

For the first aspect is prototype's manufacturing and engineering materials

3D printer that used to make the front and rear wings of our car model.It

is very important to have this thing to compete in

the competition.And the estimated cost is RM 4000.00

Second is tyres and bearing .These part are the

most important because the lightest tyre can

increase the car speed to win this competition.Also

the bearing, the high quality bearing

is the ceramic bearing .This bearing can help

the rotation of the tyres to create the best

acceleration.The total cost for bearing is RM

352.00.And the cost for tyres is RM 720.00

Third ,metallic paint is used to paint the car model to

make the car looks great.The estimated cost is RM 300.00

Second aspect is attire or garments.We planned to make t-shirt,corporate shirt and

caps to promote our team identity to others.And the estimated cost is RM 600.00

Third aspect is marketing's requirements.We planned

to make brochure , banners and merchandise

to get more attraction from any company and other

people.And the estimated cost is RM 5000.00

The last aspect is multimedia.And the estimated cost is RM 1000.00
