It was a normal day

and i was going about with my professional work

when a message from Anandan changed everything

He sent me 2 pictures

which resulted in the following video

I couldn't make it to the station in time

which meant i had to miss the 9:20 pass

and it resulted in me boarding the Rajya Rani

praying against hope

Anandan was supposd to join me in this train

but unfortunately missed it

I am on my way to Maddur

hoping to catch the CRS inspection of Ramanagara Yeliur Double Line Electrification

we meet the train which was announced at Bidadi

Ramanagaram was the end point for Electric Traction until today

Channapatna is seeing some station rework

which means the over head wires have not been put up

on the Mysore - Bangalore up line

The CRS will be carried out only on this line on which we are traveling right now

There is also a road over bridge work going on at the station

That was one smoking exit from Channapatna

and also observe the overhead wires

coming back on the up line

Abhishek Abhi joined me here for the CRS spotting

This super fast was totally forgotten

because of CRS

Next up was basava

Anandan arrived Maddur in this

We also learnt that CRS was yet to reach Yeliur

whihc inturn resulted in late running of Rajya rani and Basava

The trains were nearly 60 minutes late and were held at intermediate stations

which also meant my plans of catching the return Basava Express may not come through

Jaipur gave us a surprise there

I was suppose to board a train which will depart now The Basava Express

CRS is yet to arrive Yeliur

Luckily Akshay and Balaji are there, they are keeping us updated

I hope the CRS returns back before Rajya Rani

so that i can reach back

around 6

and that is the honk of Basava departing Maddur

Finally some good news

just got the confirmation that CRS has reached Yeliur

They are reversing the loco right now

Hopefully in some time they will send it back

and i can return back by Raya Rani

And yes i am walking on the old broad gauge single line alignment

Malgudi arrived next and still there was no update on CRS

we were also feeling Hungry by now

so we decided to head back to the station to see if we will get anything to eat

Abhi told that this is the famous

or should i say which used to be famous

100 year old Maddur vada railway stall

sadly they have been shut now

It was almost time for RR ( Rajya Rani )

i dont think we will be able to board it

We were expecting the CRS but we got this

Atleast something with a panto came

And there goes my dream of boarding te Rajya Rani as well

No idea what went wrong

The Rajya Rani is still waiting here

Some people tired to board the Rayja Rani

but they couldn't make it

and as rajya rani was moving away

Tippu arrived from the other end

As soon as Tippu moved out of sight

the moment arrives for which we are all waiting for

The CRS special was made to stop for some time

as Rajya Rani had to clear the block section ahead

As we were packing up, the passenger arrived

which meant

we had to run nearly around 500m

Finally on the platform

the same thing happened with the CRS and the Passenger

So what does that mean

that is completion of Electrification of Yeliur & Ramanagaram

Well it will not bring a sea of change on the Bangalore Mysore stretch

but it will help the Railways to run MEMU trains right upto Mandya

which will also help the commuters who travel daily

up and down between these small palces to Bangalore

Apart from that

there are possibilities that freight trains may run with Electric locos

upto Setihally or Maddur which are goods unloading points

Now this MEMU is running only uptp Ramanagaram

If this is extended to Mandya, the huge crowd on Chamundi can be reduced

Well the day ends with the same Bleed Blue twins

which i spotted in the morning

If you are looking to plan your wedding fast you are going to need a clear vision.

A clear vision of what it is that you want.

You going to have to take the time to figure out what you want. (most important step)

When I was planning my wedding back in 2006, seems so darn long ago. I knew exactly what I wanted.

I had a clear vision of what I wanted.

I was able to plan my wedding in three months. I know its crazy, but I did it and it was AWESOME!

You are the CEO of your wedding. Most people don't treat their wedding like a business but you should.

Your Vision is like you business plan.

I know you may be thinking you don't know how to run a business and that is Okay.

I am going to show you how to execute your vision so that you can plan your wedding efficiently. (stick with me)

So what you need to do is take the time to figure out exactly what you want.

When you are clear with what you want it makes planning your wedding so efficient and easy.

That come even before the budget.

The budget doesn't have to be as complicated as you may think.

All you need to know is where you are getting the money from and how much your vendors are going to cost.

You put those two together and that is how you come up with your budget.

For me when I was planning my wedding

I knew How much money I was going to be spending.

I knew exactly what I wanted, I was going back in fourth between a Church wedding and Destination wedding.

In the end we decided to have a Church wedding, a traditional wedding, which my husband and I funded ourselves.

I was able to execute because I had a clear vision of knowing what I wanted.

And I knew how much I would be spending.

You need to decide where you are getting your money from.

Will you be funding your wedding yourself? Will you be taking out a loan, raising capital, or getting sponsored by a family member?

Or Will someone be chipping in to help pay?

Like a parent or a sponsor?

Think about where you are getting your money from.

Then you need to decide how much is your vendors going to cost.

When I mean vendor I am talking about your photographer, videographer, transporation, invitiations and more.

Your caterer, your florist.

All of those things are going to add to make up your budget.

Your details.

When you get specific about what it is that you want. It will make your wedding planning so easy.

Then you are going to track your expenditures.

Then you will be able to execute it.

The better you are with executing with your budget and knowing what you want the easier it will be planning.

Execution and purpose

Once you have a clear vision and you have your budget you are going to merge those together.

In this stage all your details will be coming together.

You will be deciding where you will be having your ceremony, location, all of those fine details.

All of those fine details will star to come into play.

You will begin to ask the questions of Why you are making the decisions you are making.

It will bring you back to your core of why you are choosing the location, Why you will have 150 guest, and how you are going to show all of these details.

And what it is to you that speaks your truth of your wedding.

And your purpose of your wedding will show up here.

You will also ask the questions of the when, the why, and the how of all your details. And will come together and that is how you will plan your wedding fast and efficiently.

Now I know it sounds like a lot.
