HOW ORGANIZED SEXUAL ABUSE HAS STAYED UNDER THE RADAR FOR SO LONG - Duration: 9:01.
HOW ORGANIZED SEXUAL ABUSE HAS STAYED UNDER THE RADAR FOR SO LONG
An episode of Dr Phil aired recently in which a woman spoke about being born into sexual
slavery.
She talked about her life having been sexually abused from before she could talk right through
to adulthood.
An owner had control of her, and sold her to wealthy clients for sexual/sadistic
abuse and torture.
People have had mixed reactions to this.
A number of people seem to have taken Kendalls story on board and believe her, and consider
this information in light of several other stories that have brought to light the reality
of organized sexual abuse.
To scratch the surface in the mainstream media:
4,444 victims: extent of abuse in Catholic church in Australia revealed
Massive paedophile ring uncovered by police in Norway after arrest of 51 men
Fifth man charged with dressing up as an animal and raping a small boy as part of sick furry
fetish pedophile ring Massive online pedophile ring busted by cops
Worlds largest paedophile ring uncovered Some people do not believe her, and are unwilling
to entertain the possibility that organized groups with a lot of money could be engaged
in such practices.
I completely get that.
I dont want it to be true either.
My work with sexual abuse victims, however, has opened my eyes to a horrific reality that
exists in our world including in small, everyday communities in Western society, where
people would never imagine this is happening.
I have met people who were prostituted by family members for money, trafficked through
gangs, and abused by groups of trusted people.
For these women and men to even be sitting in front of me ready to talk, they have to
have already (mostly) overcome the overwhelming fear that they will be found and killed for
telling the truth about what happened to them.
Abuse like this is so incredibly horrifying to experience, that the shock of it alone
can be enough to fear any possible repercussions for trying to get away or reach out for help
once they are away from the abusers.
Many people who live through sexual /sadistic abuse cannot bring themselves to talk about
what happened because they fear no-one would believe them.
How has this widespread problem existed in relative secrecy for so long?
I believe there are a few elements to this.
Physical Control by Perpetrators
Perpetrators go to great lengths to cover their tracks.
This can mean ending someones life in some cases.
Other sexual abuse victims can be kept in slavery and never given the opportunity to
escape.
Mental Control by Perpetrators
For those for whom there may be a possibility of escape, perpetrators will use skilled manipulation
to keep a victim terrified and under control.
People or animals may be killed in front of them, to demonstrate what will happen if they
dont comply or ever try to escape.
Other abusers who harm children who are still living in the community may make threats while
carrying out the abuse, like: If you ever tell anyone, I will kill your Mother/baby
brother/best friend, or If you try to talk about this, I will do to your little
sister what I have been doing to you.
Other manipulative words focus on the victim being the one who is to blame for the abuse.
Some perpetrators tell the one they are abusing things like: You are dirty and this is
your fault, or If you didnt look like that I wouldnt be doing this to you.
In the case of Kendall, she was told You were born for this purpose and nothing
in her life proved otherwise.
Manipulative words have the potential to sink in and become belief systems.
Victims can feel either too afraid to talk because of what the abuser will do, or they
can believe that it is their fault and no-one would offer them help anyway.
Abusers whose victims still live in the community have usually gone to great lengths to establish
themselves in positions of authority and trust.
The perpetrators of abuse on these children are usually known to them or their family,
but trusted because of the position they hold or their ability to manipulate the parents
into believing they are good people.
This can make it even harder for victims to speak out, because people react with disbelief
because it does not fit the picture they have built in their minds of the alleged perpetrator.
The more well-established this positive picture is in peoples minds, the harder it is to
get someone to believe that the perpetrator would actually do something like that (think
Jimmy Savile, Rolf Harris, and Bill Cosby).
A huge step for victims of sexual abuse is finally making the decision to reach out for
help and speak to someone about what happened to them.
For some, this has happened after a big internal battle where part of their conditioning tells
them they are worth nothing and they dont deserve any help.
A small voice inside, however, is saying No, its not okay for this to happen to anyone
and this is the voice I hope they listen to.
Failure to be Believed
Sexual abuse perpetrators and human traffickers know that most people are good, decent people,
who would never dream of committing rape/sexual abuse, or sadistic torture.
They exploit this fact to the utmost degree.
Many victims who have spoken out about being abused/trafficked/tortured have been met with
utter disbelief.
It is so incredibly hard for a person to have lived through what a sexual abuse survivor
has lived through, have fought a battle to find the courage to talk about it, only to
be dismissed.
Why Does This Happen?
Why do good people sometimes fail to believe victims of sexual abuse?
For many people, it is actually too much to believe that this is happening, and happening
to great numbers of people.
Of course we all want there to be another explanation.
But where are all these women and children who go missing every day?
Where are they?
I have listened to people whose parents didnt believe them ask me why.
Why didnt they believe me? It is such a heart-breaking question.
One of the ways I have tried to make sense of it has been by looking inside myself.
There was a stage as a newly practicing therapist when I wasnt sure I could do a job where
my sole focus would be to work with people who had suffered sexual abuse.
I knew that I would have to be there with them, fully present and with an open heart,
holding space and helping them work through the depths of their pain, and I didnt know
if I could do it.
What I have found through working in mental health is that sexual abuse is happening everywhere.
People like me had to learn how to face our fear and help anyway, even if we thought we
might cry.
Because if not us, who?
If not now, when??
This is why I think that people sometimes turn away from victims and do not believe
them; because they are not ready to face that amount of pain.
They are not ready to accept that humans do this to each other, or would do that to their
own child.
Maybe they have no explanation for why humans do this to each other, so because they cant
rationally understand it, they reject it.
Maybe they are not ready to accept that we live in a world where this is happening every
day, by people in all levels of society, because that is far too horrifying.
It is time for us all to realize that this is happening.
Widespread sexual abuse and human trafficking is a reality in our world today.
To help the ones who need our help now, or may one day reach out to us, we as a collective
need to learn how to face this painful truth, with all the emotion it brings up in us.
When we can turn toward our own painful emotional reactions with acceptance and compassion,
we can begin to come to terms with what is happening.
Doing this helps us learn how to nurture ourselves with love through our own pain, and we then
feel more compassion and empathy for those who are suffering around us.
This is how we as humanity can come through this as a whole, in support of each other.

REVENTANDO BUFFETS | WOK | +5000 KCAL - Duration: 9:37.
You could do the same thing as in «Bite the pasta» restaurant but in another buffet, such as a wok, hahahaha
<-- I DONT KNOW HIM
TWO ALPHAS FACE TO FACE
BOTH OF THEM KNOW
THAT THE OTHER ONE IS LETHAL
DESTROYING BUFFETS SERIES
WOK BUFFET, THE GUIDE
What's up, guys? What are you up to? We've come to a wok to do evil things.
Meat... There are more expensive things but at least I didn't get really cheap stuff.
[ AVOID RICE, PASTA AND FRIED FOOD ] Fuck! What a crappy knife! Fuck!
Damn, man. It's the least sharp knife... OMG, man. This video will be 35 minutes at least.
OMFG. The challenge will be to cut the meat. Oh, boy. This is killing me.
I've got mostly beef and prawns in this journey. And some sushi, not a lot because it is cheap.
- I'm gonna get you a saw knife. - Hell yeah!
[ GET A SHARP WEAPON ]
Woah, man! Now! My cousin is great! Oh, boy. Now they can be scared as fuck.
Rare.
My system... because I've got a system for each kind of buffet.
In woks, I start by grabbing meat and fish and take it to the cooker. While it's being cooked I get another plates to my table.
So in the end I have 4, 5, 6 plates ready to eat without having to stand up.
I'll repeat it 3 or 4 times and that's it. [ DONT QUEUE AT THE GRILL ]
Tell me if you see something really expensive.
Spring rolls... rice... don't take all those things. You can eat them at home and spend one buck for a bag.
Here it's about getting the most expensive food if it is tasty.
I wouldn't eat the prawns if they taste like shit, even if they're the most expensive prawns in the world.
I was robbed a plate of prawns at the grill. Do you see a lot of prawns here? There were more.
I had prawns skewers to eat faster. Mi idea was to eat those while I peeled the other ones. [ I'M SO CLEVER ]
I learnt the lesson. I have to get one or two extra plates and that's it.
I took 3 plates to the grill. Can you imagine if I took only that one?
Fuck!
Another one for me... with ice, please. I can't stand when they bring to me coke without ice.
I can't understand it. If it was frozen at least...
It's hard to reach 5000 here. It's easy if you start grabbing chorizo but...
...if you eat clean food... I'm fucking unlucky because I should eat 5000 today.
If I don't reach the 5000 I will have to eat something else because I am losing weight... by the minute...
They took the empty plates. I'll not be able to make the Eiffel tower.
- Are you gonna grab more things?
Hahaha, my cou... sorry. My cousin asks me if I'm gonna grab more things.
- I thought you were full already. - Hahaha. Really? It's not possible. You must be joking.
- More meat? - More everything. Meat for sure.
- Do you want me to get more meat? - Yeah!
- How many? - Three. Rare.
[ GO WITH PEOPLE THAT EAT LESS THAN YOU ]
My cousin is so great!
15 euros, drink not included. Comment if you think that it is possible to make the lose money or if you think that I made it.
The beef must be the most expensive thing. Maybe someone can make them lose money, but it's really hard.
I'm ok. Like if I've just finished the starters. I will have a look at the buffet and see what's going on.
Do you want me to bring you some food, cousin? My cousin eats really little. I'm worried.
- He ate 4 plates. Are you feeling fine? - I am depressed.
He's too pale. Ok, I'm going for a walk.
[ I connected the microphone in a wrong way in this part. I do apologise ]
- I will get some orange. - Orange?! Fruit?!
Please, show that to the camera. They're gonna flip. It's not possible.
When I go to buffets and I see the salads zone, I always wonder
Is there really people that goes to eat outside, goes to a buffet and makes a fucking salad for themselves?
Same thing about orange... Orange! 5kg (10lbs) cost one euro in my town.

I still remember
When I was still courting you
Going every night just to see you
Just to see
a glimpse of your smile
Then, telling you
"Tomorrow at seven, where we allways met"
My day is complete
just hearing the melody of your voice
I don't even know where are you
Without even any communication
waiting for you all night
Because you are my life
If you wonder...
that my love will change
Just leave that thougth
Because I'm still expecting so many christmas for us
Even when you won't be able to reach the floor
Even when you won't be able to hear me
You will still be, my life
I still remember
When I was dreaming you
escorting you, picking you up
Even if stars is what I have to reach
If you wonder...

Just leave that thougth
Because I'm still expecting so many christmas for us
Even when won't be able to reach the floor
Even when you won't be able to hear me
You will still be, my life

SpaceX Reused a Rocket! - Duration: 4:51.
SpaceX seems like they're always in the news, whether it's for landing rockets or
exploding rockets or planning to send people to the Moon.
But this week, they accomplished another first in the history of spaceflight: They're the
first private company to ever reuse a rocket big enough to send things into orbit.
And if they can keep doing it, the cost of getting to space could drop by a lot over
the next few decades.
It costs tens of thousands of dollars for every kilogram you send into space.
But a lot of that price tag doesn't go toward fuel, like you might expect.
Building rockets is expensive, and each flight generally gets a brand-new one.
The only program to reuse orbital-strength rockets was the Space Shuttle, and it still
didn't reuse all of its parts — it needed a new one of those giant orange external tanks
for every flight.
But back in 2015, SpaceX started trying to land rockets' first stages, the biggest
and most expensive part of the rocket, on drone ships out in the ocean.
There were a couple of early failures, but since then, they've had a pretty solid track
record of landing rockets exactly where they want to — whether that's on a ship out
in the ocean, or on a launch pad on land.
They still don't land every part of the rocket, but they can recover far more than
any other company has before.
And last week, after months of repairs and safety checks, they refilled a rocket that
landed last April, strapped a communications satellite to the top, and sent it back into
space.
No company's ever reused an orbital-strength rocket before, and they did it less than a
year after the first launch.
In typical SpaceX fashion, they also landed the reused rocket, although they won't be
using it a third time — they're just planning to put it on display.
Again, no one had ever landed a rocket like this before SpaceX did it in 2015, and now
it's becoming this normal, routine thing.
The mission didn't go completely perfectly, though.
For the first time, SpaceX also tried to recover the $6 million payload fairing — the cone
at the top of the rocket where the satellite sits on its way up.
They attached a parachute and some thrusters to help stabilize it on the way down, but
they only got half of it back intact.
Still, not bad for a first try!
SpaceX founder Elon Musk says the next goal is to go from landing to relaunch in less
than 24 hours.
Like a lot of what he says, it's a pretty ambitious target.
But the guy's basically Tony Stark, so I wouldn't doubt him just yet.
SpaceX eventually wants to send humans all the way to Mars.
But even though we've never sent people there, we have sent lots of robotic explorers.
And one of them, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, or MRO, just completed its fifty thousandth
orbit around the Red Planet.
And it's still going strong!
The MRO has accomplished some pretty remarkable things since arriving at Mars back in 2006.
It's photographed over 99 percent of the Martian surface, including high-resolution
shots of about 3 percent.
All those pictures have created incredibly detailed maps that scientists use to watch
for environmental changes over time and to find safe landing targets for rovers like
Curiosity.
The high-resolution photos also showed why the Phoenix lander stopped working back in
2010.
It might not look too impressive in an image like this, until you remember that the lander
was less than 6 meters across and these pictures were taken from orbit.
Scientists saw that the lander's solar panels were damaged by the Martian winter and fell
off -- something they might never have known for sure without the MRO's eye in the sky.
And speaking of landers and rovers: We wouldn't have heard nearly as much from them without
the MRO.
It can process and transmit data ten times faster than anything else around Mars, so
it acts like a booster for signals between Earth and the rovers and landers all around
Mars.
Ever marvelled at data sent back by a rover like Curiosity or Opportunity?
You probably have the MRO to thank for it.
And then there are all of the MRO's other scientific instruments, which have revealed
just how diverse Mars's surface is, and how watery it used to be a couple billion
years ago.
Because of the MRO, we also discovered that Mars still isn't completely dry: Back in
2015, MRO was the first spacecraft to detect direct evidence of water flowing on the Martian
surface.
And with its instruments working as well as ever, the MRO shows no signs of slowing down.
Just last month, the MRO measured the age of one of Mars's biggest volcanoes, sent
back stunning pictures of a canyon longer than the United States, and watched a pair
of dust storms sweep across the planet.
So 50,000 orbits in, the MRO is still teaching us more about our planetary neighborhood every
day.
Can't wait to see what we learn in the next 50,000!

Trump Threatens Paul Ryan: Pass Healthcare Or Lose Your Job As Speaker - Duration: 3:51.
With all of the craziness that has gone on this week, it's likely that you missed a story
that's actually pretty important.
On Wednesday evening, there was a meeting at the White House between White House staffers,
including Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, and Vice President Mike Pence, and House Republicans,
including Paul Ryan.
Now, during this meeting they discussed what to do about the healthcare fiasco that they
have created.
As it turns out, neither the White House, nor Republicans, and House of Representatives
want to give up on their plans to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
It just turns out none of them have any ideas on how to actually do that.
Ryan Priebus did issue a warning to Paul Ryan during that meeting, and this is what's very
important to this story.
They hinted at the fact that Trump has suggested that if Paul Ryan does not succeed in passing
a Republican created healthcare plan, he will very likely lose his speakership position.
We also learned, earlier this week, that Donald Trump had told the current president of CNN
that, "I'm good at getting even with people," something to that effect.
That's exactly what we're seeing happen right now with this whole Paul Ryan healthcare fiasco.
Donald Trump ran on the platform of repealing and replacing Obamacare.
Said he was going to do it day one, is going to be one of the first things he signs.
Now that Paul Ryan and the Republicans in the House have failed in their quest to repeal
and replace, Donald Trump is also feeling the sting in his poll numbers and, to be quite
honest, in his ego.
Now he's threatening Paul Ryan, basically telling him, "If you don't do this, if you
don't make me look good, I will get even with you.
I will turn those House Republicans against you and force them to vote for a new House
speaker."
Well, technically, the president can't do that.
But Paul Ryan understands the severity of what Trump and his staffers are trying to
tell him.
He knows that if this healthcare plan, whatever plan they come up with, fails, then he has
failed.
Then he will likely fail in his reelection bid in 2018, and that is exactly what he deserves
at this point.
However, there's two sides to everything, and if you oust Paul Ryan as Speaker of the
House, probably going to get somebody much, much, worse.
That's what happened when John Boehner resigned, and then we got Paul Ryan.
Boehner was horrible, Paul Ryan is worse.
Paul Ryan is worse, his replacement, especially if handpicked by Donald Trump and promoted
by Donald Trump, is going to be an absolute disaster for the United States and for the
rights of the American public.
The only thing we have going for us is that, after the 2018 midterms, it might not even
be Republicans who get to choose the Speaker of the House.
If things keep going this way, it will be Democrats in control of the House in 2018,
or should I say, after the 2018 election.
Donald Trump also understands that, Paul Ryan understands that, and all Trump staffers know
that.
That's why they're pressing Ryan on this issue, telling him, "Get off your ass, do something
about this, and make us look good.
Because if you fail, you've not only failed this one little test, but you will have failed
the entire party," and essentially cost them the House in 2018.

Let your DONG Flag Fly! -- DONG - Duration: 4:43.
Hey my name's Michael and your watching the DONG channel here on Youtube.
I have been traveling the country with Brain Candy live. It has been amazing. I've met hundreds of you
every night and it makes me realize how much you all carrotmuseum.co.uk/carrotcolours.
A crunchy DONG, something you can do online now guys.
Put your hands in the air and Flag Waver like ya just don't care.
Cuz this site is a lot of fun.
You can either upload a file or paste a URL of an image and watch it flow in the wind.
There are a few factors to change up like whether the wind is on or off.
You can even choose where it waves from.
Hey look at my DONG flag flapping around.
What a beauty.
It looks good waving from the right, left, top, and Bottom…
North Carolina, Netherlands, and Netherlands Antilles.
These are the three places in the world called Bottom. Us.geotargit.com gives you the chance
to see locations in the world that share a common city name.
Where are you from?
I'm going to assume you're from Planken, Liechtenstein because it has a whopping population of less than
500 people.
Oh look there are four places in the world named Planken.
Two in Belgium, one in Liechtenstein, and one in Germany, which of course is not near the North
or South Pole. Those poor poles get treated so poorly by the Mercator projection.
But on Mercator Extreme, you can give them better treatment.
You can avoid cutting off thousands of miles short of the poles which is the case in normal Mercator
projections, by using this map to display the infinite magnitudinal distortion as you look
further away from the equator.
If you write in the coordinates of the South Pole this feature of the map is kind of...well it's not great
because it's difficult to detect distortion when looking at an abyss of ice.
However, if you plug in somewhere like Nairobi, Kenya this distortion becomes much more evident.
Look at the sizes of the houses and buildings closer to the equator, and now look at them
closer to your chosen location.
These are some big buildings.
In fact even bigger than spain...but of course not in real life. That's just an effect of the map's distortion.
Zoom in and then out to see the distorted poles relative to the more accurately sized
objects close to the equator.
Now let's roll this map back into a globe
For 2050.earth which actually looks nothing like the map we just saw.
This site has collected predictions from artists, scientists, and more, and consolidated them
here.
Click on the yellow hexagons to see where cities, objects, and events of the future
are visualized by someone.
White hexagons only show predictions.
For example if you click on this one you can see a prediction that in 2040 there will be
a large amount of new micro-satellites travelling through our solar system.
My prediction is that in the next few seconds you will go to
Spectrum Analyzer which is an interesting way to see harmonics and frequency intensities.
You can select one of these sounds to see it at work.
Now, look at the violin.
You can see that for each fundamental frequency there are many harmonics as represented by
these brighter areas.
The darker colors are indicative of lower decibel frequencies and are more difficult
for your ears to detect.
Other sounds have fewer harmonics like whistling.
You can upload your own sounds as well but in order to accurately read the spectrogram
you'll need an eye for color so go to
Pickr, a difficult game where you have to select the square that is a different color
from the rest.
Starting at level one can lull you into a false sense of security but don't get too
comfortable because as it goes it gets nearly impossible to distinguish.
But if this was easy for you than you'd probably be a great painter.
So check out fluid paint.
This is just like any other painting site.
WRONG!
The site emulates the texture of real paint using a variety of factors.
Lower quality paint makes it look all gloopy.
And look what happens when you set it to low fluidity versus high fluidity.
You can change the bristle count as well as color.
If your painting doesn't look like mine, well that's just because you are as unique as
the robot you choose on
Robo boogie.
Your originality doesn't stop there because you can make him dance however you'd like.
I'm gonna make his head move left to right more powerfully and have his left arm swing
around like this.
Why not have him thrust his hips around too. Excellent!
Now Robo Boogie is a little known DONG but if you want to
visualize larger DONGs go to Icons of the Web.
Here you can type in the URL of websites and see how popular they are by their size.
Links to all DONGs can be found in the description down below.

Estikay - Gebrochenes Deutsch | Behind The Beat #1 | KimboBeatz - Duration: 4:59.
Hey guys, what's up? I am Kimbo.
Today, I am in my little home studio.
And I am gonna show you how I produced the beat to the track
"Gebrochenes Deutsch" from Estikay's new album "auf Entspannt".
I started this beat with drums.
I took a drum loop, cut it into small pieces to use them with the drum machine.
And it sounds like this...
I got some more hi-hats and percussion on my second sound bank.
The next element is the piano.
It's very simple, only two different chords.
The next element is the bass. It plays an very important role in this beat.
The last melody I added to the beat is layered with 3 different instruments.
The first one is a synth organ.
The same melody with a pad sound.
And another lead synth.
All together...
These are the main elements of the instrumental.
And together it sounds like this...
I hope you guys enjoyed the video.
