So the bar is where I go Me and my friends at the table doing shots
Drinking fast and then we talk slow Come over and start up a conversation with
just me And trust me I'll give it a chance now
Take my hand, stop, put Van the Man on the jukebox
And then we start to dance, and now I'm singing like
Girl, you know I want your love Your love was handmade for somebody like me
Come on now, follow my lead I may be crazy, don't mind me
Say, boy, let's not talk too much Grab on my waist and put that body on me
Come on now, follow my lead Come, come on now, follow my lead
I'm in love with the shape of you We push and pull like a magnet do
Although my heart is falling too I'm in love with your body
And last night you were in my room And now my bedsheets smell like you
Every day discovering something brand new I'm in love with your body
Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I I'm in love with your body
Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I I'm in love with your body
Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I I'm in love with your body
Every day discovering something brand new I'm in love with the shape of you
One week in we let the story begin We're going out on our first date
You and me are thrifty, so go all you can eat
Fill up your bag and I fill up a plate We talk for hours and hours about the sweet
and the sour And how your family is doing okay
Leave and get in a taxi, then kiss in the backseat
Tell the driver make the radio play, and I'm singing like
Girl, you know I want your love Your love was handmade for somebody like me
Come on now, follow my lead I may be crazy, don't mind me
Say, boy, let's not talk too much Grab on my waist and put that body on me

Music Educator - Josephine Ang Interview - Duration: 5:25.
Can you please share with us a little about yourself and your music background?
Well, just like any kid with musical background
I did my piano lessons since 5 years old
and as usual, I completed Grade 8 and ATCL
before I went to pursue a degree in Music Production and Technology
and I did my Masters in Kodaly Methodology.
How long have you been working as a music educator?
This is my 10th year as a music educator.
What inspired you to be a music educator?
To be honest, I never thought of myself being a music educator
When i was 18,
I have always wanted to be a music composer or producer
Which I did become for a very short time
But all along i have been teaching part time
and some years ago, I got acquainted with Kodaly Method
in about 2009, I attended a symposium at UiTM
and I was very amazed by the method
and then, I thought: "Okay, this is the direction I'm going to explore more in music education"
Do you love your job as a music educator?
Of course I do
Why?
Well, first of all, | think teaching is a very interesting job
Because everyday is like a new day
even though I face the same students every week
But, every week is a totally different, new beginning.
and also, teaching is a job that we share and I love sharing alot.
In your perspective, what is the toughest aspect of teaching nowadays?
In general, I think that the kids nowadays are very different from the kids 10 years ago
So, we as teachers, we did not grow up the way they do now
But during my time, there no smartphone
My time as a child, we don't even have Internet
But nowadays, kids are so
There's this word called "Instant Gratification"
So, everything they want is like, you know, eating fast food
So, i think the toughest aspect for a teacher nowadays is to adapt to this fast pace
and also, to adapt to the behaviour of the kids nowadays because they just behave in a totally different way.
not to say that they are worse, it's just different. So yeah, as a teacher, that is tough.
So, since that you have been teaching for 10 years, how did you managed to keep the passion and enthusiasm for teaching?
I do not have to purposely keep the passion because it's just automatic for me.
but, generally, I try to regularly attend workshops on teaching methods or just
any workshop that I can develop myself
and also, I have a group of friends who are music educators as well, from different fields
We usually contact each other and share our stories, problems in teaching
and we help each other
so that's why the passion is always there for me.
Do you mind sharing your teaching methods with us?
My teaching is very much inspired by Kodaly Method.
and recently, I have been attending some Dalcroze workshops
and I also found that it is very useful in my teaching
so, personally, I believe in student centred learning
meaning, student is the centre of the education
and personally, I care about each student's progress
so, I would try my best to cater to the development of each student even though I'm teaching in a group class.
Do you have any advice for the current younger music educator?
as of now what I can think of is that
the younger generation of music educators should keep improving themselves as a musician
and also as an educator
because they are two very different aspects
The other thing, as an aspiring or current music educator, we should always be empathetic
in a way that we should always think what is the best for the students and how to cater to the students' need all the time.
Thank you for your time, and for sharing your experiences as a music educator.

Music Centre Owner - Poven Goh Interview - Duration: 5:20.
kGood morning Mr Poven, I am Sophie, and she is Xiang Yee
Today we will be interviewing you about your music career
Please share with us a little about yourself and your music background.
Alright, I started learning music at the age of 16
very soon I realized that I really loved music so I pursue in music career
but I didn't study music, instead of studying film-making
so because music is part of the film as well
so I thought I can make something out of that
but end up I didn't move on into film career
instead I become a full-time performer
until at the age of thirty I stopped performing already
and I move on into marketing for various international brands
I think after another seven more years
I started this company
How long have you been the owner of a music center ?
I started this Mega Music World since 2013
So I think this is the fourth year
What inspired you to start this business ?
I would say my love to music in general (that) inspired me to start this business
because I have experience in various music industry.
For example like
performing, production, music instrument, marketing and all these things
So I guess setting up a music school, I can have everything here around me.
I think that's the reason that inspired me most
What part of your job that you love the most ?
Being able to edify people through music
is the thing that I love to do most actually.
In your opinion, what is the toughest aspect to own a music center?
The toughest part is
The first thing is I guess is startup capital
Because music instrument doesn't come cheap actually
and to have this is much of facilities
you require a lot of start up capital
and also of a place (that is) good enough
for children and students to come and go.
So I think this is the toughest part.
The second thing is the turn over for a music center business
I think it's pretty slow
comparing to any other type of business.
It doesn't have a trend like going up and down
so is a slow pace business
So I think that is the second toughest thing.
What is your main objective in running a music center ?
My main objective is to use music as a tool to edify people.
That's my answer.
So, what is the range of students in age of this music center ?
The large part of the students here is
all teenager at the age of like 10 to
20 and I think another 20% more is adult.
So, are they any prospective future musicians among your students ?
yeah we do actually yeah I think I have
a couple of students who wish to embark
into music career.
Although they are still in secondary school
but they are ready to go further into
studying music in University
and we also have a number of students who wish
to embark into being an artist I mean in
singing career
Do you have any advice for people who are aspired to start a music center in the future ?
Yeah I do
I guess whoever
they want to start music center
business should have a lot more
should have gained a lot more experience
in various an area for example like
being able to play music doesn't mean
that you are able to do a business so
you need to learn a lot more things like
how to run a business
how to do administration you know
What course are you offering ?
What kind of services that you're providing so
these are all come into place if you
want to start a music center business.
That's all for today.
Thank you again.
Thank you very much.
Thank you for having me. Thank you.
