Hi Caz and Taz!
It's Jo Jo by the way!
I have two questions for you guys! the first one has to do with the fact that ya'll are
in an interracial Australian Couple and I was just wondering um do you guys experience
a lot of backlash for that?
like, racism, how is it? how do you guys bring together each other's cultures, that sort
of thing! and how was it getting introduced to each other's families actually?
snoopy I know but I just have to know!

Great questions! but I guess before we start answering the questions, I'm sure most of
you guys are curious as to know what our backgrounds actually are! um I'm sure you guys already
know where I am from! as you probably would've guessed from the Ghana at 60 vlog.
I'm Ghanaian and for those who don't know where Ghana is it's in west Africa, um in
terms of what Ghanaians are all about!
We're all about music and food and literally just having a good time and enjoying life!
um it's been a while since I've been to Ghana though!
I feel like my last trip must've been about seven years ago! so if I can find some pictures
from that trip I'll put them here! um but be kind um like I said they're from seven
years ago! and a lot has definitely changed! alright! and
in terms of guessing what my background is, I get it all! but I guess before I reveal
it why don't you guys pause this video and let us know what you think down below! alright!
I'm actually Iranian, Persian whatever you'd like to call it, um and I'm sure most of you
guys actually don't know much about Iran!
Iran's a very beautiful country, very friendly people, very hospitable, and Iranians absolutely
love their food!
I'm sure most of you guys haven't seen much of Iran before so what we'll do is we'll actually
include some pictures after this! so now on to the actual question! so as and Australian
Interracial Couple do we experience an backlash?
look we haven't! together! and look Australia is one of the biggest multicultural countries
in the world!
Everyone's from everywhere! and most people are really open to dating anyone from any
background! yeah honestly!
I feel like the worst thing that happens to us which is honestly so minor! in the grand
scheme of things is that people often don't register we're actually in a relationship!
haha like for example, yesterday we went to the store and two separate Sales assistants
came to serve us! it's like they don't even thing that we could possibly be connected!
haha but I think that's all we get which is nothing major! yeah but look of course racism
exists everywhere but look the vast majority of Australians are very open minded! so you
also asked about how we embrace each other's cultures, yeah look what we've realized is
that we're actually very similar! yeah it's all very same same but different! yeah like
we're both really into music and dancing but I feel like our music is a bit more upbeat,
like I feel we just like shake it a lot more i don't know haha yeah and look us Iranians
we love our music as well, I guess our music is a bit more soft, gentle, lovey dovey! just
different! and food wise we're actually quite similar!
We love our rice!
I love my Jelof rice! we love our stews, meat in big portions!
I guess where we're a bit different is that in terms of food, we aren't big fans of spicy
food! yeah um guys we also make a big effort to go to each other's cultural events right?
yeah like we said previously we met an African event!
I go to African events all the time! yeah and I go to all the Persian events too! absolutely
love Persian new year and I go to all Persian comedy shows, all the Persian concerts and
things like that! um so yeah guys it's really not that hard for us to embrace each other's
cultures because honestly we're really not that different! so second question, how was
it like getting introduced to each other's families?
yeah I feel like we've kind of already talked about how we met each other's parents in our
boyfriend tag video! yeah! um so I assume this is more about how our families reacted!
yeah look from my side, it was not an issue at all! my family actually thought it was
kind of cool! and guys my family is already quite the melting pot! haha like in my family
we've got Greek an Italian, Australian, and Chinese so literally we're already so mixed,
it really was not an issue! yeah so guys all in all we really haven't had any problems
with being in an interracial relationship here in Australia! um but if you're in that
situation you'd like some advice or some advice on anything at all make sure you send us your

so guys our next video is going to be different! yeah so we've finally decided it's time for
us to do a challenge! actually let us know what your favorite challenge is! um yeah guys
I'm a little bit scared about the whole challenge video thing! hopefully we survive! um anyways
