Ever since I was a kid I've loved learning about Japan and Japanese culture.

So now I want to share my home and my culture with the world.

Group Video Journal 8 - Duration: 1:36.

This week we went over our "true colors" results.

I like that this assessment didn't just type you into one category, but rated them

from the color that most suits you to where you fall on the spectrum of the other colors.

After taking the assessment my results showed that I typed equally as both blue and green.

I would describe blue as sentimental, emotional and in tune with the feelings of other human

beings.

I would describe green as pragmatic, efficient, and independent.

I can definitely see how the dichotomy of the two apply to me as a whole.

I said in group that I believe my default personality leans more blue.

I have always identified as an empath, I've always been attuned to other's emotions

and in touch with my own.

There is another side of me that is fiercely independent and to the point.

When a situation calls for my "green" side, I'm not afraid to let that part of

me come through.

I feel like this lesson will be beneficial for me in the future because it's another

tool to help me understand myself and how I process difficult situations.

The more that I know about myself, the more I can keep my emotions and beliefs in check

when counseling others.

This assessment can also serve as a tool for future clients.

If I can figure out their "true color" it will give me an inkling as to what positions

and jobs may suit them the best.

All in all, it was another fun group meeting.

I don't ever really get tired of personality assessments.
