Hey Everyone! Welcome back to my channel,

I'm Bethany for those of you who don't know me.

If you guys haven't subscribed already,

I post vlogs weekly, and I'm hoping to do more sit down videos like this in the future.

First I just want to say thank you so much to every single person who has subscribed

and who is watching my videos, I really appreciate it, and I think that it's really cool

that you guys want to come on my journey with me!

So today we are going to so a haul video!

I used to film a ton of haul videos on my old channel (th3heartspeaks).

But I've decided to transition everything over to this channel here,

it's just a little bit easier to manage.

For those of you guys who have been around, you've probably noticed that my background is constantly changing.

I'm sorry about that, I just film at random times in the day, on different days during the week,

so I really have to do what works best.

Today, we just have my nice blank door, and my closet in the background.

Starting off with the stuff that I got from the outlet,

I got this top from Charlotte Russe, and it was only $5!

It's basically just a plain black t-shirt,

it goes just below my bum length wise,

I really like this detail here with the string.

It's a little bit loose, so I'm hoping that it will shrink a little bit when I wash it.

I went to Forever 21 and got this long sleeve here.

I'm really digging this laced sort of look.

On me, this is a little bit low, it just goes below my bra,

so I have to make sure that I'm not wearing a bra that is too bright.

Of course you can never have enough camis!

So I got this cami from Forever 21,

I really like how they have these adjustable straps here.

These were only $2, so I got one in burgundy,

I got one in navy,

and then I got one in white, and one in black.

At Forever 21 I got these sunglasses, which I thought were kind of fun, they were only $8.

I really like Victoria's Secret for bathing suits,

I think they fit so much better than any other brand.

Right now I have one bathing suit from there, and I think the top and bottom there cost me about $75+.

So this is the first one that I got,

it's a halter top, and I really like how it crosses in the back.

I thought that was really fun, and it has a bit of a push up too - which I kind of need.

I also got this bikini top.

I really like the back of this one as well with the cross, I thought that looked really cool.

For both of these, I wasn't able to find matching bottoms for them,

so I'll probably pair them with a black, or maybe denim shorts.

Both of these were only $8 each - that is a STEAL!

I got one pair of bottoms, of course they don't match, but they were really cute.

These are like cheeky bottoms, so I thought that they looked really cute, this was only $8 as well,

and I liked how they have this hole right here.

I really like J. Crew for their statement pieces,

I have one right now, and I got it a couple years ago, and I wear it quite often.

So I wanted to get a new statement necklace. These are a little bit more on the pricey end compared to

something like Forever 21, or H&M.

But the quality really is a lot better, and I like that you don't get that brassy-ness on the chain.

This was $25 for this necklace, it was on sale - it was like 50% or 60% off.

I've been wanting a Kate Spade wallet for a very long time,

so this is normally $120 USD, and it was on sale,

so I got this for $50 USD.

I love the size of it, I think it's just very casual and simple for me to bring to places.

It has tons of places for you to place your cards, little things for coins on the side,

it's just very simple and practical.

And I really liked the burgundy colour too.

Now we're going to move onto all of the fun Disney stuff, which I'm sure a lot of you guys are actually here for!

Oh my goodness, look at how cute this mug is!

I love Winnie the Pooh, and I love baby face sort of characters.

On the back here we have Cinderella's Castle.

I really like getting mugs as souvenirs, I just find that they are very very practical.

And I think that they're a nice momento to have.

Andy's mom collects tsum tsums, she has SO many tsum tsums.

And it's really cute because Andy's dad has made her

a little hose to keep all of her tsum tsums in.

But anyway, she collects them, so I decided to get her a few since I was in Disney World.

I got here Belle,

and then I got her the clock and I got her the teapot from Beauty and the Beast.

These are so cute!!!

I got this mini little foam ball Minnie Mouse keychain.

And then I got myself this Ariel keychain,

look at how adorable she is!

I actually went to a couple different stores cause they didn't have that many princesses available to choose from.

But I am very happy with Ariel.

I love Rapunzel though, if they had Rapunzel I definitely would have wanted her.

But I really really like Ariel too.

I'm super happy with this new Pandora charm that I got,

I really like to get new charms when I'm travelling.

They are a little bit expensive though, considering that you're already spending so much money travelling.

This one here was $70, but I really really liked it and I thought that it was a nice little souvenir to have as well.

I got these frosted pretzels, these are just chocolate covered Mickey Mouse faces,

I got these to share with my coworkers.

I'm hoping that these taste good,

I thought that these would be a nice little souvenir,

these are creamy chocolate dipped coconut patties,

I got a pack of these Disney chocolate bars just to give away to people.

It's hard to think of gifts to give to people when they've already been to Disney World,

but I wanted to give them a little something.

This has 5 different chocolate bars here,

it cost $15 for the whole thing.

They just have different flavours and different pictures on them.

How cute is he?!?!

Oh my gosh, I love him so much...

I didn't know what to get Andy,

and of course I wanted to get him something.

He was like, "just get me a plushie, but only if it's really cute."

I saw this, and I just thought it was adorable,

and I texted him, and I was like, "is it you that likes Baymax, or is it me?"

And he was like, "that's you."

And I was like, "oh shoot."

And I sent him a picture of this and he was like,

"Oh my goodness that's so cute I want it!!!"

This is part of the Disney Babies series,

so they have a bunch of different characters and they are all babies,

and they're wrapped wrapped up in these really cute blankets.

Like that! Look at him! He's like a little burrito!

Pokemon Sun and Moon Theory: Why Are Salazzle Only Female? - Duration: 4:44.

Salandit, The Toxic Lizard Pokemon.

Once this pokemon was first introduced to us back in July everybody and their mother

praised this pokemon and proclaimed that it would be on their team.

And all of us had high hopes for Salandit's evolution and sure enough gamefreak delivered

with this amazingly designed beast of a pokemon, Salazzle.

But a question that has recently surfaced around the salandit line is why are Salazzle

only female?

I mean even the pokedex itself doesn't know.

If you take a look at the pokemon Sun dex entry it states, "For some reason only females

have been found."

Well Ladies and Gents Today I have a Scientific theory as to why Salazzle are only females.

Just remember that this is indeed a theory and not a fact so if this video turns out

to be false then hey I tried.

Now to figure out why Salazzle are only female we are going to have to take a look at what

the pokemon are actually based on.

And it's made pretty clear that salandit and salazzle are based on the salamander, but

in terms of the design Salandit also draws a lot of inspiration from the Japanese Fire

Belly Newt as you can see here.

But whats important here is that we know that the salandit line are in the reptilian family.

In many reptilian species we can see polygamous relationships.

What this basically means is that one individual would get it on with more than one partner.

Most interestingly, this is usually split up by genders.

For example, in the Salazzle line, the females will have multiple mates - a reverse harem

as the pokedex explains.

The dex also explains that the method salazzle's use to find mates is something it shares strongly

with Salamanders; which are another of the inspirations behind this pokemon.

These reptiles are known for using pharamones to attract multiple mates… seriously though,

i have a hard enough time getting one girl at a time; i gotta look into this stuff.

Anyways, aside from sexual practices and pokedex entries, we are mainly looking into why it

is that ONLY the females evolve.

Well, this is basically the pokemon equivalent of our world's sexual dimorphism.

Those fancy words basically mean that the genders of a species have different defining

traits.

There are tons of animals and pokemon alike that have simliar practices; For example we

have angler fish, Pikachu (tails), Lions (pyroars), and a bunch more.

Typically, but not always, in species that have sexual dimorphism inbeded in them the

males are larger, more colourful, and have more exaggerated features (horns, larger feathers,

etc) so it is kind of cool to see pokemon look at a species dominated by females here.

That being said, having larger females can have a LOT of advantages for a species.

Larger females are typically favored by competitive males, especially in polygamous speices...liiiiiike

Salandit.

Larger females also tend to offer an advantage in fertility as well.

Females are larger in many species of insects, spiders, fish, reptiles, owls, birds of prey

and certain mammals like the spotted hyena, and baleen whales such as blue whale.

In many of these species the females also are more attracted to smaller males; which

may be a cause and explanation as to why male salandits don't evolve.

Of course all of this could be just an over complicated explanation but if this is correct,

it's crazy to think that this much science and intelligence goes into a children's

video game.

So as you guys might know

I've been recently uploading sheet music

But before that, I took a six month long hiatus

and I didn't upload anything on this channel

But, while I wasn't uploading things

I was trying to get rid of all of my copyright strikes

and figure out what the heck is going on with this channel

And thankfully,

I've solved all of my copyright strikes

But

There goes another problem

How can I still continue to upload sheet music onto this channel

Legally

So after I got my copyright strikes removed from this channel

I had to figure out

What I could do to upload sheet music again

Without getting anymore copyright strikes

I've tried transcribing anime sheet music videos

I've tried uploading my sheet music to another server

I've even tried getting in contact

with record labels and artists themselves

to see if they would like me to transcribe their sheet music

And to my surprise

I didn't get a response from any of them

So, there's that

And even if I did get in contact with one of them

That's out of

how many people I've contacted?

And even if I got one response back,

That wouldn't be a sustainable way of

keeping this sheet music channel alive

After doing all of that research

I found one website

in which I can transcribe sheet music for you guys

legally

Without worrying about copyright

This website is called: Sheet Music Plus (sheetmusicplus.com)

Problem is, it's not free

it actually costs $5

because that's the lowest price I can actually set it to

But

This is because the majority of the money

that goes into purchasing the arrangement

actually goes to the artists and the record labels themselves

I only get 20%

So it's not even that much

Another problem with this is

I can only arrange specific songs

And the list of the specific songs I can transcribe

will be linked down in the description

And I know this is going to be a bummer for a lot of you

but it's the only way I can upload sheet music

as often as I did before

Without having to worry about Copyright

So, what does this mean?

Does this mean I'll stop giving out free sheet music?

Does this mean I'll only do paid transcriptions?

No

I may be able to post some piano and saxophone arrangements

Only if I get permission

from the original artists to do so

Although the lowest price I can sell the sheet music is $5

I will try my very best

to make those $5

the best $5 you've ever spent

I'm also going to attempt to transcribe

for other instruments as well

I'm also going to try to learn chord progressions

Because I know a lot of sheet music that they have now

They also have chord progressions

So I'm

gonna see if I can learn chord progressions

so I can put them in the sheet music for you guys

Now I know this is going to upset a lot of you guys

I mean, personally, it upsets me too

But, in the end, this is the only way

I can continue to transcribe sheet music

Without the worry of copyright

FAVORITE BOOKS OF 2016! - Duration: 7:56.

Hi everyone, it's Sandy and today I am

doing my favorite books of 2016. In 2016, I've

read like 66 books, which is nowhere

close to the amount of books I've read

for the past two years. I've read over a

hundred books the past two years but

2016 has just been a very busy year. I

have seven books on my favorites list

and one honorable mention so we're just

going to get started. I'm going to be

listing the books from the order of when I

read them so starting from January all

the way to December. The first book on my

favorites list is The Final Empire by

Brandon Sanderson. What I love about this

book is that the world and the plot is just

so complex and intricate. The magic

system is so great. The magic system has

to do with allomancy. In order for

you to use your powers, you have to

drink metal and you can like activate it.

There's just so many different types of

allomantic powers. Brandon Sanderson does

a wonderful job at describing the use of

magic in this book because you can

easily picture what's happening when the

characters are using their powers.

It was a little bit confusing at first

but once you got like the hang of it and

you like start to understand more of

what's happening, it was just so cool to

read about. I do have a review on this

book so if you want to learn more about

what the book is actually about and more

of my thoughts in detail, then I suggest

you check out that review. It is

spoiler-free. The next book on my

favorites list is Lady Midnight by

Cassandra Clare and what I really love

about Cassandra Clare's writing is her

characters. I think she does such a

great job at developing them and having

such a diverse cast of characters and

personally I can never get tired of the

Shadowhunter world. I don't care if she

writes 50 more books that takes place in

the Shadowhunter world, I will read them.

What makes Lady Midnight stand out from the

rest of Cassandra Clare's book is the

family aspect. I love the Blackthorn

family and I love the relationship that

they have with one another. In the past

two Shadowhunter series that Cassandra

Clare's written, the main character would

discover the Shadowhunter world but in

this series our main character, Emma is

already part of the Shadowhunter world.

She's already a Shadowhunter and I think

it was really interesting to read from

a point of view of character who has

already been through like a lot of the

training and already has this Shadowhunter

knowledge in her. And I love seeing bits

of old characters from previous series.

It just made me really happy and

nostalgic. The ending was pretty

heartbreaking and I'm so excited to see

what happens in Lord of Shadows.

really good and I did not think about

any of the things that she mentioned so

suggest you check out her video because

it was so good. I also have a book review

and discussion on this book so I will

to check it out. My next favorite book is

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas and I

have a feeling that I'm going to be

seeing this book a lot on favorites list

as well on worst books of 2016

but for me it's on my favorites list

because I really love the characters and

I really love the romance. I really like

where the romance headed in this book.

After reading the first one, I was pretty

against it but after reading this one,

I'm just totally on board. I just really

like that Feyre and her love interest -

I'm sure everyone knows who this person is

but in case you haven't read this book

yet, I really like that these two people

have so much respect for one another.

Her love interest didn't treat her as if

she's inferior. He lets her make her own

decisions and he supported her. And I

also really like the introductions of

new characters and I'm really excited to

see where the story goes in the next one

because it is the final book and I know

that there are like six books in the

ACOTAR series but the last three books

are spin offs so it won't follow the main

character in A Court of Thorns and Roses.

And again, I do have a book review /

discussion on this book, so if you want

to hear more of my thoughts, I will leave a

link to that video down below. My next

favorite is no surprise because I talk

about it all the time and it's actually

an entire series, and it is The Naturals

series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I really

love the mystery in these books. This book

has to do with serial killers and

solving cases and profiling. Our main

character, Cassie, is a profiler and I

really liked reading about how she

profiles people. I think it's very very

interesting. The whole series has been

compared to Criminal Minds and I

definitely see that similarity. My

favorite in the series is actually the

second book, which is called Killer

Instinct. Each book in the series gets

very complex. In each book, there are

different cases but there's also an

overarching storyline, which I really

like, especially the second book, I think

the author takes serial killing to a whole

new level because you'll think the

serial killer is one person but then the

authors like nope, it's this person, and

then nope, it's this person. It's so good.

The author just messes with your mind.

The author does have advanced degrees in

psychology, psychiatry,

cognitive science, and she's actually a

professor of psychology, which is really

cool, and from reading these books you can

tell that the author knows what she's

talking about. The first book was pretty

good, it wasn't my favorite but I think

it's a good start to the series and I

think the author will continue to wow

you throughout the rest of the books in

the series. My next favorite is The

Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson. I

really enjoyed the first two books but

once I got to the third one, I can say

for sure that this is one of my favorite

series because I love the main character.

I think the main character's development

throughout the entire trilogy was done

so well. I just really admire the main

character and the person that she became

in the third book. She was more vocal and

speaking up. She was defending herself

and not backing down to criticisms. From

the reviews that I've seen on this book, many

people didn't like this book as much,

which kind of makes me sad because I

really love this book and this book is

my favorite in the trilogy. And there was

a lot of action in this book as well,

which I really love reading about and

I'm glad I got the chance to meet the

author when she went on tour for

this book when it came out in August. I

do have a book signing vlog for that

event if you want to check that out. My

next favorite is Gemina by Amie Kaufman

and Jay Kristoff. This is a companion

book to Illuminae, so I didn't think I

would enjoy it as much as the first book

but I ended up really loving this book.

This book was so intense. There was so much action and

I really love the characters, especially

Hanna's character. She was really kick-ass.

I did not want to put this book down and

every time I did, I couldn't stop

thinking about it and I was just

constantly itching to pick it up again. I

recently uploaded a review and

discussion on this book where I go more

in depth. So again, I will link that video

down below. My last favorite book in 2016,

I actually don't have a physical copy, so

I need to get that soon, but it is Every

Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone. I'm

definitely very late to reading this

book but I'm glad I finally did because

it's a new favorite of mine. This book

centers around a main character who has

OCD. I really like the writing. I like how

the author portrayed the main character's

OCD. I like that the auther debunks the

myth that OCD isn't about being a

perfectionist, being neat, or being

organized. I don't have OCD so I can't

say for sure whether the representation is

accurate. I read a bunch of reviews, some

reviews said that it's accurate, other reviews

says it's not, so I can't really say for

sure but the author did mention that she

did extensive research. She talked to

mental health professionals and she also

have a friend who has OCD so she talked

to her friend about her experience with

OCD. Another thing that I really liked

about this book is that the author

include scenes of Sam meeting with her

therapist. Sam's relationship with her

therapist is mainly positive. And I think

it's really important to show that

because I feel like some people have

like negative perceptions of seeing a

therapist. There is nothing wrong with

seeing a therapist and I think it's

really great that the author included

those scenes in this book. So those are

all my favorites in 2016 and now I'm

going to go into the one honorable

mention that I have and that book is

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera. I

love that this book dealt with a bunch

of different topics such as sexuality,

suicide, depression, friendships, and so

much more.

And the characters and their emotions just

felt so real and raw. This book was

really thought-provoking in the sense of

conveying that your experiences and

memories are who you are and you should

not change that. Adam Silvera has a new

book that's coming out in January called

History Is All You Left Me and I'm so

excited to read that. I'm really hoping

that that book becomes a new favorite of mine

and I've already heard so many good things

about it.
