If you've ever been curious about what coffee is, and how it gets from plantation to cup,

Ah, coffee! It's a wonderful thing!
It wakes us up, but can make us jittery, it can be bitter or sweet, it's like a magical bean!
Except that it's not a bean. What?! Yeah, no. Not a bean.
Coffee "beans" are actually seeds that grow in the middle of a cherry, that grows on a bush called a coffee bush.
And! Another fun fact, is they're not brown!
Coffee seeds are actually green until they've been roasted.
So they're not magical beans at all, they're magical green seeds!
Once the seeds have been dried out, they get put into a bag and sent off to the cuppers.
Coffee experts are called cuppers! It's a legitimate career path. How cool is that?
So what the cuppers do is they taste test a variety of different 'beans,' and then mix them, and then create different roasts.
Something else that I learned that I weirdly didn't know before, is that lighter roasts have more caffeine and are more flavourful,
whereas darker roasts are more bitter and have less caffeine.
So once the cuppers have preformed their magic and created the different roasts,
they get send out to consumers where they get ground down, brewed, and poured into your morning coffee for you to enjoy.
Or your afternoon coffee, or evening coffee if you're pulling an all nighter.
I'm realizing that coffee beans are more travelled than I am.
Man I need to get out more!

You kind of are falling off, but you're just on the bottom already, the fall is usually
very quick, you just lose a job.
Some people react to a job loss really positively, like what can I do next?
What would I rather move toward?
Ok this job helped me build these skills, and now I can put them into use and go for
this one.
Other times, people react to job losses really badly.
They think they just can't go forward form here, they think they can't make their bills,
they think they've invested in too many other things and it's really just a bad
thing.
It's ok to think like that for a minute, but in general, you really need to respond
with positive action when you lose a job or something else.
I met a guy recently who lost his job in Wisconsin and decided, "I'm going to move to LA.
When's a better time to do so?"
And he's been here for about three months, and he's had some ups and downs through
that.
But his perspective and attitude towards that job loss actually propelled him to do something,
to do something exciting and interesting, rather than to sit and think, "Man, this
really sucks.
What can I do?" and just look very narrowly around him.
So whether you're at the top of the wheel right now, whether you're climbing or falling
or actually at the bottom, analyze how you deal with each part of the cycle.
When you are falling, think, "Can I fall gracefully?
How can I bring this situation to a close as best as I can so that I can close it all
up and move forward?"
Or if you're ascending, and rising toward the top of the wheel, think, "Am I doing
this with the best intentions?
Am I moving toward what I really want?
Is this job what I want?
Is this relationship what I want?
How am I feeling about this rise?"
So the Wheel of Fortune is actually referring to your fortune at this moment, but it's
also highlighting the perspective with which you view it and relate to it.
