6 Signs You Have Finally Found Your True Soul Mate.

By Dylan Harper.

Your soul mate makes you feel entirely intact, like no piece is missing from the puzzle.

A life partner, on the other hand, can be a great supporter and long-time companion,

but is limited in his or her capacity to enrich your spirit.

We have a certain feeling inside of us that we are completely unable to describe and we

only have this certain kind of feeling whenever we are with them specifically.

There arent any words that you can say that would give the feeling any justice, its

just something that you have to feel for yourself.

Not everyone is able to find this kind of feeling for another person or ever sometimes

depending on who you are.

If you think you have found that amazing other person then you already know what this means

to you.

Youre probably thinking about them the more you continue reading this.

Thats how powerful this feeling is, even when youre not trying to think about them

you just are subconsciously.

Here are 6 signs that mean you have found the one true soul mate that was meant for

you.

1.

You Overcome Everything Together

When you find your true soul mate, there isnt anything that the both of you arent able

of overcoming together.

Sure, there are a lot of hardships or adversity that may have stuck obstacles in your way,

but you both somehow managed to pull everything back together even when you both may have

thought that there was no coming back from this.

You would never find yourself in a situation where youd think youd have to leave

the other person in order to satisfy a piece of their happiness that maybe you werent

living up too.

Despite the many challenges that have been brought before your relationship, you both

took a stand and made sure that the two of you were going to be the last ones standing.

2.

You Can Read Each Others Minds

Maybe not literally reading each others minds, but you both know each other so well that

you pretty much already know what they are going to say, what they want, what they need,

what they were going to do, anything.

This is another way of knowing that you have your one true soul mate.

Even when you didnt even ask them for anything at all, they still somehow read your mind

and bring you the thing that you were needing most in that moment in time.

It comes naturally, not even trying to be close to each other, you both just know whats

going to happen next because it makes you both happy.

3.

Still Yourselves

Regardless of being each others one true soul mate, you both have not lost yourselves

to one another.

Meaning that youre still the same personality type that you were when you first began being

together.

Of course, you both have probably made a lot of changes over the years, but your still

the same people that when you first fell in love.

This doesnt happen in a lot of relationships and in fact some people lose themselves to

the other person entirely.

Its important that you maintain this kind of bond with each other and not try to become

something that either of you are not.

Honesty is a very key element to any type of relationship.

4.

Vivid Dreams About Them

There may even be times where you begin to dream about your true soul mate.

Your love for them is so powerful that you are literally constantly thinking about them

even when youre asleep.

These dreams can be extremely vivid and put in just the right atmosphere.

Of course, it is your brain so you would hope that you would go to a happy place whenever

you think about your soul mate.

Who knows you might have been dreaming about them this entire time and didnt even

know it until just now.

5.

Youre Both Exploring Everything

When you find your true soul mate, there is an overwhelming sense of adventure that sweeps

over the both of you.

This feeling that resonates inside you propels you both into doing things that you might

not have ever saw yourself doing before.

This is one of the signs when you know youve found a love so pure that you both can do

anything in the entire world and youd still both have an undying love for one another.

Youll probably go traveling together a lot, find new places that youve never seen

before, meet new friends together, and everything in between.

Your love fuels the ship and you both are the captains.

6.

You Operate Better When They Are With You

Another huge sign that you have found your true soul mate is when they leave for a long

period of time and find yourself not being able to do as well with things as you thought

you could.

For you, being away from your true soul mate is almost like giving yourself the biggest

distraction from everything else thats going on in your life.

Its not like you dont care about the things youre doing but that you would just

be a lot better off if your soul mate came back to you once more.

Their presence has a strong impact on the things you do because while youre doing

all of those things youre thinking of them.

This is what true love looks like

for soul mates.

♫ (Archie plays guitar) ♫

I got a call from your coach today.

He's under the impression that you can't play Varsity football because I'm making you work for me.

Which is odd, because you made it seem like you couldn't work for me because you were

playing football.

So my first question is, who are you lying to?

Me or your coach?

Neither.

Both.

Dad...

I want to study music.

I want to write music.

Football takes you to college.

College takes you to business school.

Business school takes you -- Takes me back here.

To work for you in Riverdale.

Not for me.

With me.

And eventually for yourself.

Son, the company would be yours.

This Old Couch | Basic Upholstery DIY: How to Re-Cover a Seat Cushion - Tips for Beginners - Duration: 6:36.

(upbeat electronic music)

- People get really worked up about,

what if?

What if it comes out ugly,

or what if I don't know what I'm doing?

Or, what if...

What if, what if, what if.

And I say, it's just a chair.

Nobody's gonna die.

So don't be afraid to get in there

and just see where it goes.

Your chair does not have to be perfect to be fabulous.

So, today we are gonna start with something really simple,

which is what we call a slip seat in upholstery.

A lot at home would just call it a dining-room chair seat.

(medium tempo music with heavy bass)

The very first part of a slip seat

is just to get that seat off the frame.

Step two is that we have to get the old fabric off,

and if I can encourage you to invest

in one piece of equipment as a hobbyist,

it's going to be a good staple remover.

A lotta times you see people trying to get

that fabric off with a screwdriver,

but a staple lifter, it's going to save you a lot of time.

And with that we should be able to do a pretty quick job

of getting that old fabric off of there,

and seeing what's underneath.

You wanna take a good look at the padding that's underneath.

Sometimes you're gonna be able to keep it,

and, if you can, you can skip this part entirely.

But ours are pretty old, and, because it's an antique,

we usually use something pretty low profile,

and that's just one inch of a foam,

but it did come from a foam supplier,

so it's higher density than what you'd get

at a craft store or a fabric store.

(pressurized can spraying)

But I'm gonna cut my foam 1/2 inch bigger

than that board all the way around,

so when I tension my fabric around,

I don't end up with fabric hitting wood.

I'm gonna use a foam saw,

'cause I got one.

(pressurized can spraying)

I'm gonna spray it with silicone,

so that it'll cut nicely for me.

(electric saw blade moving rapidly)

The best at-home version

is an electric, turkey-carving knife.

(electric knife whining)

All right, we're also gonna add

a layer of polyester batting,

and that just helps, couple things.

Takes kinda that flatness off the new foam,

and it also protects the foam and the fabric

from one another.

(pressurized can spraying)

And this, we are going to trim

just 1/2 inch past that edge as well.

Once we're ready for fabric,

we need to measure how big that fabric needs to be.

(medium tempo electronic music)

And now what we're gonna do

is go right up over the top of this.

We're gonna start at where we intend to staple.

You can tell where the old staples were,

so we'll start there.

Let's go all the way around to the other side

at the widest point, because, like most chairs,

this does get narrower at the back.

Then we are going to add two to three inches on each side.

And same thing this way.

Once that's cut, I'm gonna mark the centers, front and back,

and I'm gonna do the same thing on my board.

I am using a pneumatic staple gun.

If this is the only thing you're ever going to upholster,

you can get away with

the ka-chunk, ka-chunk, ka-chunk manual staple gun,

but if you intend to do much more than a slip seat,

it's gonna be worth investing in a good,

pneumatic staple gun, designed to the task.

I'm gonna line up my centers, and give myself a placeholder.

So, just get things oriented.

That center staple, if that tension feels good,

I can just leave it, but I actually think,

I think now that we can pull that a little snugger.

So, we're gonna go to that front.

We're gonna pop that staple,

and we are going to re-tension that.

When people ask me, when students ask me,

how tight should I pull, I usually just say,

as tight as you can pull snug.

Once we have that center, we're gonna work our way out.

I'm not gonna sit here and pull,

and pull, and pull, and pull.

I'm gonna try and grab a handful,

and use my other hand to smooth it in.

So we're gonna work in bigger sections.

I'm pulling this way, and I'm pulling out that direction.

Step one for having a nice-looking corner,

is just that you've tensioned properly leading out to it.

We can do this two ways.

We can pull the center in,

and then make two little pleats coming into it.

I'm actually gonna show you the other way,

on this one, that I like a lot,

which is that I'm gonna finish off this side.

And you see when I'm getting out here,

that I'm bringing my staples out towards the corner.

And so I'm gonna come in about here,

and just trim

to those staples.

Once I feel like I can wrestle what's left

into a nice, tidy corner,

then I'm all set to just staple it down.

(loud thud on wood)

Most people clear the screw holes,

so they can find 'em again.

So, once we've trimmed it all down,

we are gonna bottom-cloth it.

That just means putting a fabric on the bottom

to make the whole thing look nice and finished.

I'll be totally honest,

if you're the only one who ever gonna use these chairs,

I won't yell at you for skippin' that step.

Once the bottom cloth is on there,

all we have to do it screw this back on the chair,

and we're ready to put it to use.

For me, one of my favorite things in upholstery

is seeing that it not only looks good,

but that, hopefully, it's a very functional part of a home,

that it's someplace they enjoy coming home

and sitting down in.

And I love that it is

a medium that is just as concerned

with function as it is with form.

The very best chairs not only look great,

but they're really just your favorite place

to hang out at the end of a long day.

Brazilian guy trying to speak in German, Dutch and Chinese - Duration: 3:52.

I'm a very polyglot

My Gosh!

People who watch this even think I can speak English

Or do not, because I speak very poorly

Today I'm here to make a video a little different from what I usually do

Maybe you who are watching this video said:

WTF! Why did he start his video in English?

Or you did not even say that

because can you see the title of the video

But let's imagine you did not see the title of the video

First of all, ignore my hair because it is long now

And I can not make my hair be cool now

and sorry.

In today's video I will try to speak in other languages. Many channels are currently doing this

But they are only speaking in English, Spanish ...

And I want to speak in more difficult languages. You know?

So I'll try to speak Dutch, German and Chinese.

I'll try same Chinese.

So, let's go!

I'm with the help of google translator, obviously

And I'll start by trying to speak a few sentences in Dutch

I'll start with a greeting, I'll say "hi"

"How are you?"

I think I did...

terrible

"What's your name?"

I think it's more or less this

more or less

The monster is coming out of the cage! (Brazilian meme)

Well, we came to the conclusion that I would not be a good Dutch person

So now I'll try to speak German!

I'll start with the previous sentence: "the monster is coming out of the cage"

"The Brazilian team is very good!"

I really don't know what I'm doing...

So I'll try something simpler ... "Hi!".

Do you know what's worse? I have a book of basic things in German and I don't know say almost anything

You can see that I did not dedicate to the language, because you are seeing the disaster.

"Subscribe in my channel"

Ops!

So now I'm going to speak in one of the most difficult languages to talk about, Chinese!

I do not think I can say anything. I've never tried speaking Chinese ...

I'll start with the basics: "hi!"

"My hair is very ugly"

Translation is not correct :(

And there's one more word in the sentence, but I'm not listening to her speak

"China is very big!"

I think it has now become more convincing.

"Brazil will be hexa"

If you had seen my channel, subscribe :)

And check out my previous videos

Because my channel is getting better and better

Oh my Gosh...

On this year I'll do my best to post videos every week!

See you soon and bye!

(Bye in Chinese)

(Bye in Deutsch)

(Bye in Dutch)

2017 Volvo S90 Review - Duration: 3:02.

certain brands stand for certain things

jeep is an off-road icon and BMW is the

luxury brands for driving enthusiasts

ball has long been the safety conscious

brands and it's double down on that

image with a goal by 2020 the automaker

claims no one will be killed or

seriously injured while riding in a

nouveau at the same time always pushing

further into the luxury market with cars

like this new s90 sedan here three

highlights all of them can be found

inside starting with this beautiful

cabin we tested the top-of-the-line

inscription trim level and we're

impressed the real wood trim looks great

there's a real leather dashboard along

with napa leather upholstery and there's

a lot of unique controls like the

ignition switch right on the council

the next thing that really impressed was

this brand-new nine inch touchscreen

entertainment system there are just a

handful of buttons on the dashboard

because most systems are controlled by

the screen i liked it because it's quick

to respond and has smartly designed

menus and it supports smartphone style

interaction like pinch-to-zoom finally

the s90 standard pilot system shows just

how close self-driving technology is to

reality when there are clear lane

markings on the road

the system will steer accelerate and

brake the car at speeds up to 80 miles

per hour in keeping with volvo safety

tradition there are a whole host of

other features such as City Safety

low-speed collision avoidance

lane-departure prevention blind spot

warning and a 360-degree camera system

well that's 90 has the look quality and

technology of a top-shelf luxury sedan

there's still room for improvement for

one thing the driving experience just

isn't there yet the supercharged and

turbocharged four-cylinder in the t6

model offers great power in response but

it's gradually engine sound is out of

place in a flagship luxury car also the

steel suspension ride quality is busy

and lacks refinement and I like the

dashboard touchscreen overall after

driving the s90 for a few days i started

to wish for in

dependent temperature controls that

weren't tied to the screen because as it

is now they take your eyes off the road

longer than they should

when the Chinese company Julie bought

volvo in 2010 there were questions about

what would happen to the famed for his

friend but with new models like the xc90

SUV and the s90 we now know what volvo

wants to be and that's a true luxury

brand rooted in keeping people safe

while safety remains strong

volvo needs to step up its luxury

comfort game thanks for watching click

Cornel West & Robert George: Integrity over politics | VIEWPOINT - Duration: 2:54.

Cornel: You and I had no idea we would be living in the age of Trump.

Robert: Yeah, that's for sure.

Cornel: No idea.

And so, on the one hand, you figure, okay, in the Republican party, you've got a number

of candidates.

And you make your choice as Democratic party, you got a number of candidates, you make your

choices.

You and I chose candidates that didn't win in the primary, and then we had to choose

are we going with the two candidates that in our view, don't meet the criteria of integrity?

Robert: We were in the same position, because the question was did Hillary Clinton or Donald

Trump, either one, reach the threshold of decency and integrity required to be President

of the United States.

Cornel: Required for the office.

Robert: I'm sure you were under the same pressure that I was under.

You as a former Bernie Sanders supporter, me as a former Ted Cruz supporter.

Cornel: That's right.

Robert: We were under the same pressure to go along, to join the team, to conform, and

we were under the same threats.

If you don't, you'll be an outsider.

If you don't, you're excommunicated from the movement, from the club.

And yet, I admire you.

Cornel: I was not surprised.

I was not surprised, and you stood your ground.

Robert: Yeah, as you did as well.

Cornel: You stood your ground.

Robert: As you did as well.

Of course, now, you've been doing it for years as a critic from the left of the Obama administration.

I know that you are under tremendous pressure and criticism for not going along with Obama,

for your willingness to criticize publicly the first Black American president.

But, you were willing to do it even though you knew that it meant you weren't gonna get

invitations to the White House, you were not going to be an insider, you weren't going

to have the status that you might otherwise have enjoyed.

You weren't going to be on MSNBC every night and all that stuff.

Cornel: And you would have done the same thing to the first president from West Virginia,

first Catholic.

Robert: I like to think I would have.

Cornel: Whatever, you know what I mean?

Because as a matter, we're fallible and finite and fall, so we fall on our faces.

But we really tried to the best of our ability, and this is when we help each other in this

regard, to trying to sustain our quest for integrity, honesty, and decency.

It's a precious quest, and it's not pure.

It's not pristine, but it has much to do with how we were raised.

It has much to do with the choices we make in terms of our religious Christian faith.

It has something to do with the traditions that we choose to be a part of, and also how

we choose to die, that we intend to be faithful unto death.

HUMAN ARCHERY ROULETTE | Challenge Pete - Duration: 4:56.

Hi, I'm Pete and last week you guys voted for Archery Attack

so today, I've go these bow and arrows

which are gonna be hitting me in the face

the nuts and everywhere in between.

That was so close!

Remember to vote on what you want to see me do next time by

clicking the button that's popping up at the top of the screen

right now.

So first up I want to see how much these bows

actually hurt, so

I thought it'd be fun to get shot in the face.

You're actually meant to wear a paintball style mask

when you play with these bows and arrows but

hey, I'm a professional.

Oh that hurt, ok

they do hurt, I can see why people wear masks.

Ok, so now it's time for a game of roulette

we have 12 arrows here and

6 of them have an egg strapped to the end of them

the other 6 have nothing on them

and I'm gonna be blindfolded

pick one of the arrows at random

which Simon is then gonna fire at me

if it's an egg I get splatted

if it's not an egg, well, I still get hit by an arrow

it'll still hurt so

I lose either way but this should be a bit of fun.

Messy fun.

This is gonna be very cold.

That wasn't even an egg.

It looks a bit like a paintball welt.

I can see why you should wear these masks

Why are you hitting my nipples?

So now I've got symmetrical bruises

PETE: What happened there?

PETE: Did it fall off? SIMON: It's a bit too powerful.

PETE: Too powerful? SIMON: It broke the egg in mid air.

PETE: It broke the egg in mid air! SIMON: It looked pretty sick.

Ok, because that was meant to be the 3rd and final shot and I was meant to get an egg

but the arrow was too powerful so it

broke the egg in mid air

I've decided I'll take an egg for you guys anyway.

That winded me.

That took the air out of my lungs.

That was bad, let's hope that looked cool in slow motion.

It made me bleed

how'd it make me bleed?

Ok now, it's already made me bleed

but Like I said at the start of the video

let's do some archery nut shots

I don;t think I'm ever gonna have kids.

That was so, it squished me

It's just getting worse.

Is it still there?

Hi, so it turns out, after taking an arrow

nut shot, it made me forget to record an outro for the video, so

I guess I'll do it now

thank you for watching, if you enjoyed it please give it a thumbs up

and remember to vote on what you want to see me do next time

subscribe for new videos like this every Thursday, goodbye.

DerMicha - episode 3 - ICBC to Seattle - Duration: 10:51.

Hello dear cannabis loving audience.

My name is Micha

Hi folks, today DerMicha is at the ICBC.

International Cannabis Business Conference

Let's take a look around.

I am also a speaker

and will talk about the situation in Europe.

We wanted to see what it is like when weed is almost legal.

Thats why we encountered this Congress.

I have not seen such a professional event.

Next year the ICBC will also take place in Germany.

I am very excited to take you around and I hope

you can learn something. Let's go.

Michael Knodt is from Berlin,

he started Germany's first YouTube channel dedicated to the cannabis movement....

So in the next 55 minutes we've got to cover a lot of ground.

The first sector is the recreational cannabis sector, which is not as far developped in Germany.

You can smoke in public.

The police does not say anything in Berlin or in bigger cities like Hamburg.

Now we have a medical cannabis law which will be implemented in 2017.

All the cannabis in Germany will be sold by pharmacies.

The new law will be different for the system you know here.

Nobody pays his medicine himself.

The disscussion about medical cannabis in Germany

ist also a disscussion about reembursement.

The patients are fighting for reembursement

because at the moment they have to pay it them selves and simply cannot afford it.

The medicine has got to be reembursed

and the companies will get payed by the insurance companies for the cannabis from 2019 on.

At least for a big part of it.

We are on the right track but there is still a lot of work to do.

Germany likes to regulate everything and as soon as the Law is implemented

it will be an rolemodel for other European countries how to regulate cannabis.

This is what we hope and this is what we expect.

Thank you.

This is Alex who organises the congress.

Thank you for the invitation.

How is it going?

Thanks it's going great.

We have many good people here,

that's quality.

You will come to Berlin next year?

Yes in April. It will be the first time in Europe.

I havent't seen anything alike in Europe yet.

You only got hemp-faires and exhibitions

The business side of cannabis is important but we have to take care of cannabis activism as well.

Definitely,

i noticed that as well.

I noticed that at this great event.

We have seen that cannabis, when it's legalized,

is big business. And we gotta take part in that as well Alex.

The activists must get involved and compete with the industry

or shape it and build it up.

Such congresses are the right way

to ensure that we can participate in cannabis legalization.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new regulation for medical cannabis in Germany.

It is important that patients can grow their own cannabis.

Thats really important. But within three to five years it's also important that anyone in Germany can grow their own at home.

Cannabis needs to be legalized.

No jail for cannabis

Talk to you later on the fair. Thanks again for the invitation.

Well, after a sunny day in Vancouver

it got really rainy – storm and rain.

And now we'll soon be off to Seattle.

The many dispensaries and coffee-shops in Vancouver really surprised me.

And I did some research: They will be licensed soon.

At some places we didn´t even need to show our medical card to the vendors.

We never had any problems with the card.

Some said: „hey, we´re recreational"

– they didn´t even ask for the card.

They are really relaxed concerning the cannabis subject.

Still from time to time somebody gets busted.

And although it´s illegal, they re-open their stores again,

waiting for the government

to legalize – and to give out the selling licenses.

Selling medicinal cannabis is as illegal as selling recreational.

Because in Canada it´s up to the government's cannabis agency to regulate it,

Only the agency is able to license medical cannabis.

Dispensaries in Vancouver are not licensed for medicinal production.

It´s the medicinal producers that directly distribute the cannabis to the patients.

There are no interposed shops.

As a patient you order directly from the producers.

But there is a third option, which Canadiens have:

Patients fought for their rights to grow cannabis on their own. But in comparison to Germany

the procedure is much more established.

People don´t need to justify themselves as much as in Germany.

In Canada we have a lot more patients with a permission to grow.

And patients have the choice

whether to obtain cannabis from a producer or to grow it.

I hope, I could give you a proper instruction of the Canadian legal status.

Now, I am freezing like hell and I am soaked – and we need to take off to Seattle.

The bus is already waiting and I admit that crossing the boarder makes me nervous.

Let´s see, what the want to know.

We´ll see again in the US. Bye.

I like the „Buffalo Bill", which I just bought.

It´s delicious. But it´s damned cold outside. We do have stormy weather, too – almost forgot to mention.

Storm and rain.

Well, let me now finish my last joint for today.

Tomorrow I´ll take my cannabis by bong. Then you´ll get more information about Cannabis in Colorado.

Leave me alone now. Switch it off. Good Night!

So if you have any further ideas, please tell us. Comment below what you want to see next in the show.

I wish you a pleasant, chilled Weekend.

Don't overdo it.

I see you in two weeks. Take care! Bye!

Are Green Earth Pans Any Good? FT. Ozeri - Duration: 4:40.

(Clicking sounds and banging on pan) Merry here and welcome to my channel!

Today I am going to be talking about green earth pans.

I will be opening and reviewing the green earth pan that Ozeri gave me.

I am this is a good.

This is a good thing.

A green earth pan is a pan that is a medium ground pan that is an upgrade from the older

traditional non-stick and ceramic non-stick pans.

They are not very healthy for you especially if you have small animals like rabbits or

compromised immune systems.

Cooking at high temps causes a toxic fume to be released.

I have this lovely green earth pan which is made with these non-stick chemicals that are

fairly safe for you.

Let me show you what a traditional non-stick ceramic pan from Walmart looks like.

This pan is supposed to be a step up from that pan.

They are both 10-inch pans.

Look it's Christmas!

Shall we open it and get into it so we can look at it some?

Pan protector?

It's like a lil octopus!

(Screams?)

(Pan fry noises?)

A little booklet Here is what the pan looks like

Can you see any differences?

This one is heavier!

That is good because this red pan is made with the cheapest aluminum which makes it

light but leeches chemicals into your food once the coating is scratched.

This pan is heavier and made with die cast aluminum which makes a little more safe.

The coating is way different I can tell.

It's really smooth and slippery If you are looking to know which pan is has-is-funner

to lick it's the green one

I will take a guess to say that because this non-stick is made with less chemicals

then a traditional ceramic pan that over time it would lose the non-stick

You'll probably have to patina it in an oil like a cast iron pan

I really like this super green color is a plus.

I think the fact that it is pretty is good because you'll want to take care of it more.

You don't want to scratch the surface of this pan.

I was disappointed cause I thought this pan was made in Germany but in fact it was made

in China but designed in Germany.

China does not regulate any chemicals in pans.

I really would like to go test this out because I am really really hungry and I need some

food... so you can just come with me.

This pan is nice and slippery!

I am curious if it will get the bread crispy.

Yup (Laugh) I just made a mess cause the pan cooks

so quiet I did not know how hot it was getting!

It induces heat really well!

I'll have to get used to it.

I think it's doing a really good job!

Are you interested in heathier safer cookwares?

I'm starting to lose my voice so it's time to go.

This is Merry out.

I love you guys! (kisses)

Do animals have emotions? An introduction to Panksepp | Animated Series Episode 8 - Duration: 8:07.

Do animals have emotions?

Any child that has spent a hour with a dog will tell you that they do, but as we grow

up this certainty is pushed aside, and after all in a world that routinely uses and abuses

animals for food, clothing and entertainment, ignoring or minimising the emotional lives

of animals is rather convenient.

There is quite a bit of evidence and literature on the subject of animal emotions but for

today I want to exclusively focus on the work of neuroscientist Jaak Panksepp.

During his research on affective neuroscience, Panksepp found 7 emotional systems within

the mammalian brain.

These basic emotions do not come from the cerebral cortex, which is associated with

complex human thinking, but instead from ancient brain structures that have similar functions

across all mammalian species.

These 7 emotional systems include:SEEKING, FEAR, RAGE, PLAY, CARE, PANIC/GRIEF and LUST.

The first 3 are basic emotional and motivational processes, while the last 4 are what Panksepp

describes as social emotions.

You may also have noticed that these 7 systems are spelled in capitals to better differentiate

them from the regular use of the words that may not refer to emotional systems that are

traceable within the brain.

SEEKING is a built in system that is essential to survival.

It causes the animal to go out and look for resources such as food, water, companionship,

to explore his environment to try solving problems.

If the SEEKING system becomes under-active then the animal may become depressed.

Therefore it is essential to stimulate the SEEKING system of your domestic animal on

a daily basis.

This can be done through the use of environmental and sensory enrichment such as taking the

animal for a walk, food enrichment such as food puzzles and cognitive enrichment such

as clicker training sessions.

The FEAR system protects the animal from danger and ensures the survival of the species.

When FEAR is activated, either through external threats or conscious or unconscious fear memories,

there are a number of internal physiological effects: The arousal of the sympathetic nervous

system (the system associated with flight or fight) and associated hormones released

by the endocrine system, produce an increase in heart rate and blood pressure, the airways

dilate, the inflammatory response increases and the immune system is suppressed.

These are all involuntary responses over which the affected animal has no control over that

prepare him to escape, or - if escape is prevented - to defend himself.

It is common practice in the horse world to correct and punish behaviours that are a product

of FEAR.

If they are lucky, the trainer may reduce the unwanted behaviour by these methods, but

won't achieve full resolution of the problem, as this does not take into account what is

happening inside the animal's mind, nor change how the animal feels about whatever

triggered the FEAR.

Oxytocin, the hormone associated with the CARE system is however useful in reducing

FEAR.

This is why you will often notice horses engaging in mutual grooming following a stressful event.

Similarly owners may find stroking to be successful in soothing a worried horse.

The RAGE system is linking to the fight part of the flight/fight response and is most often

activated by physiological states of social isolation and hunger.

This explains why horses that are socially isolated and fed inappropriately are so prone

to aggression and that a change of management is recommended as treatment.

Hormones such as oxytocin, endorphins, progesterone and oestrogen function as antidotes to RAGE.

Mares that refuse to feed their foals and show RAGE toward them are most often victim

of chronic stress.

Chronic stress is known to disturb the normal process of pregnenolone, a building block

to many hormones including progesterone, which is s precursor to oestrogen, which is essential

for the hormone oxytocin to work.

RAGE can also be seen in animals that are unsuccessful (and therefore frustrated) in

obtaining expected reinforcement – either positive or negative reinforcement.

This can be seen when they are putting in more effort in an attempt to escape an aversive

stimulus or situation, as well as when they are trying to obtain expected positive reinforcers.

The PANIC/GRIEF system may sound similar to the FEAR system, however it is a social emotion

which circuits are linked to separation anxiety.

PANIC/GRIEF is what a young foal experiences when forcefully taken away from his mum and

later on in life when forcefully separated from herd companions.

Hormones such as oxytocin and social stimuli such as touch, can act as antidotes to PANIC.

The best way to experience the emotions felt by horses in a state of PANIC is to imagine

the feeling of being bereaved.

Often we describe a horse as being "bereft" when he behaves in PANIC for that reason.

LUST is essential to the survival of the species because it ensures that animals come together

and mate.

It is strong in both males and females.

So strong that we routinely castrate male horses to reduce testosterone, because it

is so difficult to compete with this emotional system when it comes to handling and training

horses.

When horse riders label mares as moody and difficult they often overlook the fact that

mares, unlike geldings, still have an intact LUST system and may be living permanently

sexually frustrated lives.

The CARE system is essential to the social life of animals.

It promotes appropriate parent/child relationships, social cohesion within a herd and as we have

seen before acts as an antidote to FEAR, RAGE and PANIC/GRIEF.

Relationships based on CARE can be formed with other species such as a human caregiver

if horse and human engage in affiliative behaviours such stroking, grooming and loafing together.

The PLAY system is crucial to the healthy development of young animals and strengthens

social attachments by the release of endorphins.

Social isolation, fear and separation distress act as inhibitors of play.

This is why we often see suppression of normal play behaviour in abruptly weaned animals.

To put these emotional systems into an animal training context: Conventional animal training

that primarily involves the use of negative reinforcement and positive punishment rely

on the activation of the FEAR and RAGE system.

While humane, science-based animal training which primarily involve positive reinforcement

rely on the activation of the SEEKING system and can also lead to the PLAY and CARE system

being activated.

Is he always like this?

I told you. He's on recharge mode.

Can't you just nudge him or something?

Yeah, I can nudge him!

But he's going to be awake in like...

Five

Four

Brace yourself.

Two

One

I feel better already!

What are we doing here, runt?

We're in therapy.

Therapy?

Barbarians crush!

We do not do therapy!

Except for that hot stone massage thing, if you know what I mean...

While you were sleeping, your son was telling me about some issues you've been having?

Which son?

The one right next to you.

Oh, Crusher!

No, that's not me.

Thunder Face!

Still no...

Pain Explosion!

He's dead! There's no bringing him back!

Oh, then it's definitely Boulder Brain.

It's not even close.

Jeff.

Jeff is not one of your kids.

OK, it's Barbarian!

Barbarian, the one out of your ten thousand kids who you actually named after the job you want me to do.

Barbarian!

I mean, you are all kind of the same.

I mean, so sue me if I ran out of ideas, OK?

If I gave every "maiden" the attention she wanted

I mean, how would I have any time for conquering?

Oh, calling me a maiden.

Rich. Real rich, dad!

Look...

You slept through all the important moments in my life.

I was not sleeping, I was power drunk!

Call it what you will!

You missed me getting caught on fire for the first time.

You missed my first raid.

You missed my one hundredth raid.

You missed the time I studied and took the Bar...

Barian.

You hurt my feelings!

Feelings!?

Feelings...

It's nothing more than...

Feelings!

Barbarians don't have feelings!

Maybe I don't want to be a Barbarian anymore.

Maybe I want to be a...

Librarian.

Librarian...

I wanna be a

Li...brarian.

Really?

Are you billing by the hour?

Oh, certainly yes.

I love you, father.

Aaah, the pain!

The pain!

The blood and the pain!

Thank You for 400! 24-Hour Live Stream Announcement! - Duration: 7:09.

Hey, what's up everyone?

So, here we are again...

I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you.

Your support over these past few months have been absolutely incredible

Thank you. Just thank you.

I'm super excited about this next 24-hour live stream too.

TBH, these 24-hour streams are extremely difficult to plan.

Because of other work and personal schedules

I was planning on doing this 24 hour stream this Friday

But then I found out I wasn't going to be in town

Then I was left with 2 options: next Monday or next Friday

Obviously I opted for Monday

And there's a few reasons for that...

One of them being that I didn't want to stretch this out again.

I wanted to schedule the stream relatively close to when we hit the goal...

Also, I knew I wouldn't be working on Monday or Tuesday

So, I figured "Why not Monday?"

I know it's a weird day to schedule it with a lot of people...

in school and/or work and everything, so please forgive me!

It's just the only time that I knew would work for me for the next 2 weeks or so.

Also, if you've made it this far into the video, thank you!

And if you're watching these subtitles, welcome!

Just like the other announcement videos, please keep these subtitles a secret!

And type "I love bacon" in the comments!

Please don't tell anyone else about these subtitles...

'Cause I think it would be interesting to see how many of you actually use subtitles.

So far, no one has typed "I love bacon" in the comments :(

Are you going to be the first?

What are you waiting for??? Go do it!

Type "I love bacon" in the comments!

I refuse to speak again until you do...

Have you posted that comment yet?

Yes??? Wow, that's super awesome of you! Thanks ;)

I don't know what to say for the rest of this video.

I kinda want to freestyle...subtitle style...

Don't worry, I'm not asking you to buy my mixtape.

Just to read what I'm sayin'

(Insert photo of The Joker here) Okay, here. we. go.

In West Philadelphia born and raised...

Wait, what?

What are you talking about?

I totally didn't rip that off from a famous '90s sitcom.

I have no idea what you're talking about...Willis

But seriously though, if you haven't already...

Type "I love bacon" in the comments!

Okay, I'm just going to leave that there...

...And I may come back later.

Oh wait, before I leave...

Did y'all see that eye roll at the 0:47 mark?

I kept watching that over and over in the edit, and it just really bothers me.

I tried to find another clip, but the lighting in the other versions of that clip were unusable bc of sound and lighting

I feel so bad, and I hope no one takes that the wrong way.

I had to shoot that portion and the portion afterwards like 20+ times and I was just getting frustrated.

Also, I could see the lighting change while I was recording so I was also getting frustrated with that too.

I knew that was going to affect what I could key out, so when the lighting changed...

...So I knew that was going to make the video look pretty bad...

And there are a few clips where the lighting, to me, is still pretty bad.

I mean, as a whole, I think the lighting for this video is...

...an improvement from the last video, but it's still not great.

But I can live with that as long as I'm seeing improvement.

Anyways, I'm going to stop rambling about the lighting.

But I hope that eye roll is not taken the wrong way.

I was just getting frustrated with recording, and I realize that I shouldn't have let that happen.

It's bugging me a lot, and I'm just really sorry.

Alright, I guess that may be it for the subtitles for this video.

I'm sorry to say it, but I may leave. I may jump back in at the end, but I'm not sure yet

If I don't see ya, have a good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

And I totally didn't steal that from a '90s movie either ;)

God, that was a good movie

I mean, like a really good movie

It's very underrated

I'm going to have to watch that again

I think it's on Netflix, so I'll have to check that

Seriously though, y'all are amazing

And I will never be able to thank you enough for your support!

Thank you, and have a good day!
