His name: Grazzy Garcia aka LIL pump Born August 17, 2000 What got him famous When Garcia was 13 years old, his cousin introduced him to Omar Pineiro, better known as Smokepurpp, the two eventually became co-collaborators. Garcia was expelled from multiple district schools and thereafter enrolled in an opportunity high school but was expelled in the tenth grade for fighting and inciting a riot
When he started rapping Garcia's rap career began when Smokepurpp produced a track and asked Garcia to freestyle over it. The single produced was independently released in 2016 on the music streaming website know as SoundCloud, as his debut single, "Lil Pump". Garcia quickly followed the song with singles "Elementary", "Ignorant", "Gang Shit", and "Drum$tick", each possessing over three million streams. The success of Garcia's tracks on SoundCloud earned him recognition among the South Florida underground rap scene, in a style known as "SoundCloud rap." Garcia co-headlined the No Jumper tour in 2016, and also performed at the Rolling Loud Festival. And well know for his track "GUCCI GANG" that hit number three on the US Billboard hot 100 which was released in October 6, 2017.

Video Statement of Intent for PCP Program Admission - Duration: 4:14.
Greetings, my name is Adrian Marin and I'm 24 years old. I'm applying for the
Professional Counseling Psychology program at Florida International
University because I want to obtain my master's degree in psychology and become
a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. The notion of establishing my own practice
someday is certainly not far-fetched. Continuing my studies as a graduate
student is an opportunity I would genuinely cherish and appreciate
because I believe I can achieve these goals with the knowledge and guidance of
FIU's professors and doctors. I believe I'm qualified as a candidate because I
have excelled academically, with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and
professionally, working with Jewish Community Services during the past three
years. I continue my work at Jewish community services providing information,
referral, and counseling services overnight to individuals in distress. I
conduct follow-up assessments for individuals at high risk of suicide, and
I'm also legally bounded to follow the Department of Children and Families'
protocols and procedures for reporting cases of abuse or neglect for vulnerable
populations like the elderly, disabled, and children. The range of demographics
(heritage, race, and ages) that I work with is extensive, and I handle calls for over
15 specialty lines in English and Spanish like the National Suicide
Prevention Lifeline, Veterans Crisis Line, Cope Hotline, Shalom Bayit Domestic Abuse
Prevention Hotline, 2-1-1, Disaster Distress Helpline, among others.
As I continue assisting individuals and families facing hardships, I want to
expand my set of tools and skills to help people improve their quality of life.
I often refer individuals to nonprofits, charities,
and community agencies after using the de-escalation
techniques and expressing empathy towards their situation.
I put these skills to the test when Hurricane Irma made landfall in Florida on September 2017.
I was summoned to the EOC, better known as the Emergency Operations Center
located at the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Headquarters. There, I worked with
organizations such as United Way, FPL ,The Children's Trust, FEMA and other
organizations to conduct relief and recovery operations. To this day,
I continue counseling, assessing, and referring victims of Hurricane IRMA and
Hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately, staff and volunteers often
go and recognize unless they attain certifications that affirm their expertise.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I would be better equipped to
provide further services like crisis, individual, conjoint, or family counseling as needed.
I am fully invested in committed in attaining my licensure in
Mental Health Counseling at Florida International University.
Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma serve as reminders that catastrophes and crises
occur across our lifespan, and I want to improve so that I may continue being a
reliable source of support in the community.
Therefore, I look forward to the academic, educational,
and life-changing experience that awaits me
within the Professional Counseling Psychology program.
Given the opportunity, I would gladly prove these words true
