open the latest chrome app

all Android has a Chrome app, so no need to install from Plasytore

click on point 3 in the top right corner

enable desktop site

type youtube.com or click the Youtube icon

select the song you want to listen to

for example i will play a song ...

Havana

click play

close the chrome app

usually the song will pause

slide the top screen of Android

click play Youtube music player

now you can listen to music from Youtube on Android background

can while opening other applications

even when the Android screen is turned off

songs from Youtube can still be played

if the chrome app on your Android can not play Youtube videos in the background

here's the solution

this time you have to install Firefox app from Playstore

if the Firefox app is already installed, please open it

click on point 3 in the top right corner

click on request desktop site

type youtube.com or click the Youtube icon

select the song you want to listen to

click play

now music from Youtube can be played on your Android background
