Hi! Today I just have a quick video about my new glasses.
These are kind of a big
deal for me, because for the last four years I've been wearing the same pair of
glasses. Which are these ones. And they were a game changer for me. I saw them
online as part of a buy one get two promotion, so I bought one pair that was
kind of similar to the pairs I had gotten before, then I got these ones,
which I thought looked very dramatic and over the top, and I didn't know if they
would actually suit me. And I just fell in love with them. The thing about
glasses is they change your face! They make a dramatic difference in how you
look. So I really loved those frames they made me a happier about how I looked.
Unfortunately, those frames are no longer being made, and the lenses were actually
starting to flake off, so I needed to replace them. So I went online to the
place I had bought my previous glasses, and I found out they had gotten rid of
the try on feature. If you don't know, the try on feature is where you upload a
picture of your face and you can overlay glasses frames onto your face to get a
rough idea of how they would look on you. It's how I bought my original frames, it
was why I kind of took the risk to buy something that was totally different
than the glasses that I had worn before. Without the try on view I had no idea
what the frames would look like on my face, so I knew I wasn't gonna buy there
again. And then, serendipitously, the company Firmoo sent me an email offering
me a free pair of glasses if I made a video review of them. And then I went on
their website and they have the try on feature! Which made me very, very happy.
And they have lots of frames to choose from, and a lot of different styles, and
they're all super cheap. I believe there aren't any ones that are over $39. These
were the ones I chose, because through their handy site I found out I want wide
frames, which I wasn't aware of before. And their customer service team was
fantastic, and these arrived really quickly, and they came in this adorable
little case. Overall, this has been a great shopping experience for me,
especially because it was something I really needed, and just out of the blue I
got to have them. And I also have a link down in the description where you can
get your own glasses from Firmoo for $4.95. Five dollars for glasses, including lenses. Which is
just ridiculous. I'm not sure if I'm gonna be wearing these frames full-time,
because I still haven't totally let go of my old frames. I think these are great
and they're very close, but... I don't know. I'm still looking for an even more exact
match, maybe, which is probably a pipe dream. Once again, if you're in the market
