- Hello, I wanna talk to you today
about five reasons how video marketing
is going to grow your sales and business.

so number one, videos attract customers organically
and long term.
On YouTube, if you have a video that has performed well
it has a great audience retention
so people are sticking all the way through,
it is well optimized for some key terms
then that video is going to continue to rank
kind of long term, a video could be three years old
and still be performing for you,
and generating 10s of thousands of views to that video.
And not only in the search,
but also in suggested videos in related videos on YouTube
those videos it's a long term gain for you.
Blog posts that incorporate video
actually get three times as many inbound links
than ones without.
And if you really want your videos to perform long term
make sure that you include some of those main key words
that your video is about in the title.
It's kind of a given but that is where kind of the most
SEO weight is applied.
So just make sure you include that.
You already know, YouTube,
it's the second largest search engine in the world,
after Google, it's owned by Google,
people are actively searching for videos
that you could be teaching your customers
or potential customers about.
It's even been suggested that videos are 52 times
more likely to show up in the first few results
of Google than blog posts.
And that's likely due to a lack of competition.
Number two, video increases click through rates in email.
So according to Hubspot,
adding a video to your marketing emails
actually increases that click through
by 200 to 300%.
That is pretty significant.
Just having video in your email subject line
has been shown to increase email open rates by 19%
you've heard the term the money is in the list
and that's your email list.
So if you're using video,
leverage that email list to be able
to sell more product, to be able to get more conversions
use that list to a greater advantage using video.
You can leverage tools like go video by vidyard,
which is a really awesome tool to actually click
and start recording from your webcam
right into your emails.
So we started doing this for our own cold email outreach
and we actually saw a 60% increase
in cold outreach open rates.
Number three,
videos increase conversions on your landing pages.
Hubspot has shown us that we can actually get
an 80% increase just by having videos
on your landing page.
And it isn't a secret that videos help lead
to more conversions, 51% of marketers already know
that videos are helping them get a greater return
on investment over other types of content.
And there's a few reasons,
it increases the length of time that people spend
on your website landing page so,
they're more likely to have your brand message
kinda sync in, and having yourself or staff
in the video actually increases trust.
It adds personality to it and personality of your brand.
And some people are just lazy,
they don't wanna read a bunch of text
and they just wanna listen and watch.
Or they just absorb information better
through that form of content, being video.
Video is simply the most persuasive form of content.
We use videos for our clients to helps them
get more leads by having videos that actually go to
a landing page with videos that get them through convert
through opt in and lead magnet
and then there's videos in those emails
in that list, generating back to a blog post
that has videos embedded, so it's a continued cycle.
And videos just drive your customers
and potential customers through that funnel,
'till they're ready to make a purchase.
Number four videos can increase the desirability
of your product.
We learned that 64% of customers
are more likely to purchase a product or service
after they've watched a video about it.
So you can use video to demonstrate how your product work
what pinpoints they solve, the solutions
that you bring to your customer.
And what that actually looks like,
you can show and demonstrate that
and video is going to do that much better
than any other form of content that you're putting out there
what we really like to recommend to our clients
is actually taking their FAQ
and turning all of those questions into video.
And because video is such a personable form of content
it can create emotion based sales
and you'll want to integrate emotion into your selling.
Your customers wanna feel good about that purchase
that they're going to make,
and video marketing can really be the best way
to create that feeling for your customers.
Number five, video ads can target your potential customers
at scale, so paid video advertising
is just one of the best ways to target customers
based on interest and demographics
or retargeting people who have already engaged
with your brand, it is such a scalable form
of connecting with your customer
that you can figure out where one dollar turns into 1.25
and you just keep on scaling this up.
Where you're seeing a direct conversion.
Some of the options you have to target your customers
with video ads include demographics
or your age, your gender, income,
you have topics and interests,
so obviously targeting what your customers
may be interested and what they've shown
they'd been interested on different platforms or websites.
Keywords, so what people are actively typing
into Google or YouTube
or coming up into the Facebook search bar.
Placements, you can have your ads on specific channels
or specific videos, even specific URLs,
and one of the most effective forms, retargeting.
So retargeting or remarketing,
you're reengaging with a prospect who has engaged
with your brand in some way, so either they've been
on your YouTube channel, they've been on your website,
maybe they've watched a certain portion of your videos,
you can target based on that.
So there's a lot of different ways that you can do that
but that is gonna be the strongest way
to get conversions because that's not necessarily
a cold lead, at least that's a warm or hot lead
because you've already had multiple touch points with them
and they're just much more likely to create that sale.
That's where we see the greatest amount of conversions
is in retargeting.
If you hadn't heard of retargeting
or weren't really familiar with it,
prior you definitely experienced it
where you will be on a brand's website
and you go back onto Facebook and all you see
is their brand's content or you go around the web
and think wow this brand's everywhere.
They have ads here, they have ads there,
that's retargeting.
We read that video ads actually have
1.84% click through rates on average
and that's actually the highest form
of digital ad format for click through rates.
And video ads now account for about 35%
of all online ads spent.
So I hope those five tips have kind of been helpful for you
and I just wanted to kind of highlight
some of the ways that video marketing
can indirectly or directly help you increase conversions
and sales, really help you grow your business.
