My name is Sonja Ball, I played Allison Stanek.

To get the Czech accent, I listened to - I YouTube'd - Milos Forman, the Czech director.

I got the feist for her character from my mom.

She wasn't a tyrant, she was a wonderful woman.

But she had a temper, she could be very emotional, very intense, sometimes, to people outside the family.

To do motion capture was incredible for me, because it was the first time I ever did it.

It was really quite something to memorize blocking and a lot of dialogue,

which I'd never done.

Usually, you have the script right in front of you when you're a voice over actor.

It was a challenge.

Working with really great actors, who were really used to doing a lot of physical action

in front of cameras, and doing motion capture, was great.

And you're in this incredibly tight suit with cameras right in front of your face and all over your body.

At the same time, shutting that off and concentrating on "ok, where am I supposed to stand",

the dialog and everything like that.

It was an intense and incredibly fun two days.

Allison's sincere desire to follow through with what she believed was the ultimate reality....

It was interesting, she was so convinced that what she was doing and how she was living,

and her cause was just and right.

If you play somebody that's a psychopath, just a general nutbar, that's one thing.

But someone who is sincerely believing in what they're doing, and how they're living,

it takes a kind of sincere centeredness, if I could say.

So it was a challenge and really fun to play a character like that.

I think as a person, I'm kind of - well I've been told - that I have sort of a mothering nature.

In that way, I could relate to her because these were all her children that she was bringing

into the fold and trying to keep on the path.

Of course, she's pretty bent - cause I'm a little bit like this too, so who knows.

But you gotta draw from something, right?

I really hope you enjoy playing the game as much as I did doing it.

I had a total blast and I hope you do too with the game.
