BREAKING News About ADAM SCHIFF He Just Got Busted BIG TIME
the president could release it later today right the expectation is that it
will come out at the beginning of next week that could change but according to
people we talked to yesterday that is likely to be read into the Congressional
Record on Monday we could see it earlier what's so interesting is when it does
come out that'll be the first time that most Democrats in the house see it so
for all the complaining about it every member of the House elected member can
read that memo as of yesterday afternoon a dozen Democrats outside the Intel
committee had bothered to Trek over to read it
why don't I wonder 19 Republicans I don't know how you can criticize a memo
as illegitimate say it's released jeopardizes national security and not
read it but they haven't and I don't know what the answer we can't get a
Democrat on my show to explain that well here is Adam shift who is the ranking
member on the Intelligence Committee he has always the constant look of
concern here's an example there's a sad day indeed when that is also true of our
own committee because today this committee voted to put the president's
personal interest perhaps their own political interests above the national
interest in denying themselves even the ability to hear from the department and
the FBI and that is I think a deeply regrettable state of affairs but it does
show how in my view when you have a deeply flawed person in the Oval Office
that flaw can infect the whole of government and it's a today tragically
it infected our committee your reaction I think there are Democrats worth
listening to or legitimate who speak in good faith Adam Schiff is not one of
them he's a liar and a demagogue I asked him a very straightforward question on
my shirt a brawl with him I asked him a simple question which is do we know that
the Russian government hacked John Podesta Z mails and he accused me of
working for Vladimir Putin rather than answering the question he is not someone
you should be listening to on this subject because he lies and he is
motivated as far as I can tell and I've watched very carefully interviewed him a
number of times purely out of partisan motivation
there's a real question at the bottom of this which is what happened during the
2006 Steen election and he's not getting us
any closer Michael Quigley says he described the memo as a book report by a
high school kid URI Ackerman it may be look I haven't
seen it but it right look here's that here's the question that it raises and
it's about FISA was that law abused by the previous administration by the
Justice Department under Obama was it used to spy on to surveil Americans when
it shouldn't have been it's a really simple question and by the way that
should concern everybody Republicans and Democrats dr. Andrew McCabe is now out
at the I do you think that the FISA member had something to do with that to
have a role we spoke to a number of people yesterday who have seen the memo
they didn't characterize it in great detail but they confirmed that he is
mentioned in the memo but they also confirmed that he is the subject of an
internal IG investigation at the FBI about his behavior during the 2016
election and both of those combined may have been responsible for him stepping
down Chris Ray the director at the FBI went to one of those secret rooms in the
Capitol on Sunday looked at the four page memo mm-hmm knotted went home had
dinner went to work yesterday and essentially fired mr. McCabe
does it look to you like this new guy this mr. ray is trying to clean house I
don't know it's you know it's very hard to tell from the outside we spend a lot
of time in us we're trying to answer that question but here's the bottom line
every American has a right to know if the government is using its intelligence
and law enforcement agencies for political purposes that's the end of the
country that will destroy your country if you allow that it's not a partisan
question it's not about Trump it's not about Adam Schiff it's about America are
they using it for illegitimate because Tucker right now it looks like they did
I'm you know I'm really trying to withhold judgment cuz I don't want to
believe that about my government but all of us should be concerned enough to get
the answer and it's not again it's not about Trump it's about America period
and you had Peter struck who's involved in every element of the night
investigation released as soon as the IG let's Robert Muller know his background
and he is the one who talks about a plan in place should the Trump win we don't
know if he's kidding we know what it's about
and these office is a reference and they talked about a secret society people say
well he was kidding we No and now we're about to see those five
somebody saw those five months worth of text messages between him and Lisa page
what's so striking to me is to see reporters self-described journalists say
it's illegitimate to want to know the answers to these questions you're
undermining public faith in government really I'll tell you public faith in
government law enforcement and in our intelligence agencies is the suggestion
that they might be acting out a political motive and we need to put that
question to rest sunlight is the only way to do that in reporters of all sides
all political persuasions ought to be leading the charge for transparency
right or not but Tucker there's so little curiosity on the part of some
mainstream reporters into this story they shout down people who ask questions
I'm not carrying water for any politician when I ask the question was
our government using these agencies for political ends that's an that's the
question the Democrats used as hearings all the time in Washington led by
Democrats on that question if they were Tucker what needs to happen to these
individuals well I don't think there's any graver betrayal of the public trust
than to use the awesome power of these agencies for political ends it's it's
actually terrifying that's when your police become the secret police I'm not
saying that happened I am saying we have an obligation to find out if it did
despite criticism from their political opponents the republican-led house Intel
committee last night voted to release that four-page classified Feist a memo
referred to ya the vote coming only hours after the FBI deputy director Andy
McCabe was removed from his post due to weigh in and I get that first questions
I read last is House Oversight Committee chairman South Carolina congressman trey
Gowdy out here without a heated seat but not complaining he's got five days to
decide that it should not be made public the indications are that he's not going
to exercise that and I would just tell my fellow citizens if you're interested
in whether or not the dossier was used in court proceedings and you're
interested in whether or not it was funded by a political opponent then then
you'll want to see the men sure congressman there are Democrats who
are saying that what the Republicans are doing with this memo and just a general
drumbeat up on Capitol Hill is trying to diminish robert muller and his
investigation yeah i think it was two days ago I said I'll support Bob Muller
a hundred percent I wasn't a math major I think you can support someone more
than a hundred percent so look my Democrat colleagues didn't want us to
find this information that they did everything they could to keep us from
finding this information so of course they don't be embarrassing to them I
think it'll be embarrassing to Adam Schiff once people realize the extent to
which he went to keep them from learning any of this so that would be the
embarrassment I mean going to court to help Fuzion GPS so we can't find out
that they paid for the for the dossier and they were working for the DNC that's
a pretty big step to go to court to try to keep the American people from
learning something so look if it were up Adam Schiff you wouldn't know about
Hillary Clinton's email you wouldn't know about the server you wouldn't know
who paid for the dossier so I do find it ironic that he has his own memo now
because if it were up to him we wouldn't know any of them are we all in search of
the truth though I mean Democrats and Republicans should be in search of the
truth if there are a few bad apples they need to get out but why is this such a
partisan issue when if something wrong happened we need to get to the bottom of
it figure out who's responsible and then who need to be consequences but why did
the Democrats have a problem with that I don't know Angela my old job it was
about the pursuit of the truth this job it is about winning and I think that's
what frustrates people and that's how you get a 7% public approval rating I
want to know I've oted to let the Democrat mo see the light I trust people
to make up their own mind and draw fair conclusions but politicses has
denigrated to the point that it's about winning and it's about embarrassing the
other side and again that's how you get a 7% public approval so so ultimately
trey gowdy what are the questions that trey gowdy when the cameras are off and
you're talking to your buddies that you need answered that you pretty much don't
know what you think you're in the pursuit
well my main interest is the integrity of the DOJ in the FBI so if the cameras
were off I would ask my friends at the bureau in the department how pervasive
was the bias I see strucken page but but I want to believe that out of the 30,000
employees just those two I want to believe that I got a text this morning
from an FBI agent who's a friend of mine and and of course morale is low the
Democrats blame us for that I think morale is low because most people in
this country hear the name struck and page and they associate that with the
FBI I'll just tell them that is not the FBI that I ever worked with
and I want to know what the department this Bruce or angle the anaphor person
that no federal prosecutor that I ever worked with would do the things that
Bruce or did so that's what his wife works for fusion GPS that might be an
indication trade one another name Andrew McCabe were you surprised that he got
removed yesterday I was I spent the better part of two days interviewing him
on house Intel and then Judiciary the next day he was a really professional
witness he answered all of our questions we were together for about 20 hours I
guess total I don't know why he left and it wouldn't be fair to him for me to
speculate so I I am grateful for his service but he's a really important
witness and both the Clinton in Russia and we'll leave it there all right
thanks appreciate it Gamecocks or Clemson Oh on television or
not on tell
