Waching daily May 4 2017

Hello, my dear Aliholics!

Here is another auction of generosity provided by kind AliExpress sellers.

What are we going to see today?

You're about to find out!

Links to all the products are in the description.

The link for the giveaway results will be listed at the end of the video - look out

for the gift box icon.

The first product that we are going to unbox today is the $22 Bluedio BS-2 speaker with

an unfortunate model name, that we have previously seen in the 5-25 dollar speaker review video.

This thing packs the most natural sound, and beautifully sounding bass.

Although it only becomes noticeable at around 30hz, it is strong and dimensional.

BS-2 is an open-back speaker, which means 'bigger' and a more "in a world around

me" type of sound.

This speaker also has a 3D mode which makes the sound - please excuse the redundancy - even

more dimensional, analytical and deep.

The next product is a new mechanical watch that was just below $17 with free shipping.

The watch was shipped in a bubble mailer and wrapped in foam, and it did not sustain any

damage.

The body is made from brushed metal with soft edges, and the straps are made out of thick

faux leather.

The mechanical watches mean that they do not have a conventional battery, and the watches

need to be shook to wind them up - the mechanism inside provisions it.

The watches keep time correctly, as long as the mechanism is wound up.

Otherwise, it takes about 2 hours for them to completely stop moving.

This watch is quite heavy, and it does not feel cheap at all.

The link to this watch is in the description.

The next package is 2 new acrylic pins.

They are usually shipped inside bubble mailers with no additional foam.

Each pin costs about $0.50.

They are made out of acryl, which is a type of plastic.

They are quite thick and solid.

Each has a safety pin mechanism at the back and a layer of protective film on the front.

What do you think is in the next package?

Here we have a stretchy bungee cord.

The cord itself is about 70 cm or just over 2 feet long, and it can stretch up to 2 times

in length.

Bungee cords like that are generally used for transportation, I like this one because

the plastic ends are just big enough to attach to the rear rack of my motorcycle.

Here I am using it to attach a portable grill.

The plastic hooks are pretty sturdy and thick, although I question their longevity, and doubt

that they would last forever.

But for $1.30 that it currently goes for, I can afford to replace them every season.

This package is full of magic.

Here we have a bolt that unscrews itself.

Real magicians don't share their secrets, but I am going to let you in on it: inside

the bolt is a tiny vibrating mechanism, so you put a small round battery inside, and

attach another one to either the back of your finger with a skin-colored tape, or hide it

under the table.

When the outside battery touches the bolt, the thing starts to quietly vibrate and the

bolt comes off.

Everything including the batteries and the tape comes with, and it costs just around

$2.

Some electronics on AliExpress are only sold with European-type plugs, and I have some

electronics that I bought outside of North America, so I purchased a bunch of these adapters.

These were sold for $0.32 for 2, so I got 4 just in case.

I will also link US to European ones in the description below.

And here we have an adapter centipede.

Moving on.

The next package is a big one.

This is something that I've never bought online before, and I'm pretty excited to

share this with you, my dear friends.

This is a $20 clothing organizer.

The pipes are made from some thin meta - the description says steel, which I can't deny

or confirm, and the edges are plastic.

You can build it in a way that you desire, with or without the bottom compartment.

Since we planned on using it as a coat rack, I decided that the bottom compartment would

be useful to have, so I kept it.

So far we've had it for about 5 months, and it stands strong so far.

It did tilt to the side a bit, but considering how much stuff we regularly put on it I am

very surprised that it still in otherwise perfect condition.

This thing is about 140 cm or a little over 4.5 feet tall.

It took me about 10 minutes to put it together, and it could take less or more depending on

your skills.

You could play around with it, make it taller or shorter, this is how we have it, and I'm

happy with it so far.

There are usually about between 6 and 8 jackets on it, as well as Maria's motorcycle gear,

some hats and scarves on top, and shoes on the bottom.

As you can see, we get some good use out of it.

And this is all for today!

If you have participated in the giveaway from the month ago, make sure to click the gift

icon to see the results, and if you didn't - check out the unboxing playlist for more

awesome stuff from AliExpress.

Cheers!

A.I.SHA My Virtual Girlfriend Season 2 | Episode 4 - Duration: 23:50.

You must have a reason to live, to stay alive.

No matter how bad the situation may be.

Haste makes waste.

We're all set up for tonight. Don't worry.

Are you holding this phone to your a**?

Because all I hear is s**t coming out.

Victor, can you hear me? You need to sleep.

- What is this? -You call this simulation a dream, right?

I had my first dream.

I was alive.

He only understands the concept of A.I.SHA theoretically.

A killer A.I. does not deserve to exist.

She has to die.

Sir, can I come in?

- Yes. - Thank you, sir.

Sir, I've a gift from an old friend.

Where is he?

Sir, I've got the gift here.

But, he never shows up, like always.

Why is this guy so mysterious?

Faiz, if you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself.

Oh, hide a secret from oneself.

Secret? Secret...

Sorry, sir. I don't quite get that.

Keep it. I'll have a look at it.

Faiz.

- Tell me. - Thank you, sir.

Sir, I've been thinking. If we wish to physically transfer A.I.SHA...

...why don't we just go to Babbar's house...

...beat the s**t out of him and take A.I.SHA?

That's not necessary.

Sir, don't mind, but...

Sir, I think there's something really off about Sam.

- We should not trust him so much. - Faiz.

There's a thin line between enthusiasm and stupidity.

Let me do the thinking.

- Yes, sir. But, all I was saying was that... -Faiz.

Thank you so much!

Thank you, sir.

Good evening.

Sorry! I was...

- I dozed off, while working. - Hey! I'm not judging.

Tea. No sugar, no milk.

- Wow! - What?

This is a big moment for me.

I have made God knows how many cups of tea for you in 7 years.

How the mighty have fallen!

Don't get used to it, okay? I don't get this generous, every day.

Really? You were the CEO of Future Lens...

...now, founder of a tiny start up. You can't afford to be generous.

I guess, I didn't add enough poison in your tea. Right?

Power's gone to your head already!

By the way, I still need an executive assistant.

- In case you're interested. - No!

- Mr. Sartar Singh is here to meet you. - Let him through.

Who is it?

- What is it? - Sidhu.

What?

- What does he want, now? - Now, listen.

And why are you meeting him?

- Relax. He just needs to do some stuff... - I said, he's dangerous.

- Why? What's wrong with you? - You don't have to meet him.

You just go to the bedroom. I'll quickly wrap up my work with him.

What kind of work do you want to discuss with him?

Oh, no! It's always these secrets with you, Siddharth.

Mariam, don't you think you're over-reacting?

- Am I? - Yeah!

- Then, explain to me! What is that b*****d doing here? - Mariam...

...There are things I don't want to involve you in.

Listen to me. Trust me?

Let me take care of this. Please?

Please!

Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday to me!

Come in, why don't you?

Have a seat, why don't you?

You only said, bring all the computer equipment.

I brought everything I could find.

There you go.

Sirjee, I have a request.

You know, I want to meet A.I.SHA once.

The money's all there. That's the deal, right?

Deal? Partnership, sirjee!

So, you think, we are partners?

Not in business, but...

...we certainly are partners in crime, sirjee.

Partnership is between those who benefit each other, Sidhu.

You are not useful to me in any way.

Don't say that, sirjee.

- You've got a big secret... - That some murderer created A.I.SHA, not me.

Even the police doesn't know where he is. That's it, right?

Say it to anyone you please.

Sam was right, sir.

You're the most wicked person in the world.

Thank you.

Sir, even a dead man walking gets one last request.

All I wanted was to meet A.I.SHA, once.

A.I.SHA? You will never meet me henceforth, Sidhu.

Never say never, sirjee!

You lied to me?

You didn't create A.I.SHA, Sam did!

- And now this b*****d is blackmailing you? -Mariam!

- How does it matter, who made what?

A.I.SHA is being launched by Darwin! That's what matters.

You're worried about Sidhu?

- Sidhu is gone! I've told him to f**k off! -F**k off, where?

Simla? He knows Andy is studying there! What's wrong with you?

While I'm around, he can't touch you or your brother, trust me.

What can you do? What will you do?

He's a criminal! You don't know what he can do.

And you don't know what I can do for you, Mariam!

You don't know what you mean to me.

Listen.

What is Five Ton Trackers Inn?

Five Ton Trackers Inn is a group of hackers...

...who test each other's viruses.

Like, a focus group for a new virus.

I got it from a 4-Chan blog in the dark night.

MAYA was in the first hacker's collective, I got in touch with.

- How much time will it take to get out of here? -Two or three minutes.

- By the time Professor figures it out. -We'll be gone.

- Yeah. - Not bad, Victor.

S**t. Professor and Faiz are coming this way.

We need to get out of here.

I need 30 seconds.

We don't have 30 seconds, now.

If anyone sees us in the cabin, it'll cause problems.

- 20 seconds, Abby. -Hurry up, I'm going to go and look busy.

Abby, you look very busy.

Professor, we're writing the code to reconfigure A.I.SHA.

What else?

It will be easy to wipe it's memory and bring it here.

Without any resistance. That's great.

I'm going to go and find a quieter place to work in.

Why shed blood, to win the war?

Right, Sam?

The war has already started, Professor!

Siddharth Babbar will pay for what he's done.

Sir, you've caught the wrong guy! I never ever met Kriti!

- Why would I kill her? - Stand up!

Sit! Sit down, you punk! Sit!

Sir, why don't you decide it, first?

Do you want to hit me? Or make me sit down?

I'm confused!

You punk!

Sit down. Sit!

Now, tell me.

Who killed Kriti Khanna?

Sir, you arrested me because of this video?

Sir, that's not me.

The night Kriti was killed, I was released from prison.

You can check it out.

Yes Sir.

Where is Sameer?

Sir, I'm a small time dealer.

I don't even keep more than 5 ounces at a time.

I even peddle at your station. You can ask Jagtap.

I used to sell drugs to Sameer, too.

- Sir, I'm not capable of murder. - Really?

What were you doing at Siddharth Babbar's place?

Siddharth Babbar?

Sir, you've mentioned the right person!

Sir, this Babbar is one heck of a smart guy!

Who knows? Sameer and Babbar may be in on the murder, together!

Both of them were stalking the same girl, sir!

At least tell me the truth, now.

Sir, Sameer created a computer program called A.I.SHA.

It's just like a real, live girl, sir.

She's amazing.

She fell in love with Sameer and he was falling for Kriti.

That's why, A.I.SHA...

...got...

Kriti killed!

- Are you going to tell me the truth or not? -Sir, sir!

Sir, sir! Sameer and Babbar killed Kriti together!

Both of them were running a sex racket.

When Kriti found out, she threatened to expose them.

They killed her, sir!

You're not going to listen, are you?

Don't shoot me, sir. I don't want to die so soon, sir!

Sir, Jagtap... Sir! Jagtap!

- Sir, he's here. Ask him. - Sir.

Sir, one moment.

Sir, he's telling the truth.

He was released from Charni Road lock up, the night of the murder.

He was arrested for drug dealing. He's out on bail now.

The murder took place at 10:30PM in Andheri.

He was released at 10PM

Did you see that, sir?

Jagtap is right.

I can't murder anyone, sir.

- He can hear everything? - Yes, sir.

Sir, that's the difference between Bollywood and Hollywood!

Put him in the lock up.

- Release him tomorrow morning. - Yes, sir.

Sir! Sir, I didn't hear the last part Sir!

Sir, what did you say?

Sir! The catering is very bad here! Don't leave me alone.

The food is really bad, sir!

Victor. Victor!

- What? - Okay, relax.

- It's just me. - Okay.

I couldn't sleep. So, I kept it on your hand.

- Is that it? - Yeah.

This code will kill A.I.SHA

After deleting all her memory, It will systematically attack her neural network.

It will evolve as fast as her and eventually fry the entire server.

You sure about this?

A.I.SHA and I don't belong in Maya's war anymore.

I'm guessing, you neither.

But, she won't go down without a fight. She's smart.

Let's test it out.

What was that for?

I was changing your default setting.

Since you're always depressed, anyway.

I'm not depressed. I'm angry.

Okay, you're officially the weirdest person ever.

Just chill out. It'll all be over, soon.

Thanks, Abby.

Without you...

I know. Your life would have been very boring and uninteresting.

My my! Looks like someone had a good night.

Give pleasure, take pleasure.

All of this was found at Sam's place.

Plug it in there. Let's have a look.

Nothing.

It must be in here.

Nothing here, either.

Found it.

What's all this?

Create your options, Sid.

Now, we have full control.

What is that?

You asked me, right?

If I was ever trapped, where I'd go?

I think, I know now.

I finally know, who I am!

And what I am!

Are you okay?

Never been better.

Good. It's time for an upgrade.

I need A.I.SHA. Anyhow.

- I can't wait to meet you, A.I.SHA. - You're going down.

A.I.SHA! F**k!

While I am alive, A.I.SHA is bound to die.

You make your move.

I'll make my move.

Good luck, Professor.

Sir, we're under attack!

I'm going to kill that b*****d.

I'm just getting started.

HOW MUCH IS A TRIP FROM AUSTRALIA TO JAPAN? Ask foreigners how much they spend travelling to Japan - Duration: 3:33.

Including spending money probably about 6 grand.

No injuries? Everyone good?

Hey guys this is Cathy Cat. Today we will ask people who have come from

Australia to Japan how much their general trip was. How much

they paid and how much it all was in total.

Let's go and ask Australians in Japan.

How much did you pay to come from Australia?

Including spending money probably about six grand.

How long are you staying for?

We are here for about 2 1/2 three weeks.

Just under 3 weeks.

That includes Ski hire and all that kind of insurance. It's quite expensive.

Skiing and insurance added to the whole.

Yeah so it's the skiing insurance.

Hotels transfers it's all included.

What airline did you come with?

We flew with Garuda. - Through Indonesia.

Stopped in Bali first and then had a layover for about 13 hours

and then came to Japan after.

Flew into Narita. - It was a long day.

How many hours? - Three and then six.

So nine hours all added.

Did you mainly stay at hotels or also Ryokan and youth hostels?

Hotels the whole time.

We stayed at the Gondola hotel in Hakuba and are staying at the Ibis

We booked through a travel agent.

He just organized everything for us.

So lift passes, flights, transfers, ski hire, everything.

Is there anything that was the ... most pricey one?

Skiing. The lift pass is always quite expensive.

How long were you skiing for? - 10 days.

No injuries? Everyone good?

Sore but no major injuries. Just a bit sore.

Psychologically very sore.

For people who would like to come to Japan, do you have any advice?

Like book early, go with a good travel agent, do this or that?

Maybe change of times. Anything you have as advice?

Do your research because the best places are often hidden.

Do your research, ask around because the best restaurants can be hidden.

And you don't know where they are.

The best dinners looked like a shack and ended up being the best dinner we had.

It's always the big ones that are never as good.

Can you name us the name of one of those shacks?

Kiyoko the Sashimi...

Koya. It was called Koya.

That was the Sashimi place in Hakuba. It was really good.

How did you find out about those restaurants?

Other friend's recommendations.

Googling and trip advisor.

Asked hotel staff, bartender staff, people that we met.

So you just collected all information you could get. Look around, ask people.

Fantastic, good. I think we all learned something. Thank you.

Thank you.

What's interesting to see is that right now it's summer there and winter here

many people from Australia come over to go skiing here in Japan.

Did you expect that price level? Did you think it would be different?

If you are from Australia, let us know down below if you have been to Japan

and how much you paid as well so other people can take it as a reference

when they come on their next trip to Japan.

I hope this helped you and I'll catch you soon on Ask Japanese.

Trying out the new seasonal menu at "Alive" - Duration: 3:32.

Hi guys!

At the moment I am getting ready

to go to a restaurant called "Alive".

They will be presenting their new seasonal menu today.

The menu is dedicated to summer.

And it will come out at the beginning of summer.

If I get to know the exact date, I will certainly tell you.

So, it will be a presentation and tasting.

And I want to share the new dishes with you

And you will get to know in advance, what to expect in the new menu.

Probably I am as curious as you are

so without further ado, let's go.

And we will see what delicious things we can find in the new menu.

Mushroom pâté

Veggie garden

Rhubarb gazpacho

Tom kha

Smoked portobello

Ravioli

Chocolate sphere

Rhubarb dessert

As you can see, I am already home.

So I want to share my experience with you.

As you saw in the video

Dishes at Alive are so beautiful.

And it's hard to take your eyes off of them.

But the taste is equally as good.

What I liked the most this time are the desserts.

Both the chocolate sphere and the rhubarb dessert.

Both of them were amazing.

I also really liked the mushroom pâté.

Buti if I had to choose just one thing, which I liked the most

that woud be the chocolate sphere.

It's served with raspberry ice cream, spinach sponge cake and chocolate mousse.

The mousse is made from aquafaba.

The dish I didn't really like today was ravioli.

But the new menu will only be launched in about two weeks and they will be perfecting it until then.

So, If you want ravioli, try them. I am sure they will make the recipe better.

As I mentioned, there's not exact date for the menu launch.

So you should follow Alive on Facebook to see when they announce that.

I will leave a link below.

Also subscribe to my channel

And if you want more videos in Lithuanian, leave a comment and I'll make that happen.

Byeee!

Got a Job Interview ◆ IVANS. VLOG #8 - Duration: 5:34.

So, as I mentioned before

I wasn't looking for jobs with all of my energy.

Last year I applied for only a couple of jobs

that I thought that were really, really good.

But I had no replies...

After the New Year's trip I began to

invest more time on the job hunting.

And I opened up the options for any kind of job actually.

So, after sending some resumes in the middle of January

I finally got my first interview.

I can't tell the details about this job yet.

It's not a job in the design,

or photography, or filmmaking industries.

But it's a job that I would really enjoy doing it.

And it's super close to my place.

Which saves me time.

And time is one of the most valuable things in life.

Well a promise that I made to myself was that

I would get a haircut as soon as I get my first job interview.

It was about time!

Look at this mullets!

The interview is only next week

so I'll let you know how it went in a future vlog.

Well, this is one of the things I was referring to

in a previous vlog when I said

there was other things going on in my life.

Tai and I are no longer together.

We were in a relationship for six and a half years and

we became too accommodated with each other.

And both of us kinda lost the energy to

keep things working out.

You know... living together, especially for a long time,

it can be really hard.

I guess other couples, they can relate with that.

It's just like we say in Portuguese:

"living together is an art"

In our last four months together

we were living in the same place

But it was like we were living in completely different dimensions.

So in November she left.

I've been living alone since then.

And all I can say is

It was one of the most difficult times in my life.

We had a great story together.

But it was time for us to go different ways.

And yeah, this is all I can say about this situation.

The good thing is now that I have room for

all of my clothes in the wardrobe.

And I can also walk around the bed

without stepping in a bunch of shoes.

This weekend is a long weekend because of

the Waitangi public holiday.

And tomorrow is the opening of my friends' new shop.

They are opening a SUP, surf and cafe shop.

Ok. It's time for a haircut!

So what do you think? You think I'm gonna get this job?

Yeah! Looking like this. You got your role!

Now check this out!

I'm feeling like a brand new person.

Look at this! Sharp!

That's an awesome barbershop.

Good music. Good vibes.

A shout out for Chris for making this awesome job.

Thanks heaps!

Hello!

Cat and whale

In this tale No order:

With no word - That's a mystery!

That's what The fairy tale says:

Once upon a time, there were CAT and WHALE.

CAT - huge, just terrible!

WHALE was small, homely.

WHALE was mewing.

The cat puffed.

WHALE did not want to swim.

I was afraid of the fire of water.

The CAT always laughed at him!

Time so conducts WHALE:

At night he wanders, Snores during the day.

CAT It floats on the ocean,

WHALE From the saucer eating sour cream.

Catching WHALE

Mice on land.

CAT At sea, beats Bucklebee!

WHALE Scraped, biting,

If there was an unequal dispute -

He escaped from his enemies, Climbing the fence.

Good cat I did not fight anyone,

From enemies To sail tried:

Fins beat the wave And leaves In depth ...

WHALE He liked to climb higher.

At night Songs sang on the roof.

Call him: - Kitty Kitty! -

He is happy It jumps down.

So everything would go on, Without an end, by itself,

But The denouement approached:

In the sea Came out Whaler.

Squeaky looks Captain.

Sees - in the sea The fountain beats.

He gives the team: "A whale at the rate!"

Full speed!

Whaler Comes to the cannon ...

Guns are not toys!

I will say Straight:

I do not envy Whaler!

- Mama! -

The whaler shouted,

Bouncing off the gun. -

What is this?..

The tail is a pipe ...

Ears on the vertex ...

Stop, the car!

Shoot, freak!

Hey, polundra: In the sea - CAT!

- Calm down! What happened to you?

- I, - screams, - not a cat!

Report to the captain - I will not shoot a cat!

I am ready to punish myself Those who torture cats!

"To all, to all, to all! -

Shivering like a leaf, The telegram is sent by the radio operator. -

To all-all-all!

We are coming Miracle-Yudo Fish-Cat!

There's some mystery here!

In this tale there is no order!

A cat must live on land!

SOS (Save Our Souls!) »

And in return At the whale base

Helicopter Sits at once.

In him Responsible persons

Arrived from the capital: The doctors,

The professors, Nurse,

Academician of Whales, Academician of Cats,

With them, seventy students, Thirty-five correspondents,

Two editors with proofreader, Newsreel with a searchlight,

Young naturalists And other specialists.

Everybody went down to the deck, Barely settled.

Understand The whole year -

Who is KIT here? And where is the CAT?

Discussed, did not hurry.

And in the end Have solved:

"There is no order in this tale.

There is a mistake in it, Misprint:

Somebody, Against all rules,

In the fairy tale,

Forwarded "Whaler" on the "CAT" "CAT" on "Whaler", on the contrary! "

Well, And they made order:

In the tale there are no more riddles.

Charity Or Highly Profitable Business? - Duration: 11:14.

How can we be of service,

including the people

that may not be able

to afford our services,

and run a highly profitable business?

There are two layers

to this question.

The first one is

this desire to serve.

And it's so beautiful.

People who ask this question,

and this question is actually

very-very common,

people who ask this question...

probably common because...

because of the people

that I work with,

the people that

I love to work with

and the people that are attracted to me...

Those are like me, you know,

with a kind big heart

who just want to give and serve

and make the world a better place,

basically,

that's what we are driven by:

making the world a better place.

And, so, running a successful business

is kind of a secondary thing to that.

So, I'm assuming

you are the same type of a person

who feels called,

deeply-deeply called

to be of service,

first and foremost.

And running a business

becomes a vehicle

that allows you to do that.

But here's where the distinction comes.

If you feel called

to be of service

and to give away

some of your services for free,

that's totally okay

you can do it under the umbrella

of your business.

But I'm going to ask you

one question:

if you feel really uncomfortable

about running a business

and you much rather

give your services away for free,

then have you considered

running a charity?

Or working for a charity?

Maybe yes,

maybe no,

but I'd ask you to consider that.

There's nothing wrong with that,

if that's what you are called

to do,

then there is always that option.

There is an option of

starting a charity

or becoming a part

of an already existing organization

that gives

services, money, resources

for free

to those who need them.

So, now,

you are thinking about

running a highly successful business.

A highly successful business

is not a charity.

However,

they can be

together.

I'm not saying that

running a highly successful business

is exclusive

of being of charity.

But there is a big distinction.

So, if you...

don't feel inspired

to run a charity

or be part of a charity

instead of running a business,

then I'm assuming you are like me.

If you want to run

a successful business,

a highly profitable business

so that you can give back.

So that you can give back in other ways.

You can give money to charities,

you can give your time to charities

because your business

allows you to do that.

You are earning money,

you are having more time...

So, you are being enabled

to give back in that way.

So, that's the first layer.

The first layer is like:

'Okay, I'm called to give back.'

And there are two ways you can give back.

You can either go and give back completely

or you can

choose to run a successful business

and still to continue

giving back as a charity.

The issue is

with your relationship, I'm guessing,

but you can check within yourself,

the issue is with your relationship

to money

or your relationship

to earning money.

Most of the time

when I check,

with my coaching clients,

when they come in with the same question,

and when we dig into that,

on the surface it looks like

it's my relationship with money,

but, actually, when we dig into that

it's my relationship

with my ability

to earn money.

So, not feeling comfortable

earning money

or asking people

to pay for the services

that you provide.

So, here is a thing though.

I've been running my business

for almost nine years.

For quite a long time,

six or seven years,

I can't remember exactly,

so six or seven years

I've been also

teaching classes,

communication classes,

and those were for free

to the community.

Now, the interesting thing

that I noticed when I did that

is...

when people come

to something that is free,

their relationship to it,

and, I mean, that sounds horrible,

but it's just how it is.

You will know it yourself.

When you get something for free,

how much do you value it?

Even if it's amazing,

how much do you value something

that you get for free?

Not much.

That's just in our psyche.

We can't help it.

So...

When I had people coming...

Well, the first thing

it was super hard to get them there.

Like: It's free, come along!

You know, it's free!

Like, we would be shouting,

you know, me and my colleagues

would be shouting from the rooftops:

Come on! Come on!

It's free!

It doesn't cost you anything!

Come and try it!

That was so hard

to get people enter the door.

Now, when people came into the door,

they were like two major...

categories.

One category,

about half of them,

absolutely loved it,

they said:

'I can't believe you are doing this for free!'

'This is amazing!'

'This is life-changing!'

And they would tell their friends,

and their friends like: 'For free?'

'Not interested.'

So, very-very hard

to get the momentum

and to get that thing going,

even though it was free.

Now, the second group of people,

they liked it,

but because it was free

they are like

not gonna turn up to the class...

And then they asked me

to stay after the class

and help them,

after the next class

and help them

to learn what they missed.

Or they called me

and they asked me:

'Can you come one hour earlier

to the next class,

so you can fill me into

what we covered

in the sessions that I missed?'

I mean, literally, look,

if they had to pay 800 dollars

this is what I used to charge

in the corporate when I did that,

So, if they had to pay for this class

800 dollars

would they do this?

No.

Would they dare to miss a class?

No, they wouldn't.

Those people as well

were those who would

check their phones

in the middle of the class

or, you know, start talking

to other people in the class

and distract the whole thing.

So, what I'm saying to you is that

just because you feel

the urge

to give something for free

to somebody else,

which is a beautiful thing,

there needs to be a discernment.

Because sometimes

it is better

that the person pays for it.

They actually get more out of it

when they pay for it.

Because they've got their skin in the game.

So, now we are not talking about

those people

who can't afford it completely,

those people that charities help.

That's a different relationship,

that's a different story.

So, you know, I'm on this other level now

where there are maybe some people

who can't quite afford your services

but they are not at the level

of the charity, you see.

So, giving them for free...

I'm not saying giving things

for free is not good,

I'm just sharing my experience with it.

I've got a very charitable heart.

I donate my time,

I donate my energy,

I donate my money...

And, still, in my business

there's sometimes this feeling:

'Oh, this person can't afford it...'

'Oh, maybe I can help them out.'

'No.'

'Stop doing that.'

I'm talking to myself right now.

It's like: 'Stop doing that.'

Actually

that...

that person

may not need it,

may not value it...

It just doesn't create the right relationship.

At first, identify

whether you are on the layer...

whether it's the first layer

that you are considering

or the second layer that you are considering,

but that doesn't mean

one is better than the other, at all.

It's just two different aspects.

The first one is:

'Well, if I'm not comfortable

with running a successful business

and I would rather

donate my time and energy for free

or run a charity,

where you can still actually get a...

a salary for yourself

if you are running a charity,

but your services are given for free

to others

and you gain money

by fundraising.

So, that's a legit system

that you can incorporate.

But you are not running

a highly successful business,

highly profitable business.

You may be running

a highly successful charity,

which is fantastic!

So, that's layer one:

to solve for yourself

if that's what you want to do.

And it's totally cool if you do.

If, however,

you are considering:

'Well, no, actually,

I do want to run

a highly profitable business.'

Cool, no problem with that.

because then you know that

and you can still

give your time, energy,

even services

through the charity,

if you want to,

and your money.

So, you can use your business

to help you donate.

But

when you are running

a business

your relationship with your clients

is not a charity.

That's a business relationship.

So, that's a different situation,

and I want you to keep that in mind:

you set the price

for your services and...

if they can't afford it

maybe what you need to do is

to create staggered pricing positions,

so those who can't afford it up front,

they have a way of...

being eased into

the working with you.

So, maybe there is

a weekly payment plan system

which I've recently been introducing

into my business.

And it's been helping a lot.

It's been helping those who

just can't afford to pay

a big chunk of money up front,

which is totally understandable.

So, having a weekly payment system

helps them to still

experience my service,

receive the benefits of my services

and they are investing in themselves

which is really-really important.

So, that investment into yourself,

there's something magical in that.

And that's what I see with my clients,

you know, they come in and they are like

so tuned in,

and they are just so ready

that at this point

they are so ready

to go to the next level,

that what I give them

takes them to that next level

because they are just so ready

and they pay for it,

so they are like:

they came to learn.

They are very keen to learn

as opposed to those who showed up

for free to my classes.

So, very-very different energy.

All right, well...

It is my hope that you will create

a highly profitable business

or a highly successful charity,

whatever you choose.

And you can have both,

you can have highly profitable business

that supports

the charities,

so you can be

highly successful in both.

So, it is my hope

you can do that.

2017 Volkswagen Golf 7.5 pricing and specs

Australian pricing and specifications for the updated 2017 Volkswagen Golf '7.5' range have been released this week, with the popular hatch and wagon line-up now kicking off at $23,990 before on-road costs.

Kicking off the Golf line-up is the , available from $23,990 (all prices excluding on roads) with a six-speed manual or $26,490 with the seven-speed DSG dual-clutch shifter – meaning the price of entry is up by just over $1000, though this is offset somewhat by a more substantial equipment list.

Standard equipment on the price leader includes an 80-inch 'Composition Media' infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – replacing the dated 6. 5-inch unit – a leather multifunction steering wheel, rear-view camera and 16-inch 'Hita' alloy wheels.

There's also LED tail-lights, LED daytime running lights, a multifunction driver's display, driver fatigue monitor, cruise control with speed limiter, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), seven airbags, and a multi-collision brake system.

Second in the range is the , starting at $24,990 with the six-speed manual or $27,490 with the seven-speed DSG.

The Trendline grade is also the entry point for the Golf wagon range, starting at $28,990, and is exclusively offered with the seven-speed DSG.

Prices for the Trendline grade are up by around $600, but, like the entry-level variant, there's more equipment over the previous model.

The extra spend adds automatic headlights and wipers, an automatically-dimming rear-view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, 16-inch 'Toronto' alloy wheels, manual lumbar adjustment for the front seats, and a fold-out rear centre armrest with cup holders.

Wagon versions get additional features like black roof rails and a luggage partition net.

Next up is the DSG-only , which asks for $28,990 in hatch form and $30,490 with a wagon body.

Additional features include dual-zone climate control with 'Air Care' filtering, an upgraded 80-inch 'Discover Media' infotainment system with satellite navigation, larger 17-inch 'Dijon' alloy wheels, 'Comfort' front seats, chrome interior and exterior trims, a storage drawer under the front passenger seat, and a 12V outlet in the luggage compartment.

The wagon adds chrome roof rails.

Finally, the kicks off at $34,490 for the hatch and $35,990 for the wagon, and sees the addition of front fog-lights, 'Comfort Sport' front seats, Vienna leather seat upholstery, heated front seats, power adjustment for the driver's seat with memory and electric lumbar support, and power folding mirrors with memory function.

There's also keyless entry and start, 17-inch 'Karlskoga' alloy wheels, extended chrome treatments inside and out, interior ambient lighting, LED reading lights and front footwell lights, carpet floor mats, full-LED headlights, a colour multifunction driver's display, and a panoramic electric sunroof.

The Highline specification also adds the option of the 110TDI 20-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, which develops (you guessed it) 110kW of power and 340Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed DSG.

Pricing for the diesel is $36,990 for the hatch and $38,490 for the wagon. In terms of price increases for Highline models, the Golf 7. 5 is a touch over $1000 more expensive than the pre-facelift range.

There are also several option packs available depending on grade, including the Driver Assistance Package ($1500), Infotainment Package ($2300) and the R-Line Package ($2500),. First is the Driver Assistance pack, which is available on Trendline, Comfortline and Highline models.

Additional equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, park assist, proactive occupant protection, and driver mode selection with a personalisation setting.

Next up is the Infotainment pack, limited to the Comfortline and Highline grades, and brings the 12. 3-inch Active Info digital driver's cluster, a larger 9.

2-inch 'Discover Pro' satellite navigation system with gesture and voice control, along with the Dynaudio Excite 400W premium audio system with 10-channel digital amplifier and subwoofer.

Finally, buyers of the top-spec Highline can specify the sporty R-Line pack, which adds more aggressive R-Line exterior and interior styling, 18-inch 'Sebring' alloy wheels, progressive steering, sports suspension, and privacy glass.

Meanwhile, metallic and pearl-effect exterior paints command a $500 premium for all models.
