- hi everybody my name is Adam and today
welcome to tutorial is the Premiere Pro
CC 2017 tutorial today I'm gonna be
teaching you guys how to sync cop which
is basically editing to the music this
is what it looks like okay so I'm in
Premiere ni and I'm going to show you
guys how to sync up and into the music
so first I'm going to do is I'm going to
import my size just create a new project
here and premiere as you can see here
this menu project just named it on
titles because I'm not really going to
be doing much public after teaching you
guys how to do this so what I do is I'm
going to take the footage that I'm going
to be using to st. cut and I'm just
going to drag it on here to end port it
you can go edit import or you can just
simply drag it in that's what I do just
dry it and then it will go import in the
files here and next thing I want to do
is select your song I'm using this song
here not giving up explicit version by
just offer no so I don't have Ernst that
name but I have a saved here in the
desktop so I'm going to just take it
from here and drag it straight into
premiere of course again if you want you
can go file import which is that even
I've never I rarely ever do this import
and you can select your file from your
desktop where you have it saved to
import it in so it's going to conform
all your clips down here at the bottom
and that once those that you can get at
it and do you want that was about a
punch about about boom you know whenever
you're watching a clip or a video the
reason why the blank cut works better
than just piling all your clips and
probably killer and not second cut it's
more pleasing to the eye it's more more
enjoyable to watch the viewer and I just
send a lot of my blogs going to see my
blogs and check my my what I'm going to
do is going to just create a new
sequence know from my tiny legs going to
right click and new sequence from clip
which means this creates a sequence on
your project and it basically makes it
specifically to that club so that Club
1080 the signals will be 1080 in this
case is 1080 at how many frames per
second healthy frames per second and
basically it's a time-lapse but it's a
video time-lapse so when I play through
this year the video will move up here
I'm going to set this part over here to
set a full month with your quarter so it
doesn't
use off as much of my RAM so it's an
easily scroll through this with artists
you know crashing or out logins when
it's playing I'm going to go ahead and
delete the audience I'm going to press
alt and then click on the audio which
will separate it I'm just going to click
delete and that will delete the audio so
now all we have here is a video clip
next I'm going to do is we're going to
bring in the audio music here we go
demand from down here
now you want to normally do is I want to
get the video out of the way first could
you want about interface we want to
listen to the music and then that's
where we determine where the cups are
going to be we don't listen to music and
every time a your a beat or a drop I'm
going to cut there okay so there is a
few in there my zoom an even closer here
so it's more about one there okay the
see if you zoom and you can actually see
the waveforms of the clips right here
night if I move using the arrow keys
right and left right up to where I see
that you know waveform hutton if you
press the letter C on your keyboard gets
up the razor blade tool and then when
you click it will automatically click
create a cut on your music on your audio
right before the wav format so if I
press vino bringing back to the RO if I
pull this out you can see that I've
actually separated that Club that's the
only reason when I'm cutting it up is to
let when I have this snap function all
over here's the side now I pull the
video and it'll just simply snap right
up where I want it to be so not trying
to estimate exactly what's going to a
you want to the bass exactly so I'm
going to pull that back control-z on do
it we're going to do this for every
single one of these beats here okay so
go favorite of the song done I'm going
to start doing is dragging and the
actual you know the clips to my chops so
basically all you have to do is choose
the best prettier clubs because you just
sort of second-annual plus and the

little bit of you know setting off your

want the good footage to happen you

press scene or keyboards to get up the
cutting tool again and cut the video
right there it will snap exactly see
this sort of snap and timeline this is
snapping to each cut so if I want that I
could just cut on every single cut that
the song was on but I'm not going to do
that because I want to put on different
clips so I'm going to put this one up a
little layer and I say take this one
plop that one on delete the audio by
pressing alt that allows you to click
only the audio layer and bring it down
so if I do this 9 see that see that the
way it just right boom boom pod or you
want to go every single bait and that's
how you get it to match cut so those do
you know animate so there's two here so
I'm going to bring it back and forward
and back as it's sort of the same sort
of showing the times it's going down but
after that it's all about getting the
the feel of the music because whenever
you can get the feel the music that's
when you can get the feel of how it's
gonna look if that makes any sense and
whenever you're choosing I see music for
your videos as well an advice that
choosing a song that matches the footage
rather than a song say you had some sort
of peaceful you know lake on whatever
off cell peaceful going on in the video
and then you kind of some rock music
going on same timer would give me maybe
sometimes we give a comedy effect but
I'm going to continue now and place more
cuts where the videos are and maybe put
a little bit of wind melon I'm also
going to introduce a time-lapse with the
time-lapse on the beat as well so it's
not only say cotton but a time-lapse in
Libya which as a sign code but as they
see that actually going to bring it back
to this one see this here this part here
is what I call action moment there's a
slight movement here you can see see the
way it sort of move and down the cameras
pan and dials be sort of setting up the
camera before I took a shot and then
from that point on is where your actions
have them so you can just press C get up
the blade tool cut that out you can
actually pull it back it'll overwrite
what was actually already there before
and then you won't have anything there
so this is what helps to Fargo's like
this sense does

using this part here and the center here
scale it up right to the metal here I'm
going to add a little bit of a shadow on
to that this text right here turn it up
a little bit maybe add but more of a
size on the shadow and then we can use
this X&Y coordinates up here it's the
white position to move it more to the
center so that's that's your text own so
I need and once you create the text X
out of the corner and then you're able
to drag this right in here now you just
want to stick the text and anyway look
how weird this look so I do this okay
and then it's suddenly the tanks comes
out annoying you're like whoa what the
heck's is happened there what you want
to do is have the text actually sink as
well so if I pull this here you see
where this video clip is here I'm
actually going to pull this so it's
snaps in place of the actual audio so
now if we watch it back and say here see
how that it comes in on the beat that is
what a site Coty's so I'm going to do
this until I'll have a complete
composition on them even then whenever
it beats again you can have the right
and disappear and that's really easy
earlier to do it is there is the next
beat where I want it to disappear so off
to do is just cut the text layer and
then just to leave the end of it tonight
it will look like this and then I also
want the video to change when that
happens it's going to be foam bunk down
so it's gonna be more like
okay so now I'm going to teach you guys
the pain lapse think basically as what
is when the beat drops or when something
hurts when a beat hits the paymaster's

of doing time lapse the professional
wear of a better way to achieve a better
looking time lapse will be doing photos
but you can't slow it down and speed it
up and add it and so this is a reason
why I do video time-lapse but leave the
cameras and die and take a really long
video of a time lapse happen and that'll
be the sky moving here so what I do is I
will go right up to this costume I using
often down arrow keys that takes you
between each cut but if you play this
night I want the time lapse to kick in
person right here this is where all the
time loves to happen so I'm going to
color right here and the time lapse from
this point on is going to be a tiny
lapse and then I'll slow it down again
so what we're going to do is run it
randomly go the whole way out to the
edge say to here make a cut bring this
part and because we're going to be using
that part later and then zoom in here
I'm going to speed up the duration of
this Club which makes the frames go
closer together and that's how you get
time-lapse so I'm going to right click
on this speed duration and then I'm just
going to change the duration of the clip
because the speed and the duration or
length here as you can see this little
link thing so I'm going to change this
to zero zero and then going to put this
to say how long day I want to pain left
to last
I'll make the time left last two seconds
so let's shrink that whole thing down to
two seconds but because once it went to
right up to a thousand percent
it doesn't actually get to two seconds
so I'm going to go ahead nest it okay
and then change the speed duration again
right down to seconds so as far as got7
there we go two seconds I'm just going
to go ahead and render this should take
just a second okay so now let's render
we're gonna watch from the start and
just see how this works before we watch
it I'm just going to pull this part that
I took away from the end of this one and
so that it continues on as normal slow
video once the time lapse over so if we
watch this ayat will sync up to the beat
yeah basically that is the same content
as how you do sign cooked it's basically
chop up the audio to create sort of
guide length and then after you're done
if you want you can erase all the cuts
that you've done and just pull the audio
forward so it's a lot more cleaner in
your added sort of spell match up to the
music as long as it's all in line and
stuff but yeah that's how I add it to
music one of the most crucial things in
your head is also one of the most basic
things as well like if you were to watch
a clip on YouTube I don't think it'll
ever be the same thing over a few guys
when you see a clip you'll see some with
video and it just it won't match the
music like the beat will drop put the
video won't drop and it old it annoys me
anyway but it is lot more pleasing to
watch then you've got a sink cost going

My philosophy about patient care is that the needs of the patient come foremost and are
the most important so I want to always keep the needs of the patient at the center of my thoughts.
There's lots of things we can offer patients but that doesn't mean that any particular
procedure, any particular device, any particular treatment, any particular drug, is the right
drug for the right patient.
We have to treat patients with respect, we have to treat patients with empathy but also
have to always make sure that we are doing what is in their best interest.
I do all clinical and research things related to cardiovascular electrophysiology.
I am mostly interested in catheter based procedures as well as medical treatment of arrhythmias,
that are heart rhythm problems in patients, that falls within heart disease.
Catheter based procedures could include things like catheter ablation procedures to map and
treat ablate arrhythmias.
Medical treatment obviously includes medications and taking care of patients in the hospital
as well as in the outpatient setting.
The other big part of my clinical practice involves using or implanting devices.
So device based therapies, for example, pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization
therapy devices for patients with heart failure and so forth.
Another part of my practice is treating patients who are at risk of cardioembolic strokes or
blood clot related strokes generating from blood clots in the heart.
That can happen in patients with conditions like atrial fibrillation.
We have various techniques and tools to treat these including using blood thinners as a
catheter based procedures to ligate off the electrical appendage, which is the source
of these blood clots that can be removed from circulation using catheter techniques.
The favorite thing is the feeling you get, the satisfaction you get, by getting a patient
through maybe a procedure or even medical treatment and getting them to deal with their
heart rhythm disorder.
Doing procedures is very gratifying, especially in cardiovascular electrophysiology, because
you can make a difference in somebody who is beset with arrhythmia issues then these
can be young patients, old patients, patients who have other structural heart disease, heart
failure, or born with congenital heart disease or people with otherwise a completely normal
heart and they have palpitations, they might be light-headed, they have these episodes
where they're not feeling very well, maybe feeling fatigued and tired, bad quality of
life and you do a procedure and cure them of their arrhythmia and suddenly, they have
a new life.
So that's very gratifying.
What I've heard from some of the patients who have been very gracious in their appraise,
what they've appreciated is that I've explained to them, some of the patients who've
had multiple procedures and have been in various offices and various hospitals, they come back
and say "wow, you are the first one who really explained it to me.
You really broke it down for us as a family, for me as a patient and now I really understand
what's going on and how this procedure or this medicine, how that's really going to
take care of the situation for me.
