To conclusion that our trip is complete crap.
Somehow environment changed right? Its just that I am siting in one of Pripyat flats.
So last year I went to my single trip in to Chernobyl zone of alienation.
About what I made video, made photos. Everything was all right and everything was waiting for its time for me to start editing it all.
But certain things happened. A wonderful investigator, Svetochka, so that she would be attacked by hiccups,
by taking my hardware left me without certain date captured there.
Video I had backed up but photos I haven't even thought about, and obviously photos staid at hers disposal.
I still haven't got back my equipment. She is dragging all this, wants to make add salt in to my life.
But well, she is doing everything by the law. In the end I completely understand that video without photos will be not so good,
decided that I need to find free time and go to Chernobyl zone, to make those photos again.
In the end everything ended up through the ass. Because I found time but there were problems with car,
transport and people. First of all I am here alone but in the beginning there were 4 of us.
First of all in the stage of preparation dropped out friend, why she dropped out?
Oh, Andrew, for give me. I am again rushing out, yes,
forgive me, no way possible, bye my taxi just arrived.
And so 3 of us got left. On our way to Minsk we had to pick up our 3rd comrade.
We find out that – small accident happened.
My arm left me.
And 2 of us got left. Reached Chernobyl zone, got in to it, rain started to pour, which transformed in to wet snow.
Comrade just like both of us, got completely wet. Went further and comrade understands that health of his is way worse then mine and decided to turn back.
And so I got left alone.

I called this trip – a trip for the trip, because in the end I haven't reached my planed goal,
as I only re made photos of part of the photos that were done back then, because weather managed to disturb everything.
Then it appeared that ankle boots that I bought are letting through water very well.
And the calluses that appeared where making walks uncomfortable.
Then everything that was related to my long distance movement was causing precipitation,
now while I am sitting here outside is sunny and everything looks nice, but while I was traveling at night there was heavy rain.
Before that I spent 2 days on foot and there was rain, wet snow.
In the end I decided to capture something but lets admit – there is no interest in capturing same stuff for the second time.
So I decided to make this video of some sort prequel for that trip. Let it be like this.
That's why you are watching what was in 2016 and then there will be videos of my solo trip.
I believe it will be interesting. Lets go. The cup of tea for you.
Greetings my dear friends. I was planning to start capturing this
video series slightly later but situation that appeared basically told me – start filming now.
And so, we again are walking in to Chernobyl zone of alienation. 2016 end of October -26th, 1:02.
Everything is great. Description of situation – we are driving on amazing road from Ovruch town, everything is fine,
all you need is to have a good reaction as sometime such situations appear.
Most likely, not most likely but if be more accurate. Here when we were passing by were wild fires,
the upper layer of grass and leaves were burning and probably fire or hurricane that was here was braking this trees down.
We already saw lots of branches on our way, bushes and other hard to describe things were laying on the road, that's why it is constant slalom.
That's why it is good to have excellent brakes in the car and 4 eyes and good legs and brain.
If everything would be different it would be really sad, but okay – we are fine, but now we have somehow pull it away.
Most interesting was that 2 mins before this tree was that I said: it wont surprise me if we will encounter a tree on the road.
Nature-study. Perfect. It is dry as sand. Well only taking away branches is left.
After few minutes situation became way better so we can go further, I hope there wont be any more obstacles, but we keep our eyes wide open.
And here is the reason why everything is so nicely falling.
Well it is hard to see, but there are forests burning, weak but they are burning despite that it is already a late autumn.
As you may see the road is covered in branches and leaves and etc. sometimes we encounter larger branches or even trees as you may have see already.
Sometimes we face large road holes. Basically NFS underground, you ride and just take over everything you can. Obstacle road.
We are located on a check point that is located on the road that goes through Chernobyl zone of alienation.
Andrew went to check how to get through. Road block. Sign of radioactive danger.
Road between Ovruch and Ivankovo goes through the part of the Chernobyl zone of alienation.
There is located checkpoint and by idea when you pass it they have to issue you a paper with a time when you entered and at the exit you give it away.
Now is around 2 at night and it is obvious that no one gave us anything and just told us to go on.
The road it self goes through village Polesskoe. It people left it in mid 90s and currently you can see houses - abandoned houses
in which are nothing left and as I was here I can tell you that there is even less left here than in Pripyat.
Such is life. We are going further toward check point.
And so gentlemen, we left the car in secure place, reliable person brought us to boarder of the zone and now we will get inside.
Of course here is nothing to capture in such darkness that if I will see something interesting I will show it under dim light of the flashlight.
That's how entrance in to the zone looks like. Concrete column to which barber wire is attached and which goes like that and prevents access inside.
But its not for us. Our path lies behind it.
Video capturing after few hours, we are going over clearing for high voltage lines.
I am in such non standard packed view because it is good that I taught about brining the rain coat with me.
Mine rain coat is not that easily spot able but our tactical friend is easy to see but now it doesn't matter.
Large problem and those that often come here will understand – is that we arrived very late.
We got in at around 4 in the morning if I am right.
And it lead to the moment when the road that we go by was filled with cars and we had to detour from it and go through the forest.
And it is obvious that in the forest speed is way lower and my backpack is very heavy and we are walking very slowly and
that's why now we will get to the one house I saw on sat maps and we will wait until dark so that at
we could carry on our path to our spot where I wanted to get.
I am not even saying where we are going as I have no idea where we will manage to get.
Aww, what a cutie. 9:10. We are at Point of special processing - Rudnya veresnya.
Here we found not very large room, in which we decided to stay for the day time.
Comrade got trouble, it was very expectable. He has winter sneakers – they are warm on their own but
with such weather they collected a lot of water from the grass.
By idea my situation is slightly better but there is water in my shoes as well as
through the different holes… doesn't matter all the problem is from the grass.
And it is not very nice. Apart from that. Room. Such room – I swiped it slightly, we put sleeping bags.
Everything is slightly wet there is no Hermetic leaf on the backpack of comrade.
I would have put them in mine but there was not enough space. Because my comrade lets conclude is less
durable and has more compact backpack and therefore I have to carry part of the equipment.
It is very heavy and so my destiny is such. We slightly organized this room apart from swooping the floor.
Goshas rain coat we attached with armored tape so that from bellow wouldn't blow wind on another
side I inserted window but it was slightly broken so I covered it with a napkin.
It is so cute. Creates nicer environment.
As well here is broken unknown large yellow glass thing. I will now remove filter and you will understand.
This is a yellow glass very large chunk was of it. I have no idea what was done with it.
Lots of shards of this glass. But it doesn't disturb our lives.
Floors are more or less fine. There near the entrance they are more damaged.
But we now are going to heat up tea as we need to consume something warm and will try to take a nap,
but of course humidity is causing trouble as you may see.
At mean time behind the door was getting better and better.
Rain transformed into the snow and began to crap everything around.
The other word than crap is impossible to think off.
Tea, now we will begin to warm up.
Water is boiling.
Is that bad? Gosha is over – Gosha will now boil on its own.
Those that went to field trips will understand me. Those that haven't, lets say when you are wet, when you are cold hot tea is just perfect thing.
Better than this can only be the house. Probably only in such trips you understand that at home is good.
And when you sit at home -argh what a boredom I should go somewhere.
And here we drunk tea ate some bread and I hope we will manage to get some sleep.

17:30 we managed to sleep 8 hours it is hard to call a good sleep as we were constantly waking up because humidity was letting us know that it is here.
Feet were freezing, sleeping bag seems warm. I am wearing thermos clothes but still feet were freezing.
Constantly was pulling them closer. Logically partner isn't in better situation.
We are in very stupid situation because we had seem weather forecast and well everything is stupid, but things are as they are.
Lack of time of course is very strongly affecting us as we need to rush to the jobs and other stuff.
And so my comrade has a worse health than I and therefore he understood that he wont manage to hold up rest of two days that are left.
Because he is completely drenched and it all is sad. His shoes wont dry in comparison to my ankle shoes that will dry up on me if what.
That's why he will go back today. It was just a walk to Rudnya-Veresnya and went back.
And I will have to go further. Behind the window is winter there is snow, I think you can see the amount.
Snow is additional factor to get caught as footprints are left and if you go by the road then its fine but in Pripyat it self it will be even more spotable.
I hope that all this will somehow melt but for couple of days we are promised snow and only on my way back everything should get to normal and clouds move away.
That's why now we are preparing food. Eat, outside is getting darker in mean time and we go to the road and then our paths get split.
We will need to deal with few moment – he has to be picked up as he doesn't have money on his Ukrainian card,
this are the moments that have to be dealth with on our way and hope that there will be coverage.
In Pripyat, well in ChNPP is stations so will hope that they will reach us, but now usual home stuff.
Behind the door is already dark, we are eating here.
We have braised stew and couscous and magnificent… forgot its name… good thing.
Lets you, it has radiator and with low energy loose helps you warm stuff,
only problem is that its not mine and I am using it for the first time and I am maybe doing it wrong but I remove
this rubber to not burn it but maybe its not the right way because heat is very well spread through radiator
and from here goes chill air that's why I may be not right but just in case as its not mine I do it like this.
But I cant ask as I don't have mobile coverage. That's how we are living – not knowing doesn't bring you power.
And so comrades, we almost packed part of the things I gave to Gosha,
well its not part of items its part of provision because he goes back and for me this amount is way to much I would say.
Maybe I will even make some stash and will tell to someonefrom my people, because I have way to much
chocolate, instant noodles, macarons and etc. all because at the beginning it was planed to go in number of 3 for 5 days
and then 2 for 5 days then 2 for 3 days then 1 for 3 days, it all makes a large ass.
Everything was mixed up for one hundred times. And so now we are packing remaining and move out.
Part of the trash I burned and another half will be left to degrade. Because there is no option to take it with us.
And of course you may be interested by radiation levels. Where and how we are in here.
As you may see it, it is in goodlevels 12mkR/h so it is not that bad.
What can give up stalkers that they were in one of abandoned houses – swapped floor,
behind us is left like this. We are leaving this house.

And here I am alone.
Go on the road is certain problem as you constantly have to let cars to pass.
Now they are going not in a large numbers but still going. And most important is that they would see my foot prints.
or to be more accurate – would see me.
And that's how boars sound.
I will have to enjoy this pleasure for a long time (sarcasm).
In reality it is slightly scary when you go and out of nowhere hear such crunch.
Alarm. They are running somewhere.
Most important is that they wouldn't run after me. As it will be very unpleasant.
Now I really wish that car would pass by to scare them. But as always when you need them there is no one, so we just walk around them.
And there is full pack of them. Judging by all.
Chronicles of life, not whole time to go by the road for me.
Sometimes you have to pass check points and because of that I go, thankfully at least not through the forest, via such abandoned road.
There is slight amount of snow. Speed has drastically decreased and tiresome is fellable.
But there is nowhere to hide, we need to move on. Because to lay sleeping bag somewhere here and stay for the night is not an option.
And time isn't letting such stuff. Switching off torch to not get caught.
And so, I was walking for about 9 hours, in this trip I think I have no luck absolutely with everything.
Problems with cars, problems with people, complete disaster with weather. And one comes from another.
Maybe I had to apply hydro repellant to my ankle boots, never used them,
but my old shoes were probably with something on them as they weren't getting so intensively wet like this ones.
I came here wet. I was going from point to point. On a map was marking every few km where I will stop.
And I was going there, was resting, drinking water ate something and went further.
And so, step after step. Hour after hour. Km after km. I came to 3rd row.
Now I am siting in exact same place where I was sitting a year ago, slightly more.
You are currently not recognizing this place, it is saying nothing to you this fridge door.
But when to you will arrive, or to be accurate when I will edit and you will watch video about 3rd row then you will understand everything.
I was going to this place and was hoping that here nothing will change. No one will sell this fridge door or cover it with something or roof won`t fall down.
It wont drip in this place. But here everything is exactly the same just like it was a year ago.
Where I was hiding from hurricane. In exact same place. Now I will unpack.
Need to make some tea and go to sleep. I done a great job today.
I am drying my feet. Socks. Its probably visible how steam from them is rising.
I want to sleep in socks today, because previous night I slept without them and they were freezing.
Upgraded the process, now I don't need to hold my legs in air. That's how we are living.
We were buying gas for 5 days for 3 people and now I am alone for few days, 2 or 3 that's why I have enough gas.
And so I slept until 3 a clock then spent 1.5h to gather my stuff.
While ate, repacked and hid all my belongings and now I move out to 3rd row and hope that from the roof will manage to make few shoots.
It is very bad to go at night time as you spend whole day sleeping.
And day is short and in the end you don't manage to do everything. Such is my destiny seems like.
Just like a year ago I am approaching a giant of unfinished nuclear power plant it is very epic.
It is most epic abandon from all abandoned places. Last year I was walking here and was not understanding what, where, how.
Even now I don't understand much, despite that they all are typical on reactors rbmk1000.
But planning of floors is everywhere different. And I in the end not a nuclear specialist.
That's why it will be fun video probably. But okay, now our task until its not to dark is to get on the roof and make few photos.
And so, we are on the roof of 5th block. View to Chernobyl nuclear power plants all rows.
In this frame we can see second row of NPP and for me and I think for you will be interesting to watch how
arch has changed from September 2015 to October 2016, soon they will pull it up.
Amount of people will come here – omg. But I will be already working on work and wont see this beautiful sight.
I here decided to make a Periscope stream. Made few photos, photos are horrible because weather is not for photo shooting,
but decided to steam and guys ae writing something there. Want to organize a meet and so on.
Saw your videos on YouTube, you were in hospital. Yes I was in hospital and so on.
Comments are flying by and maybe someone from viewers will recognize him self in this comments.
Now comment capturinggoes straight by camera. How they are flying. And darkness descended very well.
By perimeter Chernobyl nuclear power plant is illuminated. Closer to us is located 1st power unit.
Then further we can see light above arch that soon will be pulled over.
Mom, I am on TV. Okay I turning off camera as.
This thing is called being caught, someone is walking not far away.
Maybe its stalkers maybe someone else. I was near them and heard male voices.
They were one floor below. I am sitting still and hide in here.
I got out without any problems you may guess as I am preparing food now. Few advantages from snow.
Or more like one advantage that I see is that from it you can make water. Clean water.
There is no need to filter it, take it from not very trustable sources and so on.
But snow has a disadvantage it is not as dense as water and so I will have to get out often for additional supply.
That's how evening looks like of mine on internet. Socks are dry.
Sleeping bag is laid down. Basically everything is ready to go to sleep.
But if be honest there is not much wish to sleep as I got used to go to sleep in the morning
but I need to as tomorrow will spend day on the 3rd row and at night will go towards Pripyat.
And so today I was sleeping whole day, and closer to its end captured a lot of signatures.
Made few photos under slightly better light and waited for the night.
Now will move out towards Pripyat. Almost everything is packed.
Part of junk is burned another part is carefully utilized.
Periodically… Outside today was sun but then clouds came but was no rain.
Now periodically is raining that's why in this trip my walks on foot are not so lucky. Its rain or snow.
But well what can we do. Tomorrow I hope all of this will end for me. But for now lets pack and move out.
I switch off my camera and hide it deeper so that it wouldn't get wet.
Next day, I am in Pripyat. What I want to say, I am winner through the life in this trip.
Every time I move somewhere I get washed by rain I spent half of the night under rain.
My feet again got drenched old calluses popped and newappeared. So that when I came I didn't want anything.
And today weather in Pripyat is what? Sun. you have a white screen. Sun, sun Karl.
And same was on a 3rd row. I went under snow towards it, under rain.
At 3rd row was sunny – cloudy. Nothing else.
When I went out. Rain started. I am angry. Dammit.
Well this is a trip for the trip. Because I only made 3 photos. 1/3 or even less from what I got planed.
With all free time I was fighting with precipitation,
walking from one point to another and etc. was drying shoes and similar. Its very unlucky.
Got to the roof and there tourists are walking. By idea you have seen such sight not once from my
videos and videos of other guys, but despite that its last frames captured by me.
Frames where we still see sarcophagus over 4th energy unit because in few weeks arch will begging to be pulled over.
And all of this will be hidden. That's why sarcophagus will slowly fade in time.
But that's good.
I think there is no need to say why.

Because the last one in which I was last year has already ended, it was burned this one is still in good condition.
So I left for the guys a message and some goods so they can eat.
I left the zone without capturing anything as there was no time for that and goal of trip was photos and not videos.
Time because of the weather was lost so much that I had to rush to get to work on time.
With this rush is tied story of one of my failures that I spoke about in my winner through the life on live channel.
