Jesse McCoy TTU Class 5309 Group Counseling Feedback Video April 22 2017 - Duration: 4:06.

Greetings Dr. Dalton and Dr. Lawson, Jesse McCoy here and this is my Feedback video for Class 5309-003, Group Counseling.

First and foremost, thank you for allowing me to be a part of the class and basically share me with my fellow classmates and yourself; although I never met Dr. Lawson.

Next, I think the method of delivery for this class should be more of an in-person type situation to enable full notice of people in the group to include body language displayed in the group.

Being in-person would allow members the opportunity to better identify and pick-up on any patterns that may exist from members of the group in order to grasp a better understanding of what is being said. In-person also form better relationships amongst each other.

I personally like shaking hands, giving friendly hugs, breaking bread, and laughing with others; these things I think make a more relaxed environment to allow communication to release and flow better.

But for the most part, we are able to listen, talk, laugh, give facial expressions and share information with one another that can weigh in on our emotions and feelings.

Our text was easy to comprehend and the group counseling DVD was on point, in which brought some good examples of the communication that place within group sessions.

I did find the class to be rather interesting in terms of efficiency, viewpoints, individual dynamics, commonality, vicarious learning (listening, observing), experiences, feelings, emotions, as well as openness.

Group Counseling allows the members to focus on the here and now.

Members of the group interjected into the group sessions that brought learning experience; members were allowed to share what was on their mind concerning the focus at that time.

Members of the groups provided feedback; feedback was accepted very well. Feelings were expressed genuinely, and I think relationships within the group panned out well as to be expected.

I learned from the group that counselors don't have to fix everything, but help the client guide themselves to a solution.

Include mindfulness activities to help cope with stressors. In group counseling, it is important to know your role and the role of the group members.

Maintain peace, focus, and be committed to creating an atmosphere the bring sense of belonging.

This concludes my feedback video overview, it was a pleasure to be a part and learn from the group.

How to bake a potato - Duration: 11:45.

this wonderful potato video hi I'm

Kristin from six sisters stuff calm and

the question today is foil versus no

foil when you put a foil on the potato

it steams it so it's really not baking

it so for a fluffy potato leave the foil

off today we're making parmesan roasted

potatoes this is the quintessential side

dish for everything fall plus it's one

of the most popular recipes on my blog

today I'm going to show you how to make

them from start to finish so by the time

we're done you'll have perfectly crisp

roasted potatoes

and today we will be baking tasty dinner

so let's do it list of ingredients that

i will use for this dish you can find on

your screen so let's start with making

potato rounds slices of mushrooms and

tomato slices now mix of Sun tablespoons

of sour cream is 1 tablespoon of deal

basil and Italian spices squeeze garlic

and add 1 tablespoon of oil mix it up

grease your baking dish with a bit of

oil and make a layer of potatoes sold

that are actually healthy yeah yeah this

is real this is real life okay I'm gonna

show you how so for this recipe you're

going to need obviously some potatoes I

like using these golden ones because the

skin is really thin and you can leave it

on it's nice and makes a little bit more

healthy to have the skin on there and

then this season salt which is probably

one of the best things on this planet

and then some trader joes chili lime

seasoning and then just a little bit of

flour and simply this one I'm going to

take each potato and I'm going to cut it

this way into three sections you want to

keep the pieces pretty thick because

that's the only way that they're going

to get crispy instead of soggy in the

oven which is crucial because that's

pretty much what makes this a life hack

is because they're crispy fries instead

of like your typical like not so good

baked fries so once you have them in

this shape then again we're going to cut

it into three pieces so they're like

this so this is what they will look like

when they're all cut up just little fry

shape like what shapes I'm going to

transfer the potato pieces into a pot of

cold water not boiling but cold water

this is the key to success here and now

I'm going to just turn up the heat and

let these cook and then once they boil

like literally the second they come to a

boil they're done you don't want to

actually cook the potatoes you just want

to partially cook the potatoes if that

makes sense and while those potatoes are

cooking go ahead and pre-heat your oven

in q4 it's been about eight minutes and

as you can see there are a few bubbles

that are starting to rise to the surface

so I'm going to go ahead and turn off

the heat and now we're going to just

take these to the strainer so if the

potatoes are cooked properly it should

still be firm and like not soggy at all

but a little bit soft like not falling

apart but you know not rock hard either

i'm going to put them back inside the

pot this is where the flavor comes in so

first I'm putting it just about a

tablespoon of flour you can use any

flour it's just to kind of give them a

nice coating so they brown and they

don't get soft and stick to the pan then

we're gonna add our spices like i said

this season salt just a bit and then our

main seasoning that we want to use is

the chili lime I mean you don't have to

you could just do regular salt or garlic

salt or whatever kind of favor you

prefer but I really like the chili lime

so I'm going to put the lid on got my

little bits and we're going to do a

little bit of a dance here and coke them

up my weapons jelly right now I think if

he's literally taking use that I and

then you just pour them out in a baking

sheet they should look like this they

kind of have like spices stuck to them a

little bit of flour residue and that's

fine now we're going to put into the

oven and as far as timing in the oven

goes it pretty much depends on how

crispy like your fries I personally like

mine super crispy so I'm just going to

keep an eye on it the pocket of being

there for like 25 to 30 minutes

then what I mean I keep checking on them

periodically with work see how they're

doing and then we'll be back oh look at

them they're done and they are perfect

so you'll see see how it is like a

crispy layer on it especially these

little end pieces they get really crispy

perfect and they have it perfect healthy

crispy no oil fries and I am serving

them with some just mashed avocado lime

and a little bit of garlic salt because

I feel like it really complements the

chili lime flavor so let's put it to the

test show perfect literally the best

I've ever made crispy on the outside

nice and soft on inside yes but they're

high in beta-carotene and other great

nutrients that are super good for

nourishing your body so this is a really

easy recipe that are just a few

ingredients and they bake in the oven

for under 30 minutes so something that

anyone can make it home so let's get

started

and that is it really simple recipe that

works great as a side dish on

Thanksgiving or for other holidays or

just as a finger food to snap on epic
