Video on yt: Waching daily Apr 21 2017

Hey everybody what the heck is going on my name is Usman and today I'm bringing you guys

a full tutorial on how to do the Shaolin Shuffle easter egg in Infinite Warfare zombies.

This is going to work wheter you wanna play solo, or with

2 players, 3 players or 4 players.

It does not matter, this is going to be a full full easter egg tutorial guide for Shaolin

Shuffle, and I'll be showing you guys all the spawn locations, steps and everything

like that.

Now if you are

someone that is looking to team up for this easter egg go ahead and drop your psn, gamertags

or steam ids in the comments below with a lil summary like if you have a mic or not

& what step is hard for you and reply to each other in the

comments and go from there.

Now before we get started.

I would really really apprecaite it if you guys could take 2 second to drop a like on

the video as there's a lot of time went into recording the gameplay, editing and making

sure

everything is correct and do consider subscribing to the channel we do daily videos and livestreams.

Now let's get this started.

Now the first thing you wanna do is turn on the power for the whole map, I have an uncut

video showing you

how you can turn on the power, and I take you from the spawn and it's an uncut and non

sped up version on how to turn on power in the map, I will link it down below if you

need it.

But go ahead turn on the power, get yourself some

points, juggernog and be on round 5 and now the first easter egg step is to basically

come up to the dojo on round 5 and talk to the sensie and grab one of the fighting style

you like and start completeing challenges for it.

We need to

use the shuriken on the rat cages around the map, so get 15 kills and complete the first

challenge which is really really easy and get your self to the next rank and unlock

the shuriken.

Once you've done it, talk to pam, make sure it's

round 5 or talk after round 5 and now the rat cages will spawn around the map.

Now find yourself one rat cage, there are couple of them, whichever one you find first

go from there, throw a shuriken on the cage and follow the rat, you

need to repeat that 5 times, once you complete it there will be a yellow circle that will

spawn on the map telling you you have done the second step.

And now you basically need to stay in the yellow circle and get some kills, it works

just like the soul jar, just get some kills, maybe even use your fighting ability to go

further into the rank and it will be much easier and faster for you to do this step.

Once the yellow circle disappear, that means you have done it

and now you need to go and talk to pam and simply go back to where you were trying to

get kills in the yellow circle, go back there and there should be a key drop, simply pick

it up.

And go to the subway where the train comes every now and then and you wanna unclock this

locker with the key that you just obtained.

It's the second subway outside the night club.

And now once you open the locker, there will be some

chinese symbols that you need to shoot in order, I will have a gameplay running in the

background in order and when you shoot it you will hear a gong sound meaning you are

doing it correctly.

Now the first one is going to be outside

spawn to the right of the Dojo up there, simply shoot the left symbol and it will make a sound

and make your way back and go to the disco and there will be a second one and it will

be in the bathroom of the disco, shoot the second

symbol out of the four.

Next one will be very close just outside the disco and it will be near lion statue next

to Deadeye Dewdrops perk and you need to shoot the first and second symbol.

It will have a close picture on the screen

that was upload on cod zombies reddit, it's close shoot of the symbols that you need to

shoot.

After that make your way to the dojo and just outside you'll see a logo on the floor, it

will only spawn in if you have done the last

step correctly, so definitely pick it up and you will see a rat king boss spawn in.

And this is going to be like a mini boss fight and the first time he actually spawn in and

mae sure you have one last zombie alive and make your way

in to this giant room where you can easily train and from what I've been hearing, and

it's my personal experience the starting pistol pack a punch won't do you any good in order

to kill the boss although just have it in order to clear

your path, but have second gun, something really good, maybe the mauler, pack a punch

it.

I will have a pack a punch and double pack a punch tutorial in description.

So go ahead and get yourself a nice gun, pack a punch it and

always for his head and take that son of a gun down.

He will take a lot of bullets and mauler is definitely prefered along with bang bangs.

So once you kill him, you don't actually kill him, but you temporarily kill him.

He will

drop a eye ball, go ahead and pick that up and just make your way to the dojo and talk

to pam and now we need to find some symbols.

I will have a gameplay running in the background, showing you each and everyone one of the location.

You

need to find 6 orange Rat King symbols around the map.

There are 6 symbols you need to shoot and there 13 different loaction.

You need to press L1 to use the eye that you just picked up to reveal

a symbol near you.

And there are 13 different locations, so shoot the symbol when you see it.

Only 1 symbol will spawn at a time and these can spawn in any order which can be a lil

frustrating knowing there are 13 different locations you

need to go to in order to find one, but I will be showing you each and everyone in the

gameplay, there are all around the map.

And once you find a symbol, it's going to be an orange one, shoot it and you need to

go again and search

all the 13 different locations to find your second one, and then you need to repeat that

4 more times, in total 6 times because there are 6 symbols.

It can be a lil frustarting if you do not know all the locations well, but once

you go through all of them once or twice it will be a lil easy and you can repeat the

same pattern as you just need to go straight because each and every possible spawn location

intertwines with each other.

And agian I will have

a gameplay running in background, me aiming exactly where the symbol can be, and I find

going from dojo to the disco rooftop is a best pattern to follow.

Now once you pick all of the symbols up a phone will start ringing and it will

play a morse code message.

You can listen to it how many times you want to, so definitely do.

And basically it will a have long beep sound and very short and quick beep sound.

Like long ones are going to be dashes and short ones

are going to be dots, it's gonna go something like that and everygame it will change.

And it will be something like this tun tun tt tt tt tt tun = dash dash dot dot dot dot

dash.

Now each game it will change, but it will only play 1 out

of 6 different morse code and the morse code is going to be one of these numbers.

So basically every first number for these morse code is different except for the number

4, there is 420 and 407, so what we're gonna do is listen to the

phone and translate that using this morse code translator right here, it makes it so

so easy, so what ever your first sound is, again it will be something like dash dash

doot dot dot, check what the first beeps are, write 'em down in

form of dashes and dots and translate that using this and whatever your first number

is, it's going to tell you the full morse code, you can double check everything if you

get the number 4, but once you get the first number correct you

will be good to go.

Now it's gonna be 1 morse code out of these codes and what ever number you got, you need

to find a summer poster for it and that morse code will be

written beneath the poster and and I will show you all the poster locations, there are

6 different locations, all poster will spawn on the exact location I'm going to show you

but the number on the poster will randomly spawn

every single game you're going to play.

Now the first poster can spawn in the spawn, the next one outside dojo, the next one will

be on the roof of heebie geebies, basically folow me along and go from spawn as all the

posters spawn in

in kinda like circle around the map.

The next one is going to be near bombstopers aka phd flopper right here, the next one will

be on the rooftop where quickies are aka speed cola.

And the last one is in the subway are outside the

disco night club.

Now once you see your poster pick it up and if the poster disappears from the wall that

means you've done it correctly, but however if nothing happens and you already interacted

with, that means you failed and

you need to repeat the last step of you find the 6 orange symblols and there are 13 different

locations for it and each symbol spawns in once at a time.

So you cannot fail this step, it's really frustrating that you have to do that

all over if you fail maybe in future this will get patched, but try to not fail.

Now once you have the poster come up here on the rooftop where quickies are and place

the poster on top of this spotlight and now you need to

explode that window, it's prefered that you got the starting room pistol double packed

and also having the mauler or any good wall gun.

So shoot it with the starting room pistols and now there will be ninja zombies that will

spawn

in, make sure to leave one zombie alive and take all the ninja zombies down and we're

on the next step which is going to be shooting some symbols and making a word, there are

couple of words you need to make, for example, nunchuck,

rat king, katana and there will be wierd looking symbols all around the rooftop, so make sure

you go in circle, take your time to see what symbol actually looks like and use this translator,

now not sure who made this, but make sure to

ignore the big grey letters in the background.

How are you going to follow is that, you need to look at the bottom there are letters for

example the first one is "A" and above it shows you a symbol, so if you shoot that symbol

on the

roof, you are basically starting word that will start with letter a, so definitely try

and make nunchuck, katana or rat king.

Preferebly rat king, so go around look for a symbol and look at this picture and look

r and the symbol

above, find that symbol in game, shoot it and you will have it.

If you fail, it's going to reset.

So complete this step and go to the heebie geebies rooftop and you will see a rat symbol

and this will start another mini boss fight,

simply kill him again and this will give you his brain pick that up and go talk to pam

again.

And that will start a new step for you, now when you talk to her, there will be a black

hole film reel type of stuff that will come up

and basically you need to survive about 3 rounds and once you do that you will be teleported

back and you will get this type of message saying missing film reel and you will be teleported

back outside the dojo and now you need to

kill couple more zombies.

Make sure you dont touch the fire as it will insta kill you make sure you use your starting

pistol packed and have them out right before you get teleported.

Now once you kill couple of zombies, there will

be a part that will spawn in that area, go pick that up and you need to put that in subway

and fix this thing right here which I do not know what you call it.

But put that part in and come up to this area where the bombstoppers are and

climb up and you need to shoot this symobol righ here, you do not need to use the rat

king eye, it will be there, simply shoot it and that will spawn those yellow soul jars

and there are like 5 of them and you need to collect

souls by killing zombies and as you do that, go to the next one, you need to just go around

the map and find every single one of them and collect souls.

You will know when you finish this because you will hear a gong completing

sound.

After that make your way into the disco and you will see a zombie dancing and he will

have a giant ball on top of him.

I heard sometimes it does not spawn, so what you have to do is go up stairs to the records

and interact

with it and the way this works is that, you need to

get at least one zombie on the disco floor.

And when you have at least one, shoot the zombie that has this giant ball on top and

the zombie will give his ball to the next one and you

need to repeat this several different times till you hear the gong completing sound.

It's pretty straight forward, just have to have one zombie on the disco floor, make sure

you go in one direction and you will be good to go.

And now we are on the last step before the actuall boss, simply make your way outside

the disco and you will see another symbol on the floor, interact with it and the rat

king will spawn in, kill him again and you will be picking

up his heart.

Now we are on the boss fight, whenever you're ready go talk to pam and go to the giant hall

the rat king sewer area which is near jugg.

Make sure you are fully full setup, get the reaver off of the wall, that's like the

best gun to kill the boss with and on solo if you ever go down pam will revive you,

in co-op she will sometime help revive, so in solo it's kinda easy but not sure how many

time she will actually help revive, so try not to go down.

But definitely try and be full prepared.

The boss fight will have 3 phases.

And

there's a trap inside as well, so use that every now and then and you will be able to

only focus on the boss.

Now first of all put as much bullets into him as possible, you simply just want to lower

his health till he goes up on the

balcony or whatever and you will see three things on the ground which you can interact

with in any order you would like.

So we have a eye phase, brain phase and the heart phase.

So if you start with the eye phase

there will be vision pulse that will go out every now and then automatically and you can

also use it manually.

So when you do that look up and there will be symbols that you need to shoot and clear

all of it up, the rat king will

regenarare while you are trying to clear it up, so you need to be really fast.

The heart phase is bassically you standing on the four different section on the the green

waste and killing at least one zombie, use your shuriken or

the starting pistol pack.

It's race against time, so try to be fast and get one kill by going over 4 differnt

sections.

The brain phase is very simple and easy, you will just need to kill teh yellow eye zombies

and shoot the

boss whenever you can and there will also be blue eye zombies and those are going to

be our allies so try to not kill them they will just go on the brain, so this step can

be done.

And after that you just gotta put bullets

into to the boss till he dies, wach the cutscene, collect the sould key and you have done the

easter egg.

All and all it's an easy easter egg, but is a lil long.

BTW you can also get the katana after completeing the easter egg

inside the dojo.

Let the process begin, again.

What's up ladies and gentlemen?

Fellow machine freaks, I hope you guys are enjoying

your day, I am trying to avoid the rain today,

I'm going to work on Danny's second charger.

As you know I pulled out the other engine, now I gotta

work on doing this.

This time I'm going to be a little bit more wiser with

my time, saying that, we're probably going to be doing

this in two parts, maybe three parts.

Now if I weren't filming this, this would only take

me a couple hours because I know exactly what I'm doing,

but I want to keep you guys in the loop.

That's why it would take me two days, why it would take

me three days is because I have other work to do.

I gotta go to the dentist.

And other stuff like that.

Now there might be a specific order for some people,

but for me, you know, you're tearing the whole engine

out, just do whatever you can do first.

That didn't last long at all.

Like I said, this could take me a couple days.

When they say April showers bring May flowers,

they were not kidding about the April showers part.

It continues to rain here in New York, I'm getting

sick of it, now if i had a nice, big shop then I wouldn't

worry about it, but come one, we gotta work out in

the outdoors.

All of the plants are looking beautiful though.

That's a good thing.

Ah, you know what, I'm not gonna worry about that just yet.

So remember when I was heading down to Florida to see

my girlfriend for New Years, and my tire fell off my truck?

I am totally gonna remember this day.

I bought a couple of things that should prevent that

from happening ever again.

I've had 'em for a while, they've been sitting on my shelf,

but I finally found the time to install them.

I'm not entirely sure if you're going to remember this,

but because that wheel fell off, I didn't have any of

the lug nuts, so instead of parking my truck on the side

of the road, I actually drove the truck with six lug nuts

on each tire instead of eight, it made it to the store,

I'm just sure that's frowned upon.

As you can tell, you can see I still have some lugs

missing, I'm about to fix that, and then I won't have

issues with wheels falling off anymore.

The brake pads look good.

So here are my nice, new shiny lugs.

I got all 32, none of them are missing, that won't happen

again, at least that's the plan.

Just in case any of you were wondering,

these are directional tires.

The coolest things about diesels are, they have so much

torque and they put out so much torque, you don't even

need a torque wrench when you change out the lugs,

at least that's what I must have thought, because one

of my wheels fell off.

No that's not what I thought, I did torque the wheels,

what I failed to do was re-torque the wheels.

When you have aluminum wheels, re-torque 'em.

I love the fact that I know that I don't have to get

out two wrenches now.

Two size sockets, that is.

All the brake pads look good.

After my wheel situation, two awesome subscribers sent

me two torque wrenches.

A Snap-on, and a Husky, so I find it appropriate

to use both, in this situation.

So if you don't know, normally I only take 1 day to make my videos, as weird as that

sounds.

I normally wake up at like 9AM every Friday, and just grind out editing for a solid 12

hrs straight every week.

Sometimes I get done early, sometimes a bit later.

That's why my Glock-18 video took until like, 2AM in the morning or something stupid.

So I was literally working on that one for 17hrs.

And that includes stuff like writing the script for the video, getting those fancy models,

or skins in the case of something like the AK47 and Bizon video.

Then throwing it all together in Premiere and After effects then rendering.

So yeah that's pretty much how every Friday goes for me.

Back in December I had more time to put more effort into the video with the SFM and shit

but that's because I had that whole month off school.

So I'm only taking 1 class this summer.

Ayy differential equations, my favorite!

I was originally going to take the summer off from school to dedicate it to youtube

and streaming, but unfortunately all those advertisers pull out of youtube and adrev

has gone to complete shit recently.

Like it's legitimately half as much now.

It's actually kind of scary at the moment being a content creator on YouTube, and I

really hope youtube is going to do something about it.

I didn't originally start doing YouTube for the money, and it isn't my main priority,

but it's still one of those things I have to be conscious about for stuff like, trying

to take the summer off for example.

I no longer can afford to now because of it, so I'm still going to take at least 1 class.

Which is something I'd like to ask: how would you guys feel about sponsored videos?

So far this whole time I've been declining them.

Obviously I'd never do gambling videos and stuff like that.

But I mean just in general, how would you guys feel?

It wouldn't get in the way of my current uploading.

If I were to do a sponsored video, it would be a separate one.

So normally I'd upload on Friday, then maybe on Tuesday, or something I could upload a

2nd one that would be sponsored, that way they are separate, because I don't really

want the 2 interfering with each other.

Like, I've had offers of several thousand dollars for putting something like a 10 second

ad at the start of my parody videos, and that's not even for anything gambling related, but

I just kept declining them because I think it would look weird on them, and I'd rather

keep it separate.

I know I had an offer for doing a showcase of those IRL csgo knives which I thought are

pretty fucking cool.

And I love doing IRL videos because I can do more editing stuff with it, but I'm a

video game channel so I don't really get the chance to, so I was thinking about doing

something like that.

I'm actually curious and I will be reading all the comments on it.

Or even something like Patreon.

I've been talking to other youtubers recently about after the whole advertiser thing that

happened, and several of them are considering it, but aren't sure like me.

and I know there's other youtubers like SovietWomble that do it, but I'm just not

sure how I feel about it, and I'd rather listen to what you guys have to say.

But back to the whole school situation: Normally I'd take 2 classes over the summer,

but honestly I just want a break from School, so this way I can still do YouTube and school

at the same time.

So since I am only taking 1 class, I will have more time over the summer for stuff like

streaming.

Normally when I stream, I try to do the multi-stream thing where it streams to both youtube and

twitch at the same time so everyone can watch it at least.

Which is actually one of the reasons why I won't get partnered on Twitch is because

once you sign with them, you can't stream gaming content anywhere but on twitch, so

then I couldn't do the multi-stream thing.

So yeah, I should have more time this summer for stuff like YouTube and streaming compared

to this last semester, so I thought I'd just give you guys a heads up on the future,

and what I've been doing.

Getting Crayfish Drunk... For Science! - Duration: 5:12.

A trio of scientists at the University of Maryland have spent a lot of time spiking

the water in tanks of crayfish with booze... for science!

The experiment sounds kind of ridiculous, but drunk crayfish actually act a lot like

inebriated humans – and could help us figure out the mystery of how alcohol affects the

nervous system.

In this particular study, researchers were looking at how being social seems to affect

drunkenness.

And this week, they reported in the Journal of Experimental Biology that it's harder

to get a crayfish drunk if it's kept in a tank alone.

If you add some ethanol to their tanks, crayfish start acting noticeably drunk.

What does that look like?

Well, if they're a little bit intoxicated, they stand up in an aggressive-looking pose.

A bit more, and they'll start flipping their tails.

And eventually, they lose motor control, and fall onto their backs, and get stuck there.

Now these last two stages of crayfish tomfoolery are easy to spot, so the neuroscientists decided

to set up video cameras to film the drunk crustaceans one at a time – kind of like

crayfish 'Animal House.'

The researchers experimented with crayfish that had been housed in a large tank with

50 to 100 of their buddies, and crayfish that had lived in an isolated tank for one week.

After swimming around in the highest tested concentration of alcohol, the social crayfish

took around 20 minutes to start flipping their tails, while the loner crayfish needed about

28 minutes in their boozy bath.

The loners also took longer to end up helpless on their backs than the social ones.

So, something about being isolated made them less sensitive to alcohol!

Now because we know which neural circuits are involved in tail-flipping, the scientists

stuck silver wires in crayfish abdomens and gave them electric shocks to test how excitable

the neurons were.

Which doesn't sound nice, but at least the mice are catching a break on this one.

Alcohol seems to make those behavior-related neurons more sensitive, so that a weaker shock

will stimulate the circuit more easily and cause some tail-flipping.

But if a crayfish was by itself before soaking in the alcohol, it needs a bigger jolt of

electricity to activate that tail-flipping circuit than one of its social peers.

The researchers think that ethanol is interacting with some neurotransmitter systems to cause

these signs of drunkenness, and that being social might change how certain neurotransmitter

receptors are distributed on cells.

This, in turn, could change how ethanol molecules interact with neurons, which could affect

how easily different circuits are stimulated, and make the weird behaviors more intense.

Now, even if their drunkenness seems like Saturday night shenanigans on a college campus,

crayfish are obviously really different from humans.

So, it's hard to draw direct comparisons to people.

But, eventually, this area of research could help explain why drunkenness might be different

in people who drink with others and those who drink alone.

Now, maybe you're feeling a little parched from all that talk about drinking.

So if you were to go get a snack, you would want to stay away from salty foods so you

don't get even thirstier… right?

Well, a pair of studies out this week in the Journal of Clinical Investigation challenges

that conventional wisdom.

This research was based on a simulated mission to Mars conducted in Russia, and a team of

mostly-German scientists found that participants actually seemed to drink less water if they

ate saltier food.

In space, it really matters how much you eat, drink, and pee, since it's expensive to

send food and water up on rockets.

So researchers have extra reason to test things out like how salty foods affect your thirst!

In this mock mission, two groups of 10 guys were sealed inside a fake spaceship in Moscow

and ate either low-, medium-, or high-sodium diets during their stay.

And for 105 days or more, the researchers tracked how much the pseudo-cosmonauts drank

and urinated.

For a long time, it was assumed that lots of sodium would cause a person to drink more.

The extra fluid would increase the amount of urine and allow the body to get rid of

the excess salt.

But here, the men on the highest sodium diet consistently drank the least.

To figure out why this happened, the researchers turned to mice, and found that the key was

a molecule called urea.

Urea is normally thought of as a waste product.

It's made in your liver and muscles when proteins get broken down, and is how your

body gets rid of excess nitrogen when you pee.

But urea also acts as an osmolyte in your kidneys, helping your body reabsorb some water

and concentrate your urine.

So, if you're eating a high-salt diet, your body responds by making more urea.

That way, you can pee out the extra salt through urine, but you conserve more water by reabsorbing

it to avoid getting dehydrated.

In fact, because making extra urea takes a lot of energy, and you get energy from food,

it seems like you're actually more likely to get hungry and eat more if your diet is

super salty.

So it still might be worth watching your salt, whether you're staying here on Earth or

going up into space.

What is Jeremy Klein Up to in 2017? #RetroRippers (1) - Duration: 9:14.

Hey guys, I'm Rad Rat and I'm back with an all new series.

This time, we're going to find out what happened to Jeremy Klein on "Retro Rippers".

Let's get started.

Welcome to my new series Retro Rippers where I let you know what's going on with your

skate idols from years ago.

Aside from this, I also do game reviews, trick histories, trick tips on the shred school,

and I answer your questions on AskRadRat.

Today, we're talking about Jeremy Klein.

He was a huge name in skateboarding throughout the whole 90s, and a little bit into the 2000s,

and he launched Hook-Ups, which I was shocked to discover is still running today.

I'll talk about that in a second but first let's talk about Jeremy and how he blew

up.

Klein was on flow for Powell for a while, then moved to World Industries.

This is some footage of him winning a street contest in 88.

If you have a chance, watch this full video.

The commentary is hilarious.

When he quit World, he said Rocco kicked him off the team, even though he was already quitting.

Like 'You can't quit!

You're fired!'

A little bit after this, World turned him pro in 1989.

Nobody really knew who he was and his decks weren't really flying off the shelf, until

this video part came out.

Klein's part in Rubbish Heap was legendary.

He had a lot of fast, powerful tricks, and he also did some tech stuff, like this kickflip

5-0, and this super steep backside 360 flip.

He also managed to 180 nosegrind and backside smith a handrail.

Maybe most famously, he also focused Rodney's board, symbolically ending his freestyle career.

Jeremy made the term 'focus' popular too, actually.

Although he says he got the name from Spike Jones who told him he had to 'focus' on

hitting the ground under the deck.

One thing Klein is known for is avoiding the trends.

He never really got into pressure flips or late flips or anything like that.

When he was asked why, he simply said that he hated them.

He stuck to what he liked doing, and it ended up being the direction skateboarding later

went in.

So his early footage still really holds up.

A few years later in 92, Tony Hawk started Birdhouse.

He invited Willy Santos, Steve Berra, and Jeremy Klein to join.

Birdhouse, at the time, made some of the craziest videos.

Look at this stuff from 'The End'.

So they went on these missions to grind all these store signs and gas stations and stuff

like that.

He said that the signs themselves don't grind, so they had to go take measurements

and make up a covering for it that would actually grind.

Then they just went out and shot it without permission or anything.

One time they thought they were going to be caught because a fire truck pulled up, but

the fact that they had lights and generators made it look more legit, and people just assumed

they were allowed to be there.

They did all kinds of other crazy skits too.

Pretty soon, Klein started Hook-Ups.

I wasn't able to get a firm date on when this happened exactly, because it was kind

of a soft launch.

It started with only T-Shirts and slowly built up from there.

But it was probably around 93, because they had a Hook-Ups video in 94.

Hook-Ups was kind of a child company of Birdhouse.

He never left the team, really, this was a side project.

Now when I first started skating in the early 2000s, everyone knew what Hook-Ups was.

It was in all the mail order catalogs and stuff, and was known for all the weird anime

art that they had.

It was always girls in bikinis or less.

I never knew anyone who owned one…

Even if you were into that kind of stuff, you don't necessarily want it on a board,

but they were actually huge back in the day.

Jeremy talks about the art style, and he simply said that he liked anime and there wasn't

enough of it around.

He got his first computer, got Birdhouse's approval, and just started making stuff.

So like I said, they started of with T Shirts and stickers.

By 94 they had a team, and decks.

In 95, it was really starting to take off and they actually made shoes.

You might have known about this because a couple of years ago in 2015, Etnies re-released

their shoe.

The original didn't last very long though.

Jeremy says that one order of shoes would cost a million dollars.

And they were doing well because there wasn't a lot of competition for a while, but as more

skate shoes started to come out, they bailed out of the shoe market because the risk was

too high.

Hook-Ups was big from about 96 to 99, according to Klein, and then started to decline.

They put out a video called "Destroying America" in 2001, which was pretty well

received.

It was a crazy video where they run over trees in a van and do all kinds of weird stuff.

It was more a tour video that focused on the tour stuff rather than the skating.

But it has Gonz and Tony Hawk in it, so that's something.

This whole time, he was still on Birdhouse though.

But that relationship ended in 2008.

Klein says, "What made me retire my board was because Birdhouse made me.

I would've liked to have kept it going.

I love skating and I love having a board out with cool graphics on it.

But Birdhouse was being sold at the time and there were some weird things going on over

there.

I just stopped working for them which is pretty much why that all happened."

In 2010, his old team mate Willy Santos made a guest board for him on his brand, Willy's

Workshop.

But what is he up to now?

He still skates, and he actually runs two skateboard companies.

Surprisingly, the first one is Hook-Ups.

I was blown away to find out that not only are they back, they actually have been in

business this whole time.

I'm surprised that there's still a market for this stuff.

In the 90s, anime graphics were fresh and interesting because nobody knew what it was.

Now, anime stuff is really common, and I would think that it would be really nerdy or weird

to have.

It's not an exotic or interesting thing anymore.

Having anime bikini girls on your shirt would be less edgy and more like you're a dude

who's in love with his pillow case.

But still, they're around, making shirts, sweaters, stickers, hats and graphics.

I can't really show half of the graphics they make, but check it out on your own if

you want.

They're 60 to 65 bucks each these days, which makes sense considering it's more

of a small business now without bulk ordering and economies of scale.

The sizes start at 8 and go up from there like a lot of boards these days.

The other brand he runs is called JK Industries.

I think.

The site is JeremyKlein.com, and the banner says 'ku-ra-i-n' in Japanese katakana,

which is as close to 'Klein' as you can get.

So it's either Klein Industries or JK Industries.

Anyway, he makes silk screened boards there, as opposed to the heat transfer stuff you'll

see in most places.

The graphics are mostly anime and gaming, including a pokemon one and even a Dragonball

z one.

The prices are similar to Hook-Ups, or maybe a little higher.

But you can get a lot of them signed too.

So that's what Jeremy is up to these days.

He's still skating at 45 years old, and still involved in skateboarding.

hi everybody it's time for our mom talk

again today I want to talk about our

story how we started to have children we

were married for about not even a year I

think yeah it was a couple months before

years that we were married and as you

know I'm a kindergarten teacher and I

love children and I always loved

children and I always want to have

wanted to have children so yeah that's

that was the point when I said to Andrew

what about having a baby now and he said

well yeah I'm a little older older so I

want to get started so I was just 20 at

that time but yeah he said okay let's

try let's have a baby so we started

trying and trying and trying and it

didn't kind of work but then I think it

was I think June or something june or

july when I got pregnant and we got

really excited and it was so happy and

yeah I needed to learn stuff so for

example that you only can use a

pregnancy test after a while it's not

right immediately so you have to wait in

a few weeks and but now they actually

have pregnancy tests that you can use in

our earlier stage so I think that's

that's a good thing now but yeah so what

did it doctor and that he confirmed that

i'm pregnant and we're really happy and

excited and my my sister-in-law was

pregnant as well so we were excited that

my brother and me we would have two

babies together and then we went to a

holiday in Italy I remember and we had a

good time and then we when we came back

I started to have some bleeding and I

was kind of worried and but then I i

read online that this could happen and

but still i went immediately to the

doctor it was it wasn't that bad that

bleeding was just really light and

sometimes not very often but then I went

to the doctor

she was really dumb Dunkey sorry about

that worst I was looking for a nice

worse it's not a swear word but he just

said yeah well there's the baby died

nothing left it didn't grow so yeah it's

gone you have to go to the hospital and

have a little surgery to get the wound

cleaned out I don't know what's the word

for that in English but yeah so he was

really he didn't even look at me and I

was as you can imagine devastated you

know I was young I was excited to have a

baby and I was devastating and still to

this day you see it gets to me you never

forget that feeling when you lose this a

baby that you wished for and I know that

happens to a lot a lot a lot of moms out

there and it's really hard at that

moment when you find out that you just

lost her yo middle o rice corn in there

it's not very big at that moment I was

nine weeks pregnant but yes still it was

a baby it was a little person so yeah I

went to the hospital afterwards and I

had that surgery and then I remember I

had to take pills because your your womb

starts to grow as a second when you got

to get pregnant and have to took I had

to take medication that my womb would

get the size the normal size again so

that it would shrink again and so that

was really painful because it was like

having contractions so that was painful

and I remembered lying there in my bed

and just praying and saying why why

would this happen to me and like can I

have babies and so yeah it was a really

hard time for me because my my brother

had his baby then alena lover she was

born in November that year and yeah and

I always remembered that the birth the

birth date for that baby was april

twenty seventh and did it till this day

I never will forget it so yeah and then

we tried again and again and again and

then two years went by and I didn't get

pregnant and I was really devastated and

really sad and yeah you know we're

religious people and I was really crying

out to my Heavenly Father why why is

just happening to me why I I'm a

kindergarten teacher I need some

children give me some so we were married

about almost four years and never had a

baby and everybody around me got

pregnant and babies and that's a really

hard thing to if you have a baby if

someone has a baby around you and you

don't really want one and but you still

had to be happy with what you have at

that moment yeah but then my mom we were

still trying and trying just one mom

found that it's called a baby wish

clinic and she found that and she made

an appointment and she said okay I'm in

an appointment you go in there and you

you get checked out and answer gets

checked out and you have to you have to

see what's wrong and what's happening so

they found out that there's a little

problem with Andrew and yeah but it's

not that good so we had to consider yeah

now I need the word I think it's IVF but

I'm not sure maybe Andrew can write it

down here what it really is where they

take an egg out of you and then

the sperm and they put it the sperm in

the agony put the egg back in the woman

that's the explanation but I'm not sure

about the word in english but i'm sure

you know what i mean so we had to do

this and that was really not long it was

about i went there the first appointment

we had in February I remember and in

April we had the first yeah the first

try to put an egg back into me so it was

a couple of months but I had to had to

put some shots into my belly for harmach

hormones hormones hormones shop shop and

that was really hard and then they the

suction were where they suck the eggs

off of your uterus that was devastating

and kind of painful and hard for me to

do and I said I think they they sucked

ten eggs out and they they tried to use

all those ten eggs but only three would

go on to the next stadium of developing

so and then when it was time to put the

eggs back in my room it was they were

only two left who really developed that

good and debt healthy and so you could

use them so they put two eggs back into

me and yeah and then you have to wait

two weeks to see if they're grow and if

there yeah stuck if they're stuck in

your belly so yeah that was the craziest
