Hi! Happy New Year!
2016 went and 2017 is here.
How do you feel?
I feel great.
Sales Communications grew over 20% in 2016.
Amazing growth.
Many people ask us how inbound-marketing works and does it even really work?
100% of our growth was due to inbound.
We've never done outbound.
And we've grown annually over 100%, even 300%. Last year we grew 20%.
The target is to grow the same amount in 2017.
That's sales, that comes when you do the right things. But Inbound works, believe me.
Some figures from this year. We have three new employees. Fanni, Elina and Johanna.
Great people working in a great team making sure your and your friends' things are rocking out even better in the future.
I challenge my customers, to try and achieve better results than us. I promise to buy a dinner at Kalastajatorppa to the best team, if someone can achieve better results than us.
That's the first challenge of the year. I haven't really made any resolutions for the new year.
We had 39 customers last year in total. This group of people generated about 50 leads per a month.
And from those 50 leads they generated 24 000 inbound-leads in total during the past 12 months.
39 customers, average 50 leads per a month and 24 000 in total.
It's quite amazing. But our customers have really worked for it. They've produced great amount of content.
The success hasn't spread evenly. Absolutely not. There are those, who really do their work superbly, but there are also those who are still trying to get the hang of it all.
Everyone's slowly getting there.
Thank you to each and everyone for being there with us. Let's make 2017 even better.
We recently became Google Partners. Besides doing a lot of natural search optimizing, we're now Adwords partners.
At the beginning of 2016 we became HubSpot Platinum Partners.
It means that we have a lot of customers who are extremely satisfied.
HubSpot measures satisfaction by sales, but also by measuring the utilization rate of our customers' HubSpot portals.
Another great thing that happened in 2016 was this: HubSpot partner of the year in EMEA-area.
We won against many other offices and this acknowledgement was a huge surprise to us all.
Finland is a tiny little splash of population in Europe, but with marketing we're on the top of the world.
In inbound-marketing and marketing automation.
That was something that brought me a lot of joy.
Some other figures from 2016:
Our "Kasvupodcast" which can be found either on Soundcloud or iTunes was listened to over 20 000 times.
Our videos on YouTube were viewed over 21 000 times. It's interesting that these figures go hand in hand.
Our Finnish HubSpot school has now 29 episodes thanks to Joni for really putting effort to that project.
It's a free service and can be found here in our YouTube channel.
We started a new podcast series called "Life of a HubPartner". It's in English. Link can be found in bio.
We're planning to extend it in 2017.
It's targeted to agencies all over the world, those who work with HubSpot and to those who would want to work with HubSpot and are wondering of joining the partner programme.
In the podcasts we cover what HubSpot agency life is all about.
It's all about winning trophies, throwing great parties and working, working, wolrking.
We were discussing today about Finnish competitiveness agreement and we've decided to go to a paid 24h cruise.
That's how we're going to aid our competitiveness in 2017.
There were about 50 attendees at our webinars in 2016.
We organized about 30 webinars.
So over 1500 attendees at our webinars all together.
We started #Aaltonen video series, we'll see what happens. But what we've seen so far our views have gone up since we started.
Videos are growing, we've been talking about this a lot. That's why we've added them to our services.
Here's a tip: when you meet your clients record short reference cases with your phone. They're the best way to advertise your company.
Your phone is your media now.
In 2016 we did a quick trip to Dublin with our customers to HubSpot's European headquarters.
I wanted to come to Dublin to hear directly from HubSpot, what is inbound-marketing right now.
And what they can offer besides their software.
The past two days have been very inspiring. I've gotten some answers to all these questions that I've had about.
Also this trip reminded me of all the training videos HubSpot can offer to its customers. It's important to follow the process.
That way you can probable achieve great results. Both to sales and marketing
I joined this trip because I wanted to learn more about inbound-marketing from HubSpot, who are the best in the world in inbound.
What I learned is how we can combine the process of marketing and how we can create content that our customers want to consume.
I came here to investigate how we can boost our usage of HubSpot.
These two days have taught me that perhaps I'm going home with the knowledge of how I can do marketing more efficiently.
I also understand how HubSpot supports marketing.
It's been interesting two days. A lot of information about deeper knowledge on the process of sales and how to get better leads.
I understand now what needs to be done and it's inspiring to see how into people here are into inbound and HubSpot.
The best part of 2016 was that we got to work with these amazing people.
In 2016 the best part was that I was able to do and try out different things with graphics.
The best part to me was when I visited HubSpot's European headquarters in Dublin.
I received tips from real inbound-gurus.
the best part of 2016 was that I got to produce interesting and relevant content to our customers.
Best part of 2016 were all the challenging projects and the brand-new features of HubSpot.
Best part of 2016 was to get to work with this amazing team and learning tons of stuff about inbound.
Best part of 2016 was to score my internship in Sales Communications and developing the Inbound 2016 web page.
The best thing about 2016 was that our company's party was on time, for once.
The best thing about 2016 was that inbound-sales has finally started to grow.
I really enjoyed that I got to be part of in many interesting video productions.
I really liked to working here.
Best for me was to be able to work with amazing customers and people.
Everyone who work with us, all of those who've been at our events and workshops. You're the best.
Because inbound and marketing automation is for those who are early adopters, those who are curious and want to try and do different things.
It's a great feeling when success follows, when sales go up and leads start pouring in.
That feeling of success is what I have in my mind when I think of 2016.
Happy New Year and let's make 2017 even better.
