whether on the side of good or bad there are some movie characters
you just really can't stand. some characters are bad people
but others are just horrible. i made a list of those movie characters
that you would gladly punch in the face, provided they were of this world

here's a look at the most despised, hated movie
movie characters list so far. i want to punch in their face
number one commodus from 'gladiator'
commodus takes over power and demotes maximus, one of the preferred generals of his
father and predecessor, emperor marcus aurelius maximus is relegated to fighting till
death as a gladiator. in the movie he's a murderer, unjust, and a coward
yet he becomes emeperor of rome! i was so glad at the ending
when he gets owned by maximus. so for every heroic act russell crowe's maximus does
while serving as a gladiator slave, joaquin phoenix's commodus does something
immoral and twisted. it is plenty to make him into a guy you just can't stand
even his face is enough to make you want to slap him
number two mrs carmody from the mist
mrs. carmody is the main antagonist in the movie. she is a middle-aged townswoman with
a reputation as a witch. she is known in bridgton for her mental instability and her
bloodthirsty belief in a viciousgod. credit goes to marcia gay harden for creating a religious
fanatic who quickly becomes worse than the creepy mist taking over a small new england
town and unleashing monsters upon its citizens. her actions lead to far more sinister
moments than even some of the nastiest monsters pouring out of the mysterious fog cause
number three denethor from 'the lord of the rings: the return of the king
there are a lot of good and bad characters in 'the lord of the rings' trilogy, but denethor is
the only one who really only seems to exist to make decisions that are upsetting to the
audience. the guy is so taken in by his standing and obsessed with giving praise to his first
son that all his choices turn him into one of the worst people in middle-earth
number four percy wetmore from the green mile
percy wetmore is the secondary antagonist in the novel the green mile by stephen king and
its movie version. he is portrayed by doug hutchison here's another stephen king novel turned
into a movie directed by frank darabont. just like 'the mist,' 'the green mile' also features a
loathsome character played to perfection by doug hutchison. percy is a sadistic prison
guard who enjoys aggravating the prisoners, particularly eduard "del" delacroix. although the
other guards share a dislike of him, they must be nice to him because he is the governor's
nephew. percy wetmore is so cruel that there is nothing but anger that comes with thinking
of his actions
number five nurse ratched from one flew over the cuckoo's nest
she is the head nurse at the mental institution that she works. she is often considered one
as of the greatest female villains in movie history. louise fletcher won an oscar for playing
one of the greatest movie villains ever. nurse ratched represents the establishment in the
worst of ways. while jack nicholson's randle mcmurphy attempted to bring a level of fun to
his surroundings in the mental ward, nurse ratched did everything
she could to squash any sense of hope. she's just horrible
